“The Toccoa River Swinging Bridge is a 270-foot long bridge and is the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. Located on the Benton MacKaye Trail as well as the Duncan Ridge National Recreation Trail and accessible from Highway 60, this bridge is great for hikers, paddlers, and fishermen. Supported by simple anchoring at each end, this scaled-down suspension bridge swings not only from side to side but also bounces up and down which makes this even more fun.”
