“Rubio is a brunch/coffee place by day and pizzeria by night. I think they are best for pizzas which you can have in or takeaway and they also deliver. They often have music events on as well.”

“Alma's is our go place for brunch/lunch in Harlesden. Sofia is a wonderful host and the food is delicious and generous - I also think she serves the best coffee in town! Great for all your usual breakfast faves but she also makes wonderful cakes amazing homemade quiche and salad, Swedish meatballs and crepes! Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.”

“This is a lovely park, ideal for everyone. Lots of families and kids. There are pleasant paved walks around its perimeter and across it. You can walk or jog, even cycle if you like. Ideal for kids scooter too. There are free outdoor fitness/exercise machines, onto Longstone Avenue. You will find lots of people picnicking, when the weather is nice and just hang out or sunbath. There is a group of card playing men, which always lovely to see., quietly passing away the time. There is basketball hoops and soccer nets to throw or kick a ball around in. To one side, there is a newly refurbished cafe that serves food, hot and cold drinks, Ice cream. Not tried cafe since reopened. ”

“This lovely Art-deco building was originally a cinema. It's the coolest bar in the area and is quirkily retro-stylish. A great selction of craft beers and lagers and DJs at the weekend. Unfortunately, it's currently closed. Tragic! ”
