  • Great experience! Beautiful home with bones and huge back yard. What you see is what you get. Flexible arrival times and Earleen is the nicest person you ever want to meet. Great place as a stop between the beach if looking for a quiet place to sleep and just relax. Very serene!!! Won't get a meal and not sure if there is an eatery close by so plan for your meals. Earleen was also extremely responsive from the very beginning. Can't wait to go back......

  • Such a cozy house we love it, clean and comfortable place. I definitely recommend.

    Gulay2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very cute house and for being nearly 200 years old in wonderful condition. Earleen takes the time to show you around and will give you the local spots to eat. She actually gave me some history of the area and her home that I was aware of. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our selves.

    Robert2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • She was an amazing host. Room was very clean and cute. Her front porch was beautiful.

    Karen2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • We were very warmly welcomed (even though we arrived very late) and felt welcome during our entire stay -- while also feeling we had our own space. Comfortable room and bed and A/C made a few very hot days just the right temperature. Lovely and quaint home. Room faced main road but not much traffic (small town) and A/C also blocked noise. Very nice stay and would return.

  • My boyfriend and I were eager to get out of Philly and spend a few days in the middle of nowhere, and Earleen's bnb was the perfect place to unwind. The house is ornate, handcrafted, and reminded me of all the summers I spent with my grandparents in rural PA. There is a beautiful front porch with comfy seating and a relaxing hammock in the backyard. We had access to fresh towels and a basket of toiletries in case we forgot anything, and every morning there was hot coffee waiting for us on the table outside of our room. The rooms offer a lot of privacy, and Earleen had great tips on local activities. It was a pleasant, relaxing weekend, and we'd love to come back again sometime.

    Alicia2015-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was WONDERFUL! Earleensam was a wonderful host! When we arrived and the whole stay was very warm welcoming and cozy! Our room was very clean, private and a wonderful stay! In the morning we were greeted by wonderful coffee that made our stay complete! My husband and I will be back;) Thank you again!

    Shan2015-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Earleen was a friendly host who made sure we were comfortable. She gave us great traffic advice for getting to Ocean City on the weekend, and we enjoyed hanging out on her porch and chatting.

  • Best country side house to unwind on a weekend with friends and family. Lori is an amazing host and provides all the details before we even arrive. She even accommodated to check out an over later. Plus, she's from Syracuse. Go orange!

  • Great place for a family retreat. The property was clean, well provisioned, very spacious, and makes for a great home away from home. Lori was a terrific host. Very responsive and very thoughtful about the small details that make the difference between a good stay and a great stay for her guests. I would stay here again.

  • This place was beautiful. Only an hour away from Rehoboth Beach and 10 minutes away from shops and restaurants. Plenty of space for all of us. Check in and out was simple. We loved our visits from Stripes the cat. Would definitely come again!

  • Wonderful family friendly farmhouse retreat. Quiet and comfortable, wonderful beds, and charming views. Lots of pantry items helped us prepare family dinner easily. Quick access to Seaford. Great accommodating hosts, they even left fresh fruit and English Muffins for breakfast! Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway. Hope to visit again soon!

    Kari2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet farmhouse with all necessary amenities for a weekend outside of the city. Lori and Dennis were great hosts and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

    Matt2017-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in an idyllic location, close to Seaford, Bridgeville and Federalsburg. We were in town for a funeral and it was so nice that my and my brothers whole family could stay together under one roof during this difficult weekend. We had ages from 55 to 15 months and the yard, pond, goats, ducks, and beautiful views kept us all happy and occupied. Lori is an exceptional host and helped us every step of the way.... this was our first airbnb and it was a great experience.

    Gale2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • We came with a group of 12 on our 3 weeks East Coast vacation for two nights to relax before heading into New York. It was a wonderful time even though we had to squeeze us a bid into the bedrooms, which was OK at the end for our short stay. A very recommendable place with very nice and responsive hosts!

    Christopher2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • The host: simply delightful and so very thoughtful! The farm... where to begin? A real treat in the heart of Deleware farm country. The house is amazing... just perfect for a large family or a big gathering. The ducks, goats, wild turkey and hayfields! This place is so very special... and the hosts make you feel at home. We hope to return for a longer visit! We love this place in Delightful Southern Delaware! The Eaton family

  • Katherine has the sweetest heart of any hostess I've had the distinct privilege of staying with. She opens her home as if you're family, goes above and beyond expectations of a hostess, and always ensures you're comfortable, fed, and well rested. She's wonderful to converse with, but also respects privacy. I'd go out of my way to stay with her again.

  • Phoenix's place is conveniently located to Easton. It was a quiet location. We had a nice breakfast at Katie Mae's in the little town of Preston, just a few minutes from Phoenix's location.

  • A lovely nest situated in a cute, rural setting. You are given ample privacy, everything was clean, and Phoenix is a great host.

  • Pheonix was a very gracious host. She made my daughters and me feel very welcome. It was a great stay. Thank you, Phoenix.

    cecilia2016-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • I booked the Air Bnb because all the hotels in the Cambridge MD area were booked solid for the Ironman 70.3 race this past weekend. I found Pheonix listing mostly because of how close it was to Cambridge. Pheonix was splendid, and the room was clean and comfortable, I walked in to nice treats and cold water in my room with fresh towels. She had a breakfast bar setup with cold water, fruit and coffee set for the morning. Pheonix truly went out of her way to make sure everything was up to par and truly made one feel very welcomed. If I come back to do another 70.3 in Cambridge I will certainly book with Pheonix. She has a fabulous porch outback that oversees a tree line and fields with some spectacular sunset, perfect for unwinding before a race.

  • What a little gem this place is! Cozy, full of love and light, many specialo touches. I felt as if I was at mom's and was just the getaway I needed. Phoenix was away, but made sure I had everything I needed and was in touch the whole time. Wonderful!

  • Thank you, for the great hospitaloty. This was our first airbnb experience and it was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was clean and big as well as the bathroom. We will definitely be back!

  • Ismet's apartment was so cozy! He made us feel welcomed and at home. He provided snacks and water. He even communicated to us that there was no rush for check out. I would definitely stay at his place again.

    Keisha2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Ismet is awesome! His place is quiet and clean, very close to shops. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

    Kelly2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • The space was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The bed literally hugs you as if it wants to say, "I'm going to make you forget all of your troubles. Just go to sleep." The bathroom was fully stocked if you needed a toothbrush, mouthwash, soap, etc. No complaints.

    Lauryn2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ismet provides water which is much appreciated since he doesn't have an ice maker or ice cube trays. He is an excellent communicator. He has basic cable but you can watch on demand movies using SD. There are no curtains, only blinds so the sun comes in early each morning. We had 3 drawers and no hangers so bring your own. He provides shampoo and soap and a wonderful hot pot for tea, not coffee. Ismet uses honey with his tea, so bring your own sugar, etc. Bon Appetit, Hopkins Dairy Farm and Salisbury cinema were excellent. We should have cooked more since several restaurants aren't open on Sunday or Monday evenings. At least 45 minutes to beaches so we didn't pursue that option since we didn't want to bring sand back in our cars to his place.

    Diane2017-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved staying at Ismet's place. He's a great host, very helpful and thoughtful. He gave us advice on restaurants nearby and tips for getting around. The area is gorgeous, ponds and herons, very green and quiet. The room was very tidy and neat, Ismet left plenty of bathroom supplies, and even treated us with cookies. He's a very pleasant and friendly person, and we'd be happy to be his guests again.

    Stepan2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend anybody staying at this location. The host, Ismet was gracious, accommodating, informative and flexible. The apartment is very neat and comfortable and in a nice convenient location.

  • Earleen is very nice and considerable. She waited up to welcome us on the first day of our arrival. Every morning, she prepared coffee and energy bars as breakfast and offered us bottles of water and towels too. The room is quiet and comfortable. There are a television, night stands and enough plugs for charging. A very sweet place for a traveller.

    dannie2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Earleen made me feel completely welcomed from the moment I arrived. She waited up for me (despite the fact that I arrived 1 hour later than we’d agreed upon, due to heavy traffic). She met me in the driveway with a sweet and cheerful “Hello & Welcome”, she helped me with my bag, gave me a tour of her home, provided me with keys and showed me which keys corresponded to the front door as well as to the room I was staying in. She went the extra mile and picked up a local paper featuring events around town and she shared house rules and how I was to contact her in the event of an emergency. The listing is accurate. The king size bed is very comfortable. Earleen’s home is peaceful, has positive energy and is quiet which is highly conducive to resting and sleeping soundly. Earleen provides 2 her guests complimentary bottles of water and makes personal toiletries and towels available. The neighborhood is clean, quaint and quiet. I also had the chance to say hello to her friendly neighbors and their very cute dog.

    Melissa2015-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautiful, as was the neighborhood. Our host could not have been more hospitable. I would recommend this as a weekend getaway in a quiet, friendly little town that has a lot to offer.

    Carey2015-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Charming host! Earleen made our experience! She is a pleasant and gracious host and makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive until you wave goodbye. The house is clean and comfortable!!! I loved the small town feel of Federalsburgh too. This is where I am staying when I come to Cambridge for Eagleman and IMMD! Ask Earleen about her photography business, she's a rockstar!!! Looking forward to staying here again!!!

    Lenny2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Earleen was a lovely host as was her homey, historic home.

    Robyn2015-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Earleen was a great host with an accurate representation of her charming accommodations. Earleen was great with communications before, during and after our stay. The room was clean and well maintained with a window A/C in the King room that did a fine job on a hot night. The backyard was peaceful with a nice hammock. If you need a room in the area I would recommend Earleen's place.

    Chris2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Earleen was great! She was very warm & welcoming & the room was very nice. I definitely will be back to stay when I'm in the area.

  • This Cottage is so beautiful from the panoramic waterviews from every angle of the house to the nice and relaxing pier. My fiancé and I stayed for our Anniversary and the owners left us a bottle of wine with a nice note wishing us a happy anniversary. The inside is comfortable and spotless. We made a fire in the fire pit at night with the wood they supplied for us and enjoyed listening to the owls. We will definitely be back!

The J&M House is located on the back part of a beautiful large property we call East Gate which is used as a cooperative for many businesses and events in our community. We will disclose any planned events at the time of your reservation as you may want to attend! This modern yet cozy home was custom built by our son. We bought the home from he and his wife so that they could pursue new adventures. This home accommodates up to 2-5 people, depending on the your preferences.
The home is spacious but cozy. There's plenty of room for privacy and spreading out but the decor reminds you of a Better Homes and Gardens restful escape. It offers beautiful scenery but is only 30 minutes from beaches and tax free outlets.
The property has only one close neighbor. There is a meeting building that is usually unoccupied as well as a large farmhouse that's being rennovated during the day. We will disclose any event planned during your reserved time to be sure it fits well with your desired stay.

We are making our home available for athletes competing in the Oct. 17 2015 Ironman Maryland. Our home is part way through an ongoing update but has everything you need to be comfortable. One large bedroom with queen bed, and one room w/ twin bed.
Our home is a 1930s American Foursquare that was built by its longtime original owner. The property was home for a local family for many years. We are currently in the process of a 6-year project to complete an update to the property. The Home is modest in size with the first floor consisting of the kitchen, living room, dining room, as well as mud/laundry space. The second floor consists one large bedroom with queen size bed, one small room with a twin size bed. The home is situated on approximately 1-acre of land.
The home is located in a rural/suburban area of Dorchester County, near the waterman village of Secretary, MD. A beautiful bike ride from Secretary to the village of Choptank is a must!
  • Katie was a volunteer at the 2015 Ironman Maryland event that brought us to Cambridge. When the event was postponed due to Hurricane Joaquin and everyone was scrambling to re-book accommodations she arranged to move her family out of their home for the weekend to make it available to the athletes and their fans. We saw a posting on one of the race related (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) pages and jumped on it for our party of 3 - a couple and a single - staying 4 nights. Nothing fancy, just a 1930's country home that a young family is in the midst of modernizing. It sits on a corner lot of over an acre at the intersection of quiet country roads outside the hamlet of Secretary, 15 minutes from downtown. It is very homey with original well-worn hardwoods everywhere and big open rooms. There is no major construction in progress just cosmetic things like moldings and paint. Everything we needed was there ... some newer appliances, some older. The two cats she left behind to keep an eye on us and the chickens in the coop added to the homey feel (we fed the cats daily, she came out to feed the chickens). The WiFi was great, although cell service out there is a bit spotty. The master is huge as they've turned 2 of the 3 bedrooms into one. The other bedroom the smaller with a double bed. The King master bed was very comfortable. Note that the master bedroom doesn't have closets. There is one full bathroom next to the bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs has a big full kitchen with large pantry, separate dining room, big family room with flat screen TV, cable and comfortable leather chair and big L sofa. Back entrance has mud room with washer/dryer where we stored out bikes. Front entrance has a nice covered wrap-around veranda with chairs. Parking is on a gravel driveway behind the house with room to park several vehicles. We met Katie a couple of times at the event and she couldn't have been more gracious. She had stocked the fridge with essentials for us and offered to make the home available for another night after the race if we needed to recover. For our part we were delighted to be staying in a relaxing home environment and getting good nights' sleep rather than the craziness of the host hotel during the stressful lead up to the start of the race. The icing on the cake was that we helped Katie and her husband fund their remodeling project while we saved $1800 compared to the host hotel's $580 nightly rate with all their add-on fees. And we had a whole house not a hotel room! For those doing Ironman Maryland 2016, I'd highly recommend Katie's home if she makes it available again.

  • This is the perfect getaway. I spent Labor Day weekend here with a friend and can honestly say it was one of my favorite weekends. Honnor and Justin made me feel imidiatly at home. They left us freshly caught crabs to eat all weekend, offered to pick us up groceries and wine before we arrived. I don't know which I liked better, being inside the carriage house, or just outside of it. The house itself, is beautiful. It is perfectly decorated and easy to navigate. The bedroom is huge with a lovely outside deck- perfect for coffee and robe time! The fireplaces upstairs and down, makes this the perfect getaway even in the winter. Outside the house, you are surrounded by water, hammocks and fire pits. The private beach is steps away. Everything was so peaceful and quiet. The sunrises and the sunsets were - spectacular and the best part of every day. I will one hundred percent be coming back here- this is my new favorite place to be! Honnor and Justin are the best!

  • The Carriage House was a breath of fresh air and a true getaway. It happened to be just where we wanted to stay, so we couldn’t have been happier. Beautiful home-inside and out! We were able to relax and enjoy the amazing sunset/rise and quietness. Words cannot describe the charm of the property, the surrounding Choptank river, the pond etc … The house is country style with modern deco objects, very charming and comfortable. The style is simple and elegant. You can tell the host put into a lot of efforts into decorating it. Honnor, our host, was very warm and welcoming. She was on top of questions and had the fridge stocked with yummies for breakfast/snack time as well as nice wines. Perfect host!

  • I would highly recommend Honnor, Justin and Tagg's Eastern Shore carriage house if you're looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway. It is very nicely decorated in a modern, relaxing style and has a spectacular bedroom with its own fireplace and a deck with a view of the water. Situated on a lovely piece of property with water on two sides, it's the perfect place to read, relax, paddleboard or kayak on the Choptank river. Honnor is also a very kind and thoughtful hostess. We missed one of the two nights we booked due to the fact that our son had an accident, and Honnor very generously invited us to stay another night. She was very concerned and thoughtful throughout(URL HIDDEN)exquisitely decorated on a lovely spot with views of the water in two directions. It is as nice as they describe it and more

    Kate2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures don't do it justice. The space is beautifully designed and laid out. Very easy living. Did yoga on the bank of the river, then kayaked out among the myriad water and prey birds that call this spot home. Honnor went over expectations in terms of communication and welcoming. We had wonderful time, and I'd love to go back. Note: expect mosquitos, even in the fall. There are mosquito repellents there to use. Also know that the water has a sulphur smell to it, that is expected. You'll notice it when you do dishes and take a shower. That's just the way the water is in that area. The filtered water in the fridge was great for drinking.

    Rory2016-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Honnor has created a magical space for a retreat along the Choptank River and Chesapeake estuary system. The house is immaculate inside - incredibly tasteful. Every single thing that could be thought of to make it a great stay had been put in place - from wonderful bedding, a modern kitchen, Roku, paddle boards and kayaks. Couldn't have been a more special place, and I would not change a single thing. Don't think twice - just book the stay and you'll be very pleased with your selection. It's an amazing home in a very special place. I'd rate it six stars if I could.

    Colin2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was our third visit to the carriage house and it did not disappoint. The scenery is stunning, the house is beautiful, and you have everything you could possibly need... and then some! This visit ended perfectly with our 10 year old daughter catching a foot long catfish 5 minutes before we had to leave! More happy memories made - thank you Honnor and Justin:).

    Christine2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect vacation. Honnor's carriage house is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I've been. The house is immaculate, the views tranquil, and Honnor was a perfect host. We'll eagerly hope to return, two days wasn't nearly enough. Finding places like Honnor's carriage house is why Airbnb exists.

    Anthony2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment I reserved the Carriage House until we were driving home from our long weekend there, our experience with Honnor and Justin and their beautiful property was wonderful. The hosts' communication was exemplary before, during and after our stay, and they were so welcoming and friendly. The photographs accurately depict the place but it is even more lovely in person. The night we arrived I e-mailed Honnor the following message: "We are in love with this place! The carriage house is beautiful and the surroundings magnificent! I will be in touch again but have to go watch the sunset over the bay. Thank you so much for sharing it with us:)." We loved it so much in fact that we invited my sister and her husband to join us for the remainder of the weekend (with the hosts' permission) and they enjoyed a couple of nights with us on the amazing foldaway queen sized EZ bed. Our 9 year old daughter had a ball on the private beach, we swam, kayaked and fished (daughter caught multiple little fish and husband caught a decent sized catfish). The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We would've loved to enjoyed the fireplaces in the bedroom and living room but it was August! We fully intend to return to the Carriage House in the fall and will enjoy them then! The property manager, Clint was great too and even brought us bait. We wholeheartedly recommend this property and these hosts based on this experience and look forward to enjoying them all again soon.

Our place is close to the beach, (1 hour away), but we are RIGHT on the river. Lots of great day trips from the middle of the Eastern shore, but you may not want to leave. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, the views, the high ceilings, the uniqueness. Try out the Tiny House experience. Full kitchen, Private heated outside shower, Queen size bed in loft and full size futon on first floor. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
This is a TINY HOUSE. Not a lot of storage, pack simply. Indoor powder room with flushing toilet. Bathroom and kitchen sink function with room temp water, Shower is OUTDOOR, but water is heated to 40 degrees above incoming water temp. Overall dimensions approx. 8' X 16'. Kitchen has induction burners and outdoor grill also available. Because of water access issues, we don't rent during the coldest months. Spring, Summer and fall are perfect and we have heat and AC
We are less than a mile off Rt 404 and 1 mile from the heart of Denton, but the setting feels very rural. The view from the wall of glass is pure riverfront heaven.
  • A proper getaway should offer something a little out of the ordinary, a place to relax and, if you’re lucky, moments of pure delight. This tiny house and its gracious owners offer all of that and much more. On a long summer weekend, one very tired, stressed-out graphic designer, an endlessly patient husband carrying his fishing pole and one much-loved beagle longing to sit in the sunshine set off on a weekend getaway and lucked into staying here. Solar powered lights lead the way from the road across the lawn to the tiny house. You’re greeted by a front porch with two comfy rocking chairs and a hammock stretched-out between two walnut trees–from that very first moment we knew we were going to love it here. Nancy and Greg could not have been more welcoming- offering a tour of their lovely property including an extensive garden and beautiful plantings of herbs, flowers and trees. There is a wooded trail and a long pier that extends past lily pads into the Choptank river. If you’ve never been charmed by a chicken coop and its inhabitants, you will be here. I only wish I went through life with the easy strut and confidence of a rooster. And watching a chicken sprint across a lawn to greet another chicken is a great deal more entertaining then summer television. One afternoon their eggs appeared on our porch in a wire basket and the next morning we had the best scrambled eggs ever! Nancy took us through the basics of tiny house living and then left us to explore. The tiny house itself is inspiring. I won’t spoil the surprise of experiencing this well-designed and somehow spacious-feeling tiny house for yourself, but if you love elegant solutions, and integrated spaces with just enough of everything, and all things in its place, then you’ll probably oooh and ahhhh as much as we did. The bed in the loft is extremely comfortable. My childhood memories of climbing wobbly ladders up to the top bunk couldn’t be more different then the trip up to the loft. The ladder is secured to the wall and a clever placement of handles at the top makes it an easy and safe-feeling climb– on the way up and on the way down. I can attest that the couch makes for lovely napping. And, my husband can attest that the river makes for lovely fishing. Sitting on the end of the pier for hours, my husband caught catfish, bass and many other fish–he was thrilled. I will not do the description of the fishing justice, but judging from the number of people my husband has already gushed to about the awesomeness of the river I’d say it was very good. The sunset from the end of that same pier- that was magnificent. If you’re travelling with a dog, this place is just lovely. Nancy included so many nice touches that made our dog’s stay special including a super-long leash perfect for the independent...

  • Nancy is kind ,clean and organized. The tiny house is very cozy and relaxing. Nancy gave us fresh eggs and veggies from her garden. The land and surroundings is very scenic. We simply loved our experience! A+

  • If you need a beautiful tiny house experience, look no further! The host, home, and property are wonderful, inviting, and eco friendly. A perfect retreat on the eastern shore. Cannot say enough!!

  • This was the perfect get-away. It was quiet and all the necessities are provided for outdoor activities. The pool was refreshing and awesome! The river is serene for both kayaking and just sitting on the dock. The fresh eggs waiting for us when we checked in and access to the vegetable garden made it all the more special. All around great!

  • Nancy was a great host. Every question I had was answered in a timely matter. Nancy was very welcoming.

  • Nancy was very kind and flexible. We arrived fairly late on our check-in Friday but she was gracious in greeting us. The property is gorgeous, great views of the river, huge garden and salt water pool. Even though the tiny house is on the property, you have plenty of privacy. Downtown Denton is nice for eating. Overall, we had an amazing weekend getaway and got what we wanted - relaxation. :)

    Samantha2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny home is located on property that is absolutely beautiful! It was wonderful to have waterfront access along with the kayaks and paddle board Nancy allowed us to use (just need to sign a waiver). The pool is fantastic as well and located right beside the tiny house. The house is well equipped with all items from toiletries to books to induction cooktops to make food. I would highly recommend this relaxing getaway!

  • What a great experience. We were traveling through and just needed a short stay. Her pup Rome was great and so playful. The bed was comfortable and mini fridge cold. Nice country view. We woke up to the birds chirping, it was quite lovely. Connie served us bagels and cream cheese and offered fresh gourmet coffee.

  • Connie was accommodating and kind, and her place was a perfect spot to lay our heads for a night. We upgraded to to the in home apartment, and it was clean, neat, with plenty of light, a kitchen and two bedrooms. We couldn't have asked for more and a deal at the price. It's a quiet area surrounded by farms. They have a large dog, but he's very sweet. She even threw in some delicious banana bread. an overall great value.

  • Great place to stay. Close to Dover. It is just the room that is connected to the garage, bathroom is in the other house. We ran into a little ant problem, which is to be expected when you are out in the country. Luckily I happen to have raid in the car, and we got rid of them while we were there. Connie is very nice and accommodating.

    David Keelan2016-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Extremely hospitable, kind and welcoming. Arrival time was very lenient which is a big plus for me. Recommend to anyone looking for affordable and warm lodging in the area.

    Eric2016-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second stay with Connie so I knew the place and her. She was welcoming, and because of the hot weather she switched my room so I would be more comfortable. I was in the (forget what she calls it) downstairs of the new satellite space (her old barn) which was rustic (still under construction)as advertised, and was absolutely PERFECT for my needs and wants. The bathroom is in the house (as advertised) but a hose directly outdoors provided water without walking, and the most delightful (if a bit temperamental) outdoor shower and tub are just a short hop. Rome was a wonderful "big cousin" for my puppy and came over to entertain the young one while being very tolerant of my older grouchy dog.

    Libby2016-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Connie was very flexible with check-in time! The place is great, and the room itself is apart from the main house, which affords good privacy. Rome, the dog, is a lovely greeter and always willing to come over and say hi - loved that part!

    Diana2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Connie was easy to communicate with and accepted my last minute request. The room was cool, clean and comfortable. I was just passing through so a comfortable place to sleep was all I needed. For me, the bed was perfect! As others have said, wifi and cell phone reception is weak to none, so this may not be the place for you if you're a business traveler. Also, as described, the bathroom you use is back at the main house. It was very spacious and just a short walk so I didn't mind at all. Connie generously offered bagels and coffee in the morning, but I had to leave right away. The dog is very calm, friendly and fun to play fetch with.

    Natalina2016-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Connie was such a gracious host. My friends and I stayed at her place while visiting Ocean City, and it was nice being close enough to the beach but outside of the city. Connie stops at nothing to make sure her guests are comfortable. She brews amazing coffee and is just wonderful to talk to! My friends and I will definitely be back in the Fall!

  • This was by far the best Airbnb experience I've had yet! I arrived with my 5 yr old son and a friend and thought I'd just check in, drop things off, get dressed for the beach, and head out. I was wrong!! I was greeted by Catharine's warm welcome, shown to my room (which was very spacious and decorated lovely) and told to help myself to anything in the kitchen! My son was so content eating fresh peaches and sharing them with the horses, so I surprisingly decided to change the plan and just stay on the farm instead of going straight to the beach. Edna (the adorable, hospitable, sweet house-keeper) graciously drove to pick up my ordered food from a near restaurant because no one would even consider delivering food to me. She also made us a fresh breakfast in the morning with eggs she picked up the night before from her daughter's chickens!!!!! I was so stunned! I became good friends with Edna while staying there, and even tipped her generously for her generous hospitality and services for us! I was so in love with this place that I actually booked for another night the following day!! Young girls who work there were so kind enough to let Isaac drive us around on their golf cart to meet the beautiful horses (they have 40+ on site)!!!! Hands down, this was the best experience ever! I have told everyone I know about it and would rate this place a million stars if it were possible! YOU MUST CONSIDER THIS HORSE FARM! You will not be disappointed! I know I'll be returning!

Our home is situated at the end of dead end street. A sandy bottom in 4' of water off our pier makes it the perfect place to practice swimming in the Choptank. Our quiet 1.2 mile road can lead you to as much or as little running and biking as you need.
  • Cindy and Jim were excellent and made me feel right at home. I literally felt like i was coming home to visit my folks. Extremely welcoming and made it easy.

  • The Gilberts are absolutely fantastic hosts...they are incredibly welcoming and personable...we bonded quickly and they treated us practically like family. Their house is probably the best we could imagine for a triathlon or swim race (URL HIDDEN) right on the water, the view is stunning, the house is immaculate...we only wished we could've spent more time there and enjoyed some cold beverages with the Gilberts in the adirondack chairs on their dock. Thanks so much and we will try to stop in and say hi when we are back for Ironman Maryland (since it looks like you're already booked up!).

Our historic home is located on a country road surrounded by farmland, trees and lovely sunsets. It is an especially private place for peaceful reflection and friends. The house is a gothic style cape built in the 1750's (restored by owner architect). It has three separate period additions making it an interesting mosaic of architecture. The house was formerly used as a millers residence for a grist mill, now lovingly restored with modern amenities. The house grounds are occupied by numerous interesting outbuildings and gardens, fun to walk through with morning coffee. The house offers wrap around porches, terraces, outdoor fire, and fountain. Perfect for gatherings or just for browsing and relaxing. The Kitchen is a great place for morning coffee or evening conversation while guests prepare meals. The Dinning room is a welcoming place for up to eight people just off the kitchen with working fireplace. Our cozy Living room has many sunny windows looking over peaceful farmlands. It also has a brick radiant heated floor and a wood stove.

My place is close to Cambridge... IRONMAN. You’ll love my place because of the mature oak trees, hammock and nature.
  • Trevor (host) was quick to communicate from the beginning when we booked the house. He was very accommodating and flexible in all areas. The house was exceptionally neat and clean and organized ... beyond our expectations. We had four stay and very comfortably so (2 adults, 2 kids). The location was perfect for anyone in Cambridge doing either Eagleman 70.3 or Ironman Maryland. It's a quiet street and good for kids. We were in town for Ironman Maryland and I'd certainly contact Trevor again if we were coming back in the future. Super place ... super hosts!
