“Psarades is a beautiful village on the waterfront of the big Prespa lake. Don't miss the boat ride (just take warm clothes with you) to go and visit the monastic caves that date back to the 13th century. The small boat ride lasts about 20 minutes and you don't get out of the boat. The longer one allows you to go further to the monastery of Panagia Eleousa and climb about 200 steps to visit the monastery. It's definetely worth it. The best place to eat is the taverna "Sintrofia"at the end of the road, by the water. It is located at the end of the road. You can taste traditional local recipes and fish fresh caught from the lake. The portions are hudge so be careful not to order too much. ”

“Agios Achillios is a very beautiful island in the middle of the small Prepsa lake connected by a floating bridge to the mainland. It is nice to visit and walk all around it. There are the remains of an old Basilica dating back to the the 10th century. Enjoy the beautiful views to the lake and surroundings and on nice day relax on the grassy hills of the island. The tavern of Aghios Achilios serves good quality local recipes. It can accomodate a lot of people so sometimes it's a bit loud inside. But the again Prespa is not very touristy so it's never too bad. If you seat outside you can enjoy views of the lake and the famr right below. ”
