Theatre
“The Fox Theatre, a former movie palace, is a performing arts venue located at 660 Peachtree Street NE in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, and is the centerpiece of the Fox Theatre Historic District. The theater was originally planned as part of a large Shrine Temple as evidenced by its Moorish design.”

“The historic Fox Theatre is one of Atlanta’s premiere venues for live entertainment. The Fox’s 4,665 seat theatre hosts more than 150 performances a year ranging from Broadway to rock to comedy to movies. In December 2009, Billboard Magazine ranked the Fox Theatre in Atlanta as “The #1 non-residency venue worldwide for the decade (5,000 seats or less).” In addition to our world-famous theatre, our spectacular ballrooms have hosted everything from Sweet 16s to weddings and corporate events.”

“More of an upscale take to caribbean fare. Drinks are fantastic. Food is super tasty. But don't mark this down if you want authentic caribbean food. It's got your staples (oxtails, curry goat, etc) but definitely not like grandma makes it. But still super tasty and super close to your location. :) ”

“Nobody really knows about this place. Located in the basement of the Georgian Terrace Hotel, the only exterior entry is located on North Ave. Look for the small P&P sign. Great pre or post show hangout if you’re headed to The Fox Theatre.”

Car Rental
“You can rent a car in midtown and return it to the airport with no one-way charge usually. This long established European firm is consistently cheaper than anywhere else, the easiest to get in and out, and the cars (mostly very nice European models with convertibles very popular) are always actually full of gas. Only issues I've ever had are that if you're returning first thing in the morning the attendant isn't always there precisely on time, so I wouldn't try to return it then if I were in a particular hurry. Always, always check your bill for correct mileage charges.”

“Music Midtown is a large music festival that was held in Atlanta annually from 1994 and is still active every September. During its original run, the festival ran on one weekend each year. The event drew in excess of 300,000 attendees per year during its peak years. Music Midtown started as a two-day event with three stages. It later grew to three-day event. During the years that Music Midtown had a three-day run, the event had six main stages. Each of these stages were typically sponsored by a local Atlanta radio station which were used to present dozens of bands playing a wide variety of musical genres.”
