Place to eat
“Enjoy the Original Chiangmai Khantoke Dinner Show The very first ever Khantoke Dinner Show was created right here at Old Chiangmai on 1970. It was started in order to showcase the traditional Northern Thailand, Lanna, culture. This has evolved over centuries and much of what you will witness here is timeless. Many of the dances were created in the last 150 years, the most recent in 1957 but they all have their origins in traditional dance that is very much older.”

“There are many things to buy. Recommend to go in the evening Before respecting the national flag When it was time to respect the flag, it was a very impressive event. People who walk to buy goods or vendors will stand up to respect the national flag at the same time. Like a standstill There are a lot of tourists, both Thai and foreign, visiting a lot of places to eat. If visiting the Wualai Walking Street, do not forget to visit Sri Suphan Temple, a temple that has the whole silver temple and is the first in the world. Very beautiful.”

“The Chiang Mai Saturday Market (or Wui Lai Market) is located to the south west of the old city opposite the Chiang Mai Gate. The Saturday Market extends for roughly 1km all the way down the length of Wui Lai Road. This is now a non-smoking market place. The Saturday Market is open every Saturday from 4pm till midnight. Like the Chiang Mai Sunday Market the road is closed to all vehicular traffic so you can browse the goods on display, bargain with vendors for a good price and wander freely around without traffic worries. ”
