“Woodward Park is only 3 miles west of our property and it happens to be the largest public park within our community. It is adjacent to the San Joaquin River, and was donated to the city of Fresno back in 1968. The CIF and CCCAA Cross Country State Championships are hosted here every November. It is also the home course for the Fresno State Bulldogs men's and women's cross country teams. Woodward Park also plays host to the Woodward Shakespeare Festival ("Shakespeare in the park") and has been performing for over 11 years and over 311 performances to date. This park also features a famous japanese gardens with many peacocks that roam the grounds. Definitely a perfect place to relax and take in the local beauty all around. If you are a runner or love to walk along designated trails, this park offers many miles of walking paths. Also if you enjoy biking, this park also has at least two BMX tracks for various skill levels. ”

Baseball Stadium
“For those of you who might be baseball enthusiasts, Fresno is the home of the Washington Nationals AAA baseball team at Chukchansi Park. Completed in 2002, this park is a city-owned baseball stadium located in downtown Fresno. Formerly the Grizzlies Stadium, this field was purchased by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in 2006 which is affiliated with the Chukchansi tribe. Tickets to these games are very affordable and this field always provides the best seating no matter where you are located within the stadium. If you happen to go on Tuesday's to watch a game, it is famous for it's Taco Tuesday's event. Great times for any fans or enthusiasts of America's past time. ”
