Car Repair
“If you would like to eat out before coming, feel free to get off at the earlier Greenwich stop (if car free). There is a Taxi stand at the Greenwich Train Station. Cos Cob Train Station is not listed in this google search so I cannot tag it but it is the closer option. Just stay on the train one stop past the Greenwich Stop to depart at Cos Cob. There is no taxi stand at the Cos Cob station but you can call Greenwich Taxi when you pass the Greenwich Station and they generally come in 5-10 minutes. Make sure to tell them that you are standing on the outbound from NYC side of the Cos Cob station (the side that does not have the little red station house).”

“A great little shop for vintage fabric and notions, and seamstress extraordinaire Terry Mumby is always fun to talk to. Go next door to Ruby's Closet for locally-made products.”
