“Eclectic, trendy and hip part of Jackson that was featured in the movie, The Help. It has just about everything you would need: banking, drugstore, groceries, bakery, fitness center, dry cleaners, coffee shop, music store, wine/spirits, excellent food venues all within walking distance. Brent's Drugs is well known for their real soda fountain serving up burgers/fries, Babalu serves up some great tapas and margaritas, Sal and Mookies makes New York style pizzas and ice cream. If you are looking for more of a fine dining atmosphere, check out Walker's, Char or Bravos. Saltine is located in Duling Hall which was an old elementary school (Duling School) that had been closed for many years. The school was remodeled and the classrooms became home to some small businesses. Very quaint area that is a must to see. ”
