Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, right in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Wake up to the view of the dining room of a herd of horses that live in freedom, 2 pigs who make their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. There is therefore no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for enjoying a glass of wine together. From the apartment, you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water, where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The city of Sneek is a 15-minute drive, Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive.
