“The Old Firehouse is a big late night relaxed vibe bar a little off of the High Street. Open late, 3am over the weekends - serving pizza's late into the evening. Huge range of local Ale and Cider. Live music events throughout the week. Very warm and welcoming and a fantastic spot for a late night social evening. ”

“Perched on the edge of the historic Exeter Quayside, in a magnificent 19th-century warehouse. On the Waterfront serves a tempting choice of lunch and dinner dishes - from their well-renowned pizzas to fresh fish, meats, pasta and salads with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Gluten-free and vegan options also available.”

“A very worthwhile 20-30 min walk from the Quay (although you can also drive), this pub is great all year around. In the summer, you'll find many Extonians in the huge garden where you can throw down a blanket to sit on the banks, under the trees or on their benches with riverside decking. The BBQ shed is often open, or you can order homemade pub classics from inside the bar. In the winter, you can sit by one of the roaring fire places, order a roast and play board games. Or just read a book. Note, all food and drink must be purchased from the venue. But prices are reasonable and they do wicked homemade pork pies and scotch eggs!”

“Fab cocktail house, popular with students and locals, 241 deals every night until 7pm and literally just around the corner from the flat so great for that first (or last!) drink!”

Night Club
“Self-described as "Exeter's half decent nightclub," this place is usually very busy at the weekends for good reason. Several floors catering to different tastes in music, plus the obligatory greasy food is served until the early hours in the large outdoor chill out area.”

Night Club
“Underground café by day, live music venue by night. This alternative hub – sticky tables and all – is Exeter’s longest running live music venue, and has been host to some of the biggest names in the UK, including Coldplay, Biffy Clyro and Muse, as well as acting as a platform for local and international bands. Friendly note – not recommended for your “Sunday best” outfits. Reopening on 24 May after a fire in September 2016”
