“Okay, this is a great piece of history also 15 minutes away. Established in 1853 this is Nevada’s oldest Thirst Parlor (AKA Saloon). It is sooo worth the drive to enjoy an ice cold beer and soak up some history. ”

“Nice outdoor patio and may also have live music. The food is not spectacular but stick to the wine and cheese beards with a bottle of wine. The best cheese and salami/meat selections anywhere! I always buy a few to bring home. ”

“Pretty pricey, can get very busy on the weekends. It has lovely surroundings and the oldest town in Nevada Genoa, which is very nice and charming, is nearby. They have 5 natural hot springs and 2 outdoor pools, plus steam rooms, saunas. There's a saloon-style restaurant, a bar, a cafe and a BBQ area. ”
