Park
“A great place for local fishing, the nature center is built on land that used to be part of Fort Chaffee. The center itself has some neat exhibits on the local animals that live in the area. Enjoy some great walking trails around the lake.”

“Friendly environment, lots of families, a place for kids to play and a walking trail that spans around the park. Beautiful at Christmas, as the City of Fort Smith decorates the entire park. Plus, they have train rides available (for small children and parents) when the weather is decent.”

“Garden, where you can talk with volunteers, see various garden areas from veggies, to children's fairy garden, and more. Nice place to wander on a pretty day. Ever changing with the seasons. Sometimes they have speakers and presentations. Maps for self-guide tour in the mailbox. Open during daylight. Free, but toss a few bucks in the donation box for this non-profit. ”
