“Huske Hardware is kind of iconic around here. They serve American food. They are open as a restaurant and bar during the day, and turn up the music and stay open late on the weekends. ”

American Restaurant

“Circa 1800 is a locally own restaurant featuring Southern food with a modern gourmet twist. They source most of their ingredients from North Carolina. They have a fantastic Sunday brunch with a bloody Mary Bar. The serve craft beers and signature cocktails. It is a great place for a date night or special night out. They make PERFECT dirty martinis.Their menu changes seasonally. The steak, bone in pork chop, tuna nachos, and scallops are always a hit. For brunch, try the chicken and waffles, french toast, or cinna-bun burger! They do not take reservations, so arrive early to grab a table.”

“I don’t like throwing shade on any local place, but because it is walking distance and I am a food blogger, I have to be very honest. Lattitude 35 is not the best place to eat. The food is o.k.... however, if you do decide to order, the grouper fingers are good, the burger is decent, the seared ahi tuna is generally delicious, and the quesadillas are good. With that said, it is a great little joint to hang out and have a drink. They have a full bar menu. They usually have live music at night and a great outdoor patio. The atmosphere is fun and it is a hang-out for the neighborhood locals. ”

“Small, cozy, romantic place for delicious Italian food. They do not accept reservations and they only seat a few tables. You will want to get there early to wait for your table. The food is made from scratch and delicious. It is worth the wait. A few suggestions include: Frutti De Mar, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Caprese, Chicken Picatta, Tiramisu, and Cannoli. ”
