Places to stay in Hudson
This light filled apartment is located just three blocks from Warren Street's restaurants and galleries. Originally built in the 1920's, this recently renovated apartment features 2BR, 1BA, and a full kitchen.
You can see the Catskills on a clear day from the front bay window of this large second floor apartment. There are two bedrooms, each sleep two guests. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room which sleeps two, and guests can close that room off for privacy. Full kitchen with basic necessities. Drip coffee maker, French press, toaster, stove, pots and pans, oven and fridge. If you plan to do some cooking you should bring any food items you'll need as we don't keep them stocked. Sorry, the backyard is not for guest use.
Hudson has some of the best farm to table food in the northeast, which is what brought us here. Have dinner at Backbar (Zak Pelaccio's new spot), drinks at Or, and lattes at Moto.
  • Loved Annabel's flat! Superbly located and even bigger than expected. Great design and atmosphere.

Beautiful renovated carriage house with access to upstairs lounge space and courtyard. A secluded space indoors and out. Extremely convenient to the best Hudson has to offer. Eclectic mix of modern and Asian furnishing, tasteful and very comfortable.
This traditional carriage house is newly renovated into a beautiful two story living space. It's a hidden funky space that's close to Warren, yet close to everything. The physical address is 527 Warren, but, guests access this hidden gem off Cherry Alley. The spacious bedroom with a modest en suite 3/4 bath on the ground floor opens out to the private garden. High ceilings, exposed brick and lots of light make this a special place to wake up. The outside staircase will lead guests to the upstairs living room/lounge area equipped with a water cooler, coffee and tea maker and a mini fridge. A great place to relax in the evenings, play a record on the turntable or have a glass of wine out on the private porch. The Juliet balcony is a unique feature. The space is suitable for entertaining a few friends or having a business meeting. It is not a cook-in kitchen, just the basics: cold/hot water cooler, mini fridge, and Keurig beverage machine with a variety of coffees and teas. Asian, African and Modern art from the owners collection add to the beauty and charm.
Hudson is a beautiful and lively small city with a long and rich history. As we are located on Warren Street our guests have just a short walk to most of the restaurants, shops and galleries. A longer walk will take you to a park on the Hudson river. Above all, we hope guests find the time to unplug and take in all that Hudson has to offer for a minimalist, yet, invigorating escape. There is so much eating, shopping and exploring to do it will not fit into this space. Check out: www dot (URL HIDDEN) for a complete listing of all Hudson has to offer.
  • Sam's carriage house is the perfect place to stay in a great location right on Warren St. The decor of the place is beautiful and super comfortable. Nice touch with the turntable and vinyl selection too. Hudson is a great little town and I highly recommend Farmer and Son's great food & cocktails. Grazin also has a great burger & breakfast. When we return to Hudson we will definitely stay at the carriage house again.

  • first of all, well done sam.... i really loved the mix of modern, rustic and industrial in the two story loft space. it is really a unique space which is perfectly situated in downtown hudson (10 min walk from amtrak). check-in/check-out is seamless. the only potential drawback (for some, not me) is that there is no kitchen, but you are just steps from all the great coffee, shops, food, etc that hudson has to offer so who needs one! well stocked with coffee and tea and a fridge for anything else you may need. great sound system upstairs, too, with a record player and if you are into vinyl a great record shop just down the street. i will definitely try to stay here again....

    Brian2016-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed staying at the carriage house. Loved the city of Hudson and the location of the house was great! Loved that it was right near Warren Street, where everything is located! Enjoyed very much.

    Chelsea2016-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a terrific time at Sam’s Carriage House! We were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary & were looking to get out of Brooklyn for a few days. The Carriage House was the perfect spot for us, in a great location-within walking distance of all the Hudson magic and so cozy. The house was just as described with a great loft upstairs where we sipped on some whiskey & listened to music. Sam left a helpful list of local go-to spots & was very quick to respond. We really look forward to our next visit! -Sandra & Francis

  • Staying at this Airbnb will definitely up your experience in Hudson. Right in the middle of Warren Street BUT not ON Warren where you might hear some noise. You go down a pathway next to a bank down a hidden alley, and just steps away is Sam’s unique loft-like studio. It’s 2 separate spaces. Downstairs is similar to a hotel room with high ceilings - just a bed (uber comfortable with a down comforter) bathroom, ample space and hangers to hang your clothes, an armoire, and night tables on either side. I love that it’s so minimal because the owner’s personal belongings are not everywhere, it’s easy to find your own things, and it’s s (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) clean! As an added bonus, right outside is a table w chairs for outdoor chill time and upstairs is an even cooler space to hang out. Nice leather couch, Basquiat and Keith Haring paintings, a cold water cooler, a Keurig machine, and the best part of all - a turntable with the dopest records. If Sam is the one who handpicked these records, he has impeccable taste in music. Great place to hang for drinking a bottle of wine or whiskey (he has glasses for both) while listening to some good tunes. My husband and I have already made plans to come back and stay here. This place looked cool in the pictures but exceeded our expectations!!

  • The Carriage House is a very unique place right in the heart of Hudson. It has to be one of the best places in Hudson to stay.

    ben2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Such a fantastic space. It's so cozy and the decor is amazing. The upstairs area with the record player was the perfect spot to hang out in with some wine. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. Will definitely try to stay again!

  • This is a great place to explore Hudson without needing a car. Upstairs room is super fun and has a great sound system! If I ever return to Hudson I know exactly where to stay.

  • Stay at this place, asap!! Fantastic house with beautiful rooms and all the amenities you can want and then some. Ilja was so welcoming and literally could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. Guests are free to use the front and back porch, walk the grounds, hang out in a common room on the main floor and use anything on the island in the kitchen. The house is immaculate and decorated perfectly. Nothing over the top but beautiful touches all around the house. Paintings he had done adorn the walls and ads a great personal touch. He gave us a tour upon arrival and chatted with us before letting us enjoy the home. Later that day, 6 more guests arrived. We met them as they came in but other than that, I was surprised to not really hear them at all as we were on our own side of the house. You can interact if you chose to or you can be surprisingly by yourselves, even with other guests. Not enough can be said about this place and the host. My only regret was we. We're not able to stay longer! Cannot wait to come back!

    John2017-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • you cannot ask for better hosts than Ilja and Julius. Their home is beautiful. The art work in and around the property is so tasteful. That paired with the history of the place makes For a super charming experience. The master suite is perfect. Great bathroom with a satisfying shower. The bed and bedding is very comfortable. The place is meticulously kept clean. Just a totally chic and peaceful place to get away to. That's all.

    Rod2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • September 8 was our first stay with Ilja. We liked it so much that we returned on September 20. Our stays on both occasions were fantastic. Details are included in my second review.

  • Lovely place with easy access to many places in Hudson. A beautiful property, quiet and comfortable. Very easy check-in and check-out.

    Aaron2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • A great find in the Hudson Valley area! Room had a very comfortable bed and separate living room area, which really opened up the space. Check in was easy and friendly....recommended if you want to stay in this specific area.

    Timothy2016-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Ilja was very friendly and helpful and his home is beautiful! I would definitely stay here again.

    Samantha2017-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic accommodations! This two-room suite is truly luxurious—beautifully furnished, very comfortable bed, etc. And Ilja was a wonderful host—completely respectful of our privacy even when we were making use of shared spaces, but also accessible at all times to provide recommendations of places to eat/things to do and to provide us with things we needed (e.g. wine glasses, plates, coffee, etc.). He even made waffles on a rainy afternoon and left us a stack! The mansion is a very short drive from Hudson (but not easily walkable, so a car is required). I would definitely stay here again, and I will recommend it to friends and family!

  • Rowland was a great host and the space as really great!

  • This is a fantastic spot and an ideal way to enjoy Hudson. The house is in a perfect location - set back one block from Warren Street, steps to great restaurants, bars and shops. The house is clean, cozy and comfortable. The fireplace is a huge selling point in the winter, and there is a backyard and deck that look like they'd be a great place to relax in the summer. Rowland was communicative and checked in with a message during our stay to ensure everything was going well. Can't recommend this house enough.

    Cullen2016-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and Rowland was a great host. Very responsive.

Recently renovated 1840s home featuring Catskill mountain views, natural light, exposed beams, concrete floors, and modern comforts alongside cozy antiques. This quiet, private studio is just a three-minute walk to the Amtrak station, and steps to the hippest bars, restaurants and galleries in historic Hudson, NY. - City of Hudson Lodging Licensee #186.
Open concept one bedroom a block from the Amtrak station, and steps to the center of Hudson. 100% solar electricity, energy-efficient radiant heating, exposed original beams, polished concrete floors, air conditioner, private entrance with punch code lock. Abundant natural light from Southern facing windows. King-size bed and queen-size pullout sofa with Matteo linens. Patinated farmhouse sink (salvaged from a barn in Western New York), and fridge for morning coffees and last night's leftovers. Countertop oven available for use. We prioritize one of a kind pieces with character and beauty that are part of our history and story. This is an extension of our home, not a hotel suite.
We are located on Lower Allen Street, a block from the Amtrak station. The "main street" called Warren is two blocks North of us, and the main road in and out of town ("3rd Street") two blocks East - best used for day trippers, and explorations out of town, etc.
  • A brilliantly designed open space, perfect for a short stay in Hudson. 5 minute walk to the stores and restaurants / bars. Comfy bed & useful amenities. Thanks!

  • what a fabulous time! great location, pictures are accurate and Adam & RB were a breeze to work with, with almost no delay in correspondence. Loved the toiletries and the linens, shows that the hosts are detail oriented and care about their guests. We were so happy with our trip!

    Justine2015-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic hosts. Very accommodating to our needs and suggested local places to go.

    Lance2015-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • This space was perfect: distinctive, thoughtful, centrally located, and historic... a combination you cannot find in a hotel. We loved it.

    Emilie2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Adam and RB's place so much - it was exactly as pictured and just walking distance from the main street in town. Everything was perfectly clean and the local recommendations were so appreciated. This was my first airbnb experience and now the bar is set very high for my next stay. On my next trip to Hudson I would hope to stay at Adam and RB's place again.

    Stephanie2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Adams place is stylish, spacious and close to everything while still private. The kitchen is very minimal: just toaster oven and electric kettle. Adam was very quick to respond when we had a question about checking in.

    Rob2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Historic Hudson Hideaway was absolutely gorgeous - it was cozy, very clean, and like no place I've ever stayed. We felt right at home and almost didn't go back out to dinner because we were so happy just hanging out in this apartment. There was a nice guide suggesting various places to visit - coffee shops, restaurants, music venus, and also a map to show us where we were located in relation to the other spots in Hudson. Though it was a Monday and the "off-season" - it was quiet and some of the more "popular" or well-known venues were closed, I still had a great time and would absolutely return to Adam and RB Hammer's lodge!!

Summon your inner seafarer with our cheery, nautical-themed two-bedroom apartment, with gorgeous garden, and easy walking access to the shops and restaurants of Hudson's lively Warren Street, 3 blocks away.
Legend has it that this is an old Cape Cod house that was brought to Hudson when the whaling industry began to flourish. So we dubbed the upper apartment "Captain's Quarters" and had boatloads of fun bringing its nautical theme to life. A stylish master bedroom is decorated in soothing, seafaring tones of blue, and the bonus room with XL twin mattress gives you extra room for little ones or extra guests. The adjacent bathroom has both a shower and a claw-foot tub is perfect for luxuriating with a good book or a glass of wine. The apartment is comfortable and private, with top-notch finishes throughout, luxe linens, and a fully stocked kitchen perfect for whipping up a gourmet meal. Wander into the gorgeous garden and catch sight of the many different birds that pass through, or walk three blocks to the nearby Warren Street to enjoy lunch at one of many restaurants before you amble through shops ranging from antique sellers to organic toy stores to boutique perfumeries.
You're just three short blocks from Warren Street, the heart of historic Hudson. Once a bustling trading post and site of future president Martin Van Buren's law practice, Hudson has charm in spades. You'll find shops ranging from milliners to antique dealers to modern kitchenware stores. Have a cup at Verdigras Tea, or dine on anything from falafel to sushi in the neighborhood's burgeoning foodie scene (check out Swoon KitchenBar, where James Beard nominee Jeffrey Gimmel whips up fresh, local fare like soft-shell crab sandwiches with ramp aioli on his seasonal menus). With its bright storefronts and ambling pedestrians, the area is both quaint and bustling, overflowing with the infectious happiness of the locals who love where they live and work. We know you'll love it, too!
  • Perfect little getaway spot.

  • This cute apartment is directly within a couple blocks from Hudson's Main Street. Though the house was old and quaint. All the furniture, appliances, and accessories where new, making the stay pretty great. Though described as a whole house, this is a second floor apartment within a two story building. I recommend this spot for single adults, couples, and young couples!

The location was fantastic and just a a short walk to Warren St. Stephen and Sarah were also incredibly thoughtful hosts: they had great snacks waiting for us and thanks to Sarah's wonderful small batch shampoo, cleansers and other products, I even looked forward to my shower everyday!

  • Steve’s apartment was thoughtfully appointed, scrupulously clean, and totally perfect for my purposes (writing, writing, and more writing) and responses to questions were swift and generous. Really grateful to have stayed in this lovely space!

  • Stephen and Sarah's space is perfect. The groovy aesthetic welcomes you in and attention to detail (snacks in the kitchen, great bath products) make the overall stay cozy and comfortable. Plus, it's a short walk to downtown Hudson. We loved our stay and will return next time we're in the area. Thank you!!

    Simon2018-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in Hudson at Stephen and Sarah's apartment. The best of both worlds - a walkable distance to downtown and in a quieter location with view of changing fall leaves and deer making their way across the woods. We only stayed for a weekend, but would have be very comfortable for a longer stay - the kitchen was well appointed and living spaces were well designed and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and plan to go back for a longer trip in the future.

Two open and airy rooms in a sunny second floor apartment on a very quiet street, one block from main Warren St. The front bedroom has a queen sized bed and three large windows in the front bedroom. Perfect for 1-2 people, but more than 2 guests can also work if you don't mind being cozy! (I don't have an extra mattress, but you are welcome to bring your own air mattress, etc.) The adjacent private sitting room is a great place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee anytime, and there is a large desk for getting some work done. The shower is located outside of the guest suite in the host's apartment, but is open for guests to use anytime.
Hudson is unique, complex, multilayered...you never know what you'll find around the corner. Union St ( between 4th and 5th) is minutes from all Warren St shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and galleries. Ask me for off-the-beaten-path recommendations.
  • Michelle responded to my inquiry promptly. She was home when we arrived and welcomed us. The part of the apartment we had was light and airy and tastefully decorated with a large bedroom, a breakfast room/ office, and a half bath. To shower or bathe the rule was to text the host in advance as the full bath is in her part of the apartment. There was a heater if needed (we didn't) , a fan and an air conditioner. We were one block from a lively part of Warren Street. It was a quiet street the second night. It just so happened that the first night a neighbor decided to start July 4 fireworks early. This was a special situation. The breakfast and coffee was delicious.

    Lisa2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • The host canceled this reservation 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

    Elizabeth2015-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Michelle's apartment! The bedroom was large and beautiful and everything was super clean. It was also really great to have our own private half bath. Michelle was easy to communicate with and flexible when we needed to store our bags after checkout. Highly recommend this space for anyone visiting Hudson!

    Kristen2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's home is spectacular and the apartment was as described (probably better than described, actually!) She's thought of everything you could possibly need, and the location couldn't be better - less than 5 minute walk to Warren St. Fantastic experience all around.

    Adam2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great one-night birthday stay in Hudson. Michelle's place was super cute and cozy and an easy walk to great restaurants and shops. It felt like being at home while we were away...just what we were looking for!

    Amy2018-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, spacious room with excellent proximity to main street of Hudson. Recommended.

    Andrew2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Truly lovely accommodations! Plus Michelle was very helpful and warm. I felt very comfortable and at home. The house is centrally located and a quick walk to a number of great restaurants and shops. The room was beautiful and with the sitting room offered an amazing amount of space. Beautifully appointed with a real warm and inviting feel. Can't wait to come back!

    Sara2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very beautiful decorated and airy space consisting of two rooms and toilet. Even though you are in Michelle's apartment you have your own private space. Michelle is a lovely person who gave us tips about restaurants and everything we wanted to know. She stacked up the mini fridge in "our" living room with some local yoghurts and almond milk and placed croissants on the table in the morning before she left - so sweet. The location of the place is also great - walking distance to the main shopping street and all restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

If you would like to stay for an extended amount of time and this loft doesn't show up PLEASE write me cause it probably means someone is booked for a day or 2 during the time you'd like to stay and I may be able to upgrade them to another room! SO ASK!!! a 7 minute stroll to the top of Warren, this country craftsman 4 room schoolhouse erected in 1900 has been renovated into 750 sq.ft.lofts and is located in the midst of one of the most gorgeous historic cemeteries in all of America.
The cemetery that surrounds this Craftsmen 4 room School House is located in the midst of one of the most gorgeous historic cemeteries in all of America, and a short 15 minute walk to the Town square. Tailored after the cemeteries in Europe, it was created as a park to entice visitors. Many Hudson River School Painters made this their final resting place as well as famous inventors and titans of Industry. It is verily like walking through a 3 D history lesson.
I love that this place is a haven, a quiet place for contemplation, writing or artful pursuits and that it is a 10 minute walk to Warren street and all its delights!!! This place is also IDEAL for the athletic. There are miles of winding paths everywhere.... FOR OUR WINTER GUESTS: a 10 minute walk in Winter can feel more like an hour when it's bitter cold. Remind whoever greets you to show you the shortcut through the cemetery and think twice about not just getting a taxi to Warren. its only a 2 minute drive .... There are no bad places to eat but some of my favorites are Le Gamin Country for breakfast or Lunch (Ive never had a bad meal there and the ambience is wonderful). and for take out I love The Taste of The Caribbean, right down the hill on the Square next to the St Charles. It's the best bang for your buck. $15 for a plate of food you'll be finishing the next morning with your eggs ..Curry Goat, pulled or Barbequed chicken and Oxtail. SO good. BUT and THIS IS IMPORTANT: ask Anne Marie when you walk in, if she can accommodate within 7 minutes, and that you are in a hurry.. otherwise you might be there on Caribbean Time ;) There is also The Hudson Curry House if you like Indian... but it is on Fairview Ave, so you'd have to drive or cab it.. but it's only minutes away.
  • We enjoyed our stay at the house in Hudson. While Laura Ann wasn't there, we felt very welcomed by Leva. The space was as advertised and all of the necessary amenities were available.

    Drew2016-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Laura and Bird were waiting at the front door when we arrived, very welcoming and proud to show us this unique property. When can you stay in an old schoolhouse like childhood memories? and in the center of a tranquil cemetary with deer roaming thru the dusk? and in an art studio?!!!! Our studio was huge, comfortable and so ecclectic . Every need and want was provided, even coffee creamer in the fridge! Our puppy was welcome to stay, with a jar of doggie bones for him along with our crumb cake in the morning. Highly recommended.

    Susan2016-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We went to Laura Ann's house for my boyfriends 30th birthday weekend and couldn't have picked a better place! The space is so bright and peaceful, even on a dreary day. I have to say though, the most incredible part of our stay was Laura Ann's helping hands (as she was out of town while we were visiting). Thomas met us and not only picked us up from the train staion, gave us lots of information on Hudson and nearby hiking trails, but when my boyfriend found he'd been bitten by a tick before our departure, Thomas came by to help us properly remove the tick and make sure it wasn't becoming rashed. That's right, he came in person to PULL A TICK FROM MY BOYFRIENDS THIGH! It was the coolest, nicest and most surprising act I've ever see nfrom an Airbnb host. Thank you Thomas for everything and Laura Ann for picking such a remarkable friend to help care for the space.

    Cole2017-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first AirBnB experience and it was very different from my normal travel arrangements. The hosts were out of town and we were met by one of their lovely friends. I didn't think about a check in time because hotels are always ready so I hope my late arrival was not a problem. The space is very interesting, not my personal style but that was the idea for this trip let's try something new. Well this was new and cool and hip and artsy and I have come to the realization that I am none of those things anymore but it was fun to pretend for the weekend. The bathroom is kinda tight for a big middle age guy but that was really only a problem when a stomach bug had me spending special time in there. Overall this was a fun place to stay but not for everyone

    David2015-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Laura Ann's place was just as expected - really fun art, comfy king sized bed, amazing natural light, and a beautiful cockatoo to boot. The windows don't have curtains, but there were sleep masks on the nightstand when I decided to take an afternoon nap! The location is definitely spooky at night, as there aren't very many streetlights around the cemetery, but I survived. Laura Ann told us short cuts to get to the Main Street, as well as the best shops and food spots to check out. Would love to come back again! Thanks, Laura Ann!

    Sarah2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Laura Ann's place. The perfect setting for a fall trip upstate. She went above and beyond hospitality wise - even provided pound cake and helped with laundry! Highly recommend.

    Gracie2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Laura Ann welcomed us at the loft and introduced us to her beautiful bird while showing us around the building. We had a great time getting to know two of her delightful cockatoos before heading out to connect with friends. Laura Ann also encouraged us to visit Warren Street in downtown Hudson which we did the next day, enjoying ourselves greatly! Wonderful town. We especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant, Wasabi and the Camphill Store "Solaris"! Thanks, Laura Ann!

  • Laura and is a pleasure to deal with. She was very responsive and booking and was there within one minute of our arrival. The space is great giant windows and just simply a wonderful space to hang out in. The building is very close to downtown Hudson and there is a great walk in the cemetery. Loved it.

Stay a long weekend or a full week in our charming 1890's former captain's home in the historic riverfront village of Athens NY, directly across the river from the town of Hudson.
The house sleeps 4 people upstairs in two private bedrooms and 2 more in the living room with a convertible sleeper sofa. There are 2 full baths upstairs -- one is decidedly modern with a state of the art glass shower, while the other hearkens to the house's glory days and features a clawfoot tub with original brass fixtures. Downstairs offers a full cook's kitchen, dining area and living room centered around a Danish Morso wood burning stove -- plus a cozy front porch for your morning coffee and a decked outdoor dining area in the rear, with barbecue. We have the luxury of being situated on a double lot, so we have a large private/fenced garden and we also grow our own herbs and vegetables on our quarter acre. Privacy, comfort & adventures await! The new Sauna is available for an additional fee of $30 a day. Please let us know at the time of the booking if you are planning to use it. It's quite amazing by the way! Walking distance to Athens' restaurants and the riverfront park, and a short drive to the town of Hudson which features great shops and antiques stores, never mind fabulous restaurants and a famous music scene (as illustrated by Rolling Stone magazine just last year!). Skiing, hiking, fishing, and secret swimming-holes are also close by. You are a stone's throw from both culture and outdoor activities. Short transit to both the Berkshires and the Catskills. Other nearby attractions include a nature trail park at the Hudson waterfront just 5 minutes drive, the Olana state historic site, the Thomas Cole house, the Hudson-Chatham Winery, Old Chatham Sheepherding Co., Bard College, FASNY Firefighting museum, Clermont State Park and Spruce Ridge Alpaca Farm. During the season, pick your own apples at Love Apple Orchard; strawberries, raspberries or blueberries at Thompson Finch Farm; or choose from a large selection of local produce Black Horse Farm. Biodynamic produce is available at Hawthorne Valley Farm. There is an Amtrak station in Hudson 15 minutes away.

  • We recently stayed here and were able to book it last minute after wanting a break from the city. I was impressed by how quickly Sam responded and how smoothly the whole process went. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We were able to bring our two dogs and they enjoyed being able to run around in the backyard. The town is also adorable and we spent the day exploring the town of Hudson, which is across the river. I would definitely recommend going there as there isn't much to do in the town of Athens. The only issue we had was that their furniture in the living room wasn't very comfortable, but all in all, it was a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

  • We had a great time at the Hudson River Townhouse. It's a 10 minute drive to the main street in Hudson, where there are lots of restaurants, shops and cafes. We grilled out in the backyard, and sat outside on the front porch rocking chairs. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. I hope to visit again soon!

  • Super clean, super stylish, super cozy. A fantastic place to stay.

  • The house has an understated warm, welcoming, modern farm house vibe. We were very comfortable in the home and found the backyard to be heavenly! Our correspondence with Sam was very easy with quick turn around responses. We were even able to modify the dates of our stay very easily after we had already booked. Overall great stay and great, comfortable house!

  • Sam's house in Athens was an absolute pleasure to stay in. We wanted for nothing; enjoyed the fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, and modern bathrooms. Despite subzero temperatures outside we remained warm and cozy inside, huddled by the fire playing Trivial Pursuit. The brewery/restaurant nearby was only a block away, and all four of us (two couples) enjoyed a warm and comfortable New Year's holiday full of warmth, wine, and laughter. Sam's home was a real bargain and an absolute delight, highly recommended.

    Mike2014-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really loved the french press and cast iron pans for breakfast in the morning. They matched the rustic vibe of the house. Beautiful light in the front bedroom and bathroom. Athens is pretty but, along with Hudson, does not always have a lot going on during the week (many shops are closed varying weekdays). The fireplace is easy to use and came with the eco bricks already in it and tinder to get it started.

    andrew2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed my stay here. Sam was quick to respond to any questions and the house and neighborhood were perfect for a quiet getaway. Definitely hit up Crossroads Brewery just down the street for a pint while you're there.

  • John's place is great. Very well outfitted. Everything you need is there. The wood burning fireplace is definitely one of the best features. Sitting by the fireplace and doing absolutely nothing was just what was needed. It takes a little technique to get it going but John was very helpful with advice. The bedroom was well-heated throughout the night as well. Overall great location; remote enough yet far enough from it all. Hudson is close with good dining and shopping options. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely do it again.

    Ryan2015-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • John's house is amazing. My boyfriend and I had a perfect stay and John was very easy to reach with questions. He provided us with a huge list of suggestions for exploring the local area, which is incredibly picturesque. If you're looking to escape the city and stay in a quiet country home with great amenities (bbq, fire pit, huge kitchen, tons of natural light, awesome shower), this is your place. We hope to return!

    Daria2015-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • The house is not accessible on foot from town so you will need a car. The caretaker was very attentive and accessible through the entire trip.

    David2018-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is located in a beautiful area -- remote yet close enough to grocery stores, the brewery, and the town of Hudson. The beds were comfortable, the dining area is lovely, and the kitchen is well stocked. Just be forewarned that the house largely relies on the wood stove for heat -- it can take a while to heat up and requires wood to be added throughout the night. This was totally fine after we were there for 24 hours, but we had a chilly first night. Very cozy overall, just keep this in mind.

    Natalie2015-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • To start, John wrote a detailed intro to the place covering just about everything - getting there, fitness for our dog, wood stove operation, places to see and shop... much appreciated! House is hard to find - set back off the dirt road, no visible house number, unexpectedly modest on the outside. But inside is delightfully charming-rustic. Looks just like the Airbnb pictures. Kitchen works well. One big open kitchen-dining-living room so everybody can mingle. Comfortable beds. Fabulous huge bathroom! Calling the basement toilet a "half-bath" is a bit of a stretch. Takes some trial and error to get the wood stove working. John gave instructions, but there's still some magic involved. Breathtaking views to the east over the Hudson and hills beyond. We appreciated John's easygoing attitude - few do's and don'ts, just common sense. All-in-all, a great place to gather and relax!

    Peter2015-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • True to its title, the farmhouse, nestled in the woods on a quiet, off-the-beaten path street, is charming and the perfect relaxing retreat. It's lovingly appointed with interesting details, a range of books, and lots of kitchen amenities. Opportunities for day trips abound (Hudson, Saugerties, Rhinebeck, Woodstock...) but it's even better for unwinding (even though the Internet connection is strong and tempting...).

    Jacqueline2018-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great house, rustic and quiet. And what a great shower !!

    Richard2015-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • John's place is simply charming with the most amazing view of Hudson! It is beautifully decorated with wonderful vintage furniture and fixtures. I could have slept in his bathroom! We spent a long weekend in the Catskills for my finance's birthday and had an amazing time. The house is clean, spacious, and the wood burning stove made it extra cozy. We stayed in and cooked dinner a few nights as the kitchen was well stocked with spices and utensils. John was also a great host and provided us with an extensive list of recommendations for dinner, sightseeing, grocery shopping, etc. Communication was smooth and he made himself very accessible for inquiries regarding the house. I would definitely stay at John's place again.

Private flat in a Queen Anne Victorian located 2 blocks from Warren Street. Elegantly appointed with all the amenities one could need on their stay. Toasty warm.
You have your own entrance and access to the back yard. there is a full kitchen and a wonderful claw foot tub. everything you need to cook and live is provided. If you are staying for an extended period of time there is access to the washer and dryer. the location is walking to all in Hudson.
The neighborhood is 2 blocks off Warren Street. It's close to everything and walking distance to all. The train station is 5 blocks away. My neighborhood is up and coming. I compare it to Brooklyn 5 years ago. Not for the faint at heart as there are a melange of neighbors (which is why I love it).
  • Sweet little apartment conveniently located. The place smelled amazing when we arrived thanks to the fresh flowers in each room. A wonderful place to stay in Hudson.

    Leela2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cute apartment and appears quite like the pictures. The bed is comfortable, like other reviewers stated. The kitchen has everything you need. The apartment is clean. It's location is fine for getting around on foot in Hudson. The neighborhood appears sketchy, on the surface, but the people are friendly. I lived in Hudson 25 years ago, though, so I know and enjoy that type of neighborhood. It is a ground level/basement apartment. Never opened the windows, just didn't feel that comfortable doing so. Could not get the back door open, it catches on the floor, so there wasn't much chance at fresh air and it's a bit musty. There is only a curtain that covers the stairway leading to the upstairs of the house, just off where the bed is. It kind of freaked my boyfriend out, but to me not a huge deal though worth noting. It was very anonymous, never saw Claudia but also didn't seek her out. It is a very practical Pied-a-terre.

    Holly2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in Hudson. The pied-a-terre was an easy walk from the train station. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. Claudia was also very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We'll be back.

  • Claudia's home was very charming! 2 blockas away from the main strip and close to the train, made this place very convenient. Very cozy bed & netflix were a major plus!

    Brittany2015-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Claudia has a great little place. It has all the amenities necessary to hunker down for a cozy, snowy winter's weekend. It was a little chilly, though there is an additional space heater that was helpful, and Claudia was very responsive about turning up the heat when requested, since it's not controlled from the apt. Loved our weekend in Hudson at her place! Thanks Claudia!

    V2016-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Claudia's place was perfect. I had some initial trouble getting into the apartment (my fault due to not reading instructions carefully), and Claudia replied to my message instantly and helped me. The apartment itself is sweetly and warmly decorated, and so comfortable. It stayed cool despite record heat.

    Caitlin2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully put together space, a lush and comfortable bed, clawfoot tub, lovely grassy backyard for our pups to enjoy--everything was wonderful. Claudia provided an excellent guest packet with tons of information, as well as good coffee, so we had everything we needed for a full, gorgeous weekend in Hudson.

  • Stylish spot very close to the main strip in Hudson. High recommended.

    Chris2018-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Carol and Walter were terrific. Their place was exactly what we were looking for. Very roomy and comfortable and just a short block from the heart of the Warren St business/shopping district. Loved it. Would definitely go back.

    Rob2016-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a perfect stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated with all new appliances, tile, paint etc. it was immaculately clean, in the center of town, and very private. It was quiet and relaxing, exactly the type of space we needed to escape from the city. I look forward to going back soon. Carol was the perfect host, there if we needed her, thorough in her explanations, and thoughtful with the creation of space. She even stocked the fridge with some essentials, which was above and beyond any other Airbnb experience I've ever had!

Private Room / Private Entrance / Private Bathroom - full shower Ground Floor Studio Amenities: Mini-Fridge, Coffee-maker/coffee, etc. included, Microwave, Toaster oven, Lock/safe, SmartTV (Hulu and Netflix), Wifi, COOKIES! Up-and-coming Hudson street....two short blocks to center of town. PET-FRIENDLY! Drag queen owned and operated, and lives on premise. This space is registered with the City of Hudson License Number 151, PIDN: L10040. A 4% Lodging Tax is included in your room rate.
Private Entrance, Private Full Bath within walking distance to all of Hudson! This is a BUDGET space in the transitional part of town - clean and comfortable and a short two-block walk to all that Hudson has to offer. This is a space for people who enjoy their privacy - with a private entrance and a private bath. If you need anything, text me, I live upstairs with my two pups. The space is located on State Street between 3rd and 4th, around the corner from Club Helsinki and a stone's throw to Warren Street. Use the park two doors down to walk to the staircase and down to Warren Street - two short blocks, a few minutes away. Queen-sized bed. The room is approximately 15' x 18'. The "history" of the space: During the Revolutionary War, the British attacked Nantucket and stole the whale oil. The Quaker whalers were like, 'Forget this, we're outta here!' They bought land in upstate New York and figured, 'Hey, we're traveling thousands of miles on the ocean getting these whales, what's another hundred miles up he Hudson River?' It's a whaling town in upstate New York, and that's why you'll see whales on the signs. They picked up everything and moved and founded Hudson - including (and this is debatable) their HOUSES!! (At least their STYLE of Nantucket/Cape Cod box houses with a second floor of eyebrow windows.) This house is called a "floater", floating over on a whale boat from Nantucket. It's around 200 years old. You're staying in the old kitchen (heat rises to warm the rest of the house) and you'll find a bread oven behind the latched panel. Totally renovated in 2015. Radiant heat coils are under the cement floor. Hot Water on-demand. Original wood panels and new bathroom. Original stairs showing 200 years of wear and tear. Enjoy!
State Street is an up-and-coming Hudson street, similar to what most of Hudson was like about fifteen years ago, prior to all the renovations. I feel safe walking around this neighborhood, it's a small town. This is a simple, comfortable space. There's a little park two doors down that will take you to the staircase and two short blocks to the middle of Warren Street and the Opera House, making it an ideal central location. Shop up and down beautiful Warren Street - go out to Club Helsinki around the corner! Most of Hudson is within walking distance - restaurants, bars, shops! There are at least a half-dozen restaurants within a two block radius and many more in the rest of town.
  • Convenient and well designed studio, with (obviously) a great location. Rich / Trixie has been very reactive and generous with advises (for cool restaurants and bars around). And one may not overstate how delicious his cookies are ;)

    LetsgetSirius2016-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time in Hudson and in Trixie's Bed, Bath & Biscotti. The ideas for restaurants and bar were great and the cookies were delicious.

  • We loved our stay at Rich/Trixie's hip and cozy room. It had just about everything we were hoping for and more. Super close to the main attractions in Hudson and Rich/Trixie was very helpful in making recommendations for places to visit. The cookies were delicious! Would definitely stay again.

    Christina2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The place was on the small side, but since it was very intelligently appointed and laid out it felt like the perfect size. We had quite a comfortable stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Fully renovated one bedroom apartment with private entrance located 2 blocks from Warren Street, half a block from Club Helsinki. It's quiet, designed with you in mind, with everything you need for as restful a stay as you wish.
Newly renovated ground floor apartment in a sweet townhouse built in 1850. It is conveniently located both to explore Hudson as well as the surrounding countryside. Your private entrance is on State Street, framed by cherry trees. The bedroom, with queen-sized bed, walk-in closet, and full bath is in the middle of the house so it's quiet and peaceful. The kitchen area comes equipped and ready for easy meal prep. It is stocked with coffee, tea, basic condiments and more.
I love my neighborhood! I love my neighbors! I've lived here 8+ years now. It's off the beaten path, but only 2 blocks to Warren, Hudson's main street. There is a slim, very designed and well lit park that makes access to Warren Street an easy and interesting thing. Warren Street itself has a wonderful array of shops from antiques and galleries to some amazing food and great coffee - indeed, the bounty is spreading to addresses off Warren. Club Helsinki is about half a block away. Businesses that take care of basic needs are also close at hand.
  • Great place! Beautifully appointed with fun and artistic decor. Rodney clearly has put time and effort into making the apartment just right. Centrally located just a couple blocks from the main drag on warren street. Would not hesitate to book again or recommend to others!

    Martha2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Rodney's place was very short, but overall very good. Rodney's place is centrally located and a short walk to the main strip on Warren Street. Street parking was super easy by the apartment both during the day and around 11pm. The neighborhood where the house is located is fairly quiet and seemed very safe during our stay. Walking to/through certain parts of Hudson seemed like it could be somewhat sketchy but that is more about the town than the location of Rodney's place. If you're going back and forth to Warren St you'd be fine, in my opinion. The apartment was tastefully decorated and had everything you'd need for a stay. The only thing of note though was that the apartment was somewhat cold. Rodney had heaters set up which kept the bedroom warm enough, but the living area was pretty cold. Rodney was super helpful with recommendations and very quick to respond to questions and problems. I would definitely recommend Rodney's place, and only wished we'd visited when it was a little warmer than 10 degrees!

  • Centrally located apartment in Hudson! Great place!

    Carli2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay. Private, comfortable welcoming and easy. Highly recommend.

    Peter2016-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was charming, clean and had some beautiful artistic touches. We appreciated that Rodney was a communicative and friendly host--and he had some great recommendations for things to do around Hudson!

    Elizabeth2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Rodney's place is so amazing! Central to all the great shops and restaurants on Warren and a beautifully curated home. Rodney was also so warm and helpful with planning our itinerary - with great knowledge and suggestions of the area!

  • Absolutely charming place. Felt very welcome, even with a three year old son likely stomping on the second floor floorboards quite early in the mornings. Jennifer and Wolfgang greeted us upon arrival. The space was extremely clean and stylish. Exactly what we'd hoped. Neighborhood is just off the main drag and felt safe, and nearby parking was always available.

    Clare2014-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Six Ten was perfect! Jennifer is an excellent host - she gave me a warm welcome and great info about Hudson. The apartment was clean, cozy, quiet, and beautiful. Great location - walkable to everything in Hudson. I highly recommend the Six Ten Inn.

    Erin2015-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer and Wolfgang's place is so beautiful and peaceful! Jennifer greeted us and had information about Hudson and made us feel very at home. She was very kind to us throughout our stay and attentive. The apartment itself is spacious and full of light, the kitchen is well-stocked and the bedroom was so cozy! We really enjoyed our weekend away from the city and got just the escape we needed, we would definitely recommend the place to others looking to visit Hudson. Thank you!

    Elena2015-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying the the 6 ten inn for a long week end. We were attending a wedding hosted at the pocket book factory. Jennifer and Wolfgang are welcoming, and payed a lot of attention to our comfort. The apartment is spacious, we were 2 couples. 1 bedroom is very large and the second is small. The kitchen has everything you need to cook all the nice products we got from the farmer's market across the street.

    Sebastien2014-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place was extremely clean, spacious, and looks just like the photographs. Jennifer & Wolfgang made it easy for us to check in and out, provided all the information needed, and were friendly. While we did not have much time to actually explore Hudson, they also provided a lot of information about what was going on in the area as well.

    Emma2016-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer and Wolfgang are very kind and attentive hosts. Jennifer even left out some toys for my two-year old to play with! The apartment is cozy and neat and walking distance from almost everything. We would definitely consider another stay the next time we're in Hudson.

    Anthony2015-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer and Wolfgang were really great. Kind and thoughtful hosts, accommodating a late arrival and flexible on checkout. The apartment itself was equally great - definitely the best place we have stayed OMG many times in Hudson (including better than the B&Bs we have tried). Comfortable, simple, clean, bright, welcoming, and has character. Strongly recommend.

    James2014-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer and Wolfgang were wonderful hosts! They were quick to respond to any questions, flexible as to the checkout time and were gracious in sharing information related to Hudson. Also, the apt was clean, spacious and not at all drafty. I would definitely stay with them again!

  • We loved our stay in Athens! This house is within walking distance of a brewery and a few restaurants. Highly recommend it if you're visiting the area.

    Sara2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, spacious home. Serene space with nice outdoor space. I'd stay again!

    Christina2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in the house with friends for a local wedding and the house was a perfect retreat for us during our small amount of downtime! It was clean, comfortable and spacious. Bedrooms were comfortable, a bit warm if the night air doesn't cool down but fans are provided! If you were self-catering it seemed like it would have everything you need. The patio and back yard are lovely too. We all agreed we would like to come back and stay in the house again and have more of a chance to explore Athens and the river, since we were too busy to do much sightseeing on this trip! There is a very nice brewery/restaurant in walking distance, plus a brand new bistro. The Hudson river is a quick walk away. The surrounding area is lovely and full of places to see and things to do. It's probably best to have access to a vehicle while you are staying here, although you could manage without one - there is a local cab company. I have a three year old who didn't come with us but I feel like this house would be appropriate and safe for kids with common sense supervision by parents.

    Bethany2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very lovely house filled with well-chosen books and elegant touches. No complaints about any aspect of our stay.

    Anya2016-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great spot. Huge house with great decor and library, a very equipped kitchen for us to cook in. Nick was very responsive and helpful. The huge enclosed backyard was a nice bonus as we were travelling with a dog. The town of Athens is a close drive to Hudson and features a well-known brewery with decent pub grub. The only downside was not being able to use the washer/dryer since they were going through a repair. Would definitely come back.

    Max2015-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • I can't wait to return to Nick's place. I loved the neighborhood and enjoyed walking around. It was an easy drive to Hudson as well.

Richard is accommodating, helpful, and hilarious- one of the best hosts I've met. And he makes a great take away coffee :)

The description is very accurate about this room. It is clean, relatively spacious for someone coming from the city, and the private bathroom is two steps away from the bedroom.

    Jiaming2016-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hudson Style was exactly what my Girlfriend and I were looking for in Hudson, NY for our quick weekend away. Richard made us comfortable with morning coffee and tea ready when we awoke. The house was beautiful and inviting with great artwork to spend time. Also, very close to the train station, which was a huge plus. The room was exactly as shown and very comfortable. Richard gave us tips on restaurants to try and where to explore. We were there for an event that kept us out late and Richard was very understanding about our late returns at night. Hudson was a fun town to explore and with enough time it is easy to see all that interests you and have a few quality meals on top. Highly recommend the town and highly recommend Hudson Style. Look forward to our next trip, Sean

  • Fantastic find! Great location, comfy, beautiful, little extras to make you feel welcomed. Beautiful grounds to explore, very close to downtown shopping/eating ... as well as historical sights and beautiful hikes. Our only snag during our stay had nothing to do with the House ... but taxi services (local/uber/lyft/etc) are very scarce, so best to have your own transportation sorted out before your trip!

    Bridgette2018-07-24T00:00:00Z

  • Julia and Juan's garden house was perfect for our weekend getaway with our dog. The house was just as advertised, as it had all the amenities promised and was accurate to pics. Extra bonus was that it was dog friendly, as they included little details like dog beds and bowls and a yard for running around. The hosts were not onsite, yet extremely accessible for any questions we had along the way, but we did not encounter any issues. They were also very flexible with check out. The only small precaution we would give is that while the house is super close to charming Warren Street (shops, restaurants, galleries), the neighborhood felt a bit rundown. However, the house itself was lovely and worked out great for us.

    Jenny2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Juan's place was amazing. It had everything you could possibly need. The directions to the listing were very clear and they provided a very helpful guide for the neighborhood and surrounding attractions. I will definitely be going back for another stay in the summer.

  • Great location!! Walk everywhere, no need for a car. Home was very clean and beautifully decorated. Soft bedding! Would not suggest this if you're a tall couple as the bed is full size.

  • We loved the place! The house was great, quiet and close to the main drag. We can't wait to return!

    Billy2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Juan's apartment was perfect for our girls weekend in Hudson. It was less than a two minute walk to Warren Street and you can see the Saturday farmers market from the front door - definitely recommend going if you are there on a Saturday. Super convenient to get to things in Hudson and the surrounding areas but also incredibly cozy to snuggle up in the apartment. Their communication was also excellent. Would certainly recommend staying here or at one of their other Hudson properties - they all look lovely!

    Colleen2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a perfect stay at Julia's house. Every detail has been considered and we felt right at home. The location is perfect, just a block from Warren Street. We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying a glass of wine. It was a great getaway!

    Rebecca2016-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town for a wedding at Helsinki Hudson and this location was perfect for walking to the venue and to the restaurants on Warren st. Julia was super flexible and let us add more guests- much appreciated!

    Megan2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Juan were on top of everything. They responded to any questions we had and the check in/check out was extremely easy. We were there on the weekend so parking across the street in the lot was super easy! I found the space to be very calming and they did a great job decorating. Also, the pillows are insanely soft which I loved. If you are looking to stay in Hudson I would definitely recommend staying here!

    Matthew2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Juan and Julia were super responsive and patient when I asked the same question twice! No problems at all.

    Nancy2016-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Julia and Juan's. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this air bnb because of it's proximity to Warren, because it's very clean and well-equipped, and super cute. Thanks!

Finely redone three bedroom townhouse in the heart of downtown Hudson, steps away from the galleries, restaurants and shops of Warren Street. Garden/patio and plenty of modern features enhance the allure. Ideal weekend getaway or longer term hideaway.
The house was built in the late 20th century and has been thoroughly restored and redecorated. Beautifully decorated with a style both antique and modern, you will feel at home as if at once in a gentleman's club and a country cottage. All of the bedrooms are on the second floor, so accessibility requires walking up stairs. There is a half bathroom on the ground floor, just off of the kitchen. French doors open up to the garden, through which you can easily walk out a back gate and be on Warren Street in about 30 seconds.
  • This place should be a 'must' on anyone's trip to Hudson. From the time I booked to when I checked out, Mike was attentive, helpful and communicative! From offering to get balloons blown up and delivered ahead of time for the birthday we were celebrating, to recommendations for where to eat, to sharing full weekend calendar of events to ensure we didn't miss a beat - Mike went above and beyond as a host....not to mention how gorgeous the house was! We couldn't stop talking about how much we loved every detail. We walked in to surround sound music and a wonderful scent throughout the entire home. Linens were pristine + freshly pressed, lighting is abundant and breakfast snacks were so thoughtful. The home is equipped with so many tools for anyone and everyone to enjoy - from wonderful cutlery pots + pans for cooking, to board games and blankets to snuggle up in, we loved everything about it. Location was perfect as well, only a block away from Warren St. Staying here will make you a true believer in AirBnB!!!

    Kate2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mike made us feel so welcomed! Left us maps a note and a bottle of wine! He had games and great ideas of places to go around Hudson. We could always reach him by text and he had so much info to share.

    Julie2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Mike's beautiful home. It was clean, amazingly appointed, and super close to all the shops, eats, and drinks. Mike was extremely helpful and responsive. He gave us so many recommendations and made us feel right at home. He thought of everything. It was perfect!

    Ashley2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Mike's place and the overall experience in Hudson was perfect. His home is designed impeccably down to every detail that will keep you inside more than exploring the great town it's in. And as a host Mike was extremely helpful, easy to contact but not over bearing in any way. Great, great place to stay

    Logan2016-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Mike's home is absolutely amazing and even better than the pictures (which is hard to believe). He was a fantastic host and so thoughtful with every detail. The entire process was seamless and we loved all the local recommendations. Would highly recommend his place to anyone I know. Will definitely be back!

    Seagren2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • A place you want to keep coming back to, a place to share with family and friends; Mike's place is a gem amongst the many places to stay within the town of Hudson.

    Ryan2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Mike has a beautiful home in the center of Hudson, that is a perfect base for discovering Hudson or the Hudson Valley. Mike was clear, helpful and friendly, making it a really easy and relaxing experience. I couldn't recommend staying at Mike's place more highly!

    Daniel2017-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mike’s home was an absolute delight! The townhouse felt like a top of the line boutique hotel with all the advantages of a home! His home was also gorgeously appointed and very welcoming. Mike also was an amazing host as he left us a handwritten greeting, snacks & breakfast items, and a list of the many things to do in town. I can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was — thanks again for a perfect place to experience the quaint town of Hudson.

A studio apartment one block to the heart of Warren Street There is off street parking at the rear of the house.
A separate, private unit on the first floor with its own entry. It is a fully functioning apartment with a kitchen, range and beautiful bathroom. More than enough for any overnight stay, but equipped to make longer stays comfortable. Prices upon request for various times of the year.
Start your visit to Hudson in this bright sunny studio apartment 50 steps off Warren Street, the town's most famous avenue. Turn right out your front door, walk past the garden of fruit trees and there it is. Go right or left for a mile in either direction for antique displays, gourmet foods, galleries, restaurants, small shops and fine historic houses From May 1 to November 1, the Farm Market offers fresh local produce. Furniture for sale can be found in the warehouses across from the Amtrak Station (a great way to arrive by the way). At the lower end of Warren is the Hudson River the water highway that enticed Henry Hudson in the 1600s to search for the elusive Northwest Passage. Close your eyes at midnight coming to of the Half Moon pu and maybe glimpse the eponymous ship headed north on the tides. If your feet tire, grab a French pastry and coffee and sit in the fruit tree garden to relax. For evening entertainment, alongside smaller pubs and eateries, try Club Helsinki (see their website) for live entertainment only 1/2 block away, or Time and Space Limited for indie movies, also within walking distance. This is your spot for the comfort, charm and informal character reflective of this old New York village.
  • A lovely room, just off the main Warren Street: an excellent location. Everything we needed (and extra) was provided. Would stay again.

    Laura2015-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place! Great location as it's one block from Warren Street and right near Helsinki Hudson where we came to see a show. Place was very quiet, clean, toiletries and such were all taken care of. If I make it back up to Hudson for a weekend I'm definitely staying here again. I can't think of a single negative which is a rarity.

    Stephen2015-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Arthur was a gracias and flexible host! He was very accommodating to us even when we were delayed in arriving. The apartment is stylish, clean and warm. We very much enjoyed our stay there! The apartment is central to all the happenings downtown, for which Arthur so expertly recommends restaurants, galleries and attractions. Highly recommend!

  • Fantastic host and very comfortable, clean studio. Not to mention, incredible location super convenient to everything in downtown Hudson! Would highly recommend.

    John2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Arthur was easy to coordinate with - and while we actually didn’t meet him in person, he made the check-in/check-out process easy. Location couldn’t have been better - just a few steps from Warren street and plenty of food/entertainment options. This is our second winter trip to Hudson but we look forward to a spring/summer trip and will try to book with Arthur again!

    Casey2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Arthur's place was just wonderful. It was everything we needed, simple and to the point but warm and welcoming and very cozy.

  • Vlad's place is perfect for a Hudson visit. It's cozy, clean and just steps away from great restaurants and bars. Vlad offers an easy check-in/out, is easy to contact and provides all the necessary info and tips on the town. I highly recommend staying here.

    Nicole2017-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Vlad's place was accurate and spotless. We really enjoyed the decor and we had some fun with the amazon "Alexa" echo, which was playing tunes for us when we arrived. Many lovely little details from two bottles of water and chocolates to the folded over toilet paper. Very close to the Main Street. Also check in was very easy. The one thing I would say is the bed/pillows/linens could be a little more comfy for the price point. Would definitely stay again, thank you Vlad!

Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on the private waterview deck overlooking the historical district, Catskill Creek and Hudson River. Feel free to walk to restaurants, the Historic Catskill Point or the adjacent park right on the Hudson.
Located in the adorable town of Catskill, it has the feel of a small town, a waterfront town, and it's an easy commute from NYC or Long Island.
Steps to restaurants, shops, Dutchman's Landing Park, The Historic Point, Port of Call Restaurant, Catskill Creek and the Hudson River. By car 3 minutes to Thomas Cole Artist Home, 10 to Warren Street in Hudson, 3 minutes to Ramshorn-Livingston Sanctuary and 15 minutes to Kaaterskill Falls.
  • We had a fantastic time here! The apartment was just as described - bright, clean, and a perfect amount of space for a weekend getaway. Alyson was super communicative and offered recommendations for some great local restaurants. The deck was definitely our favorite part - we loved having our morning coffee looking out at the water!

    Alice2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • This charming apartment in Catskill was the perfect place for my sister and I to hold our writing retreat. Everything was beautifully arranged, with many thoughtful little details that made our stay comfortable. The deck was so lovely to sit on and watch the boats sail down the river, and there were delicious muffins with butter, and cream for our coffee, waiting for us in the fridge. It's on a quiet street, and conveniently located; we were able to have dinner in Hudson, and walk around Catskill. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

    Kat2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great apartment with beautiful & relaxing views of the river. We stayed for a long weekend and did lots oh hiking. It was perfect for a relaxing yet local getaway. I highly recommend!

    Holly2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! The design was spot on. The kitchen was beautiful and we love the coffee making appliances. he best was sipping coffee on the deck in the morning.

  • Our stay was wonderful! The apartment is so clean and all the details are well thought out. Alyson was easy to get in touch with and gave us great recommendations.

  • Beautiful apartment in a central location.

    Isabelle2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • I came into the Catskill area for a weekend wedding near by and was just looking for a small place I could crash at. What I got instead was a clean, beautiful space with everything I needed for my stay and more. The place has everything you may need, including a washer and dryer, full kitchen, cable, a/c, open space and a beautiful deck facing the lake across the street. There was also easy parking and it was in close proximity to restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is beautiful and private, and although I didn't get to meet my hosts, they were kind enough to leave me the key ahead of my arrival, and checked in to see if I was enjoying my stay. I'm really grateful to Todd and Alyson for opening their doors and making my stay much better than what I was hoping for - I would definitely book this place again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Best, Rod

    Rod2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was clean, spacious, and very well-decorated. Communication with Alyson was easy, as was check-in. Being able to watch the water flow by from the porch was wonderful, as was being able to walk into Catskill. Thank you!

Step back in time to the days of speakeasies and prohibition at our 1BR, 1BA apartment that mixes modern conveniences with antique pieces. It sits one block from popular Warren Street, so you can easily walk to shops and restaurants. Bring your furry friend too, as we're pet friendly! From couples to weekenders to artists, this apartment is great for all kinds of travelers, immersing them in a piece of history.
Once lined with speakeasies and brothels, Columbia Street was a place where the liquor flowed secretly behind closed doors. Back then it was called Diamond Street and our apartment pays homage to that bygone time. Decorated with antiques from the 30s and 40s, our Hudson apartment transports you back in time while still offering modern conveniences. Head into the inviting living room, decorated with treasures from near and abroad, including an working gramophone replica and unique prohibition beer bottle light. Sink down into the new comfy couch or curl up in the leather chair with a good book. The large ottoman is the perfect spot to put your feet up or play board games. The neighborhood is full of amazing restaurants, but if you want a quiet night in, the fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Sleep like a baby on the brand-new full-size XL mattress in the cozy bedroom. The bed has a little more length making it extra comfortable for taller people. Getting ready for the day is easy in the renovated bathroom offering tub and shower combination and single vanity. You’ll get access to the huge backyard where the kids and dogs can run while you grill up dinner and relax.
The home sits one block from Warren Street, full of boutique shops and delicious restaurants. No matter the time of year, events abound in town including art shows, concerts and theater productions. From antiques to art galleries, jewelry to vintage clothing, you can shop-till-you-drop at the numerous stores in town. Foodies will rejoice over gourmet restaurants by well-known and up-and-coming chefs. You can also lunch at a quiet café or check out the food truck scene. Take the scenic roads out of town and tour a local farm, where they grow and raise everything from fresh flowers to organic vegetables to grass-fed beef cows. Numerous hiking trails allow you and your furry friend to get some fresh air and take in the gorgeous countryside scenery.
  • We enjoyed our stay on the second floor of a multi-unit apartment building. This apartment is ideally located near Warren St., and near some great restaurants (Grazin' Diner, Lil' Deb's Oasis). The bed was a bit springy for my liking but other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

    Jenn2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Juan were very kind, and the apartment is clean and well-located. We were a little confused as to which apartment was ours when we arrived (it's the one at the end of the hallway), but that was the only tiny logistical hiccup. Overall, a very charming place and VERY well-situated for exploring Hudson, a town we love and come back to as much as we can -- we would definitely stay here again!

    Chelsea2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • A stylish and comfy apartment. All you need to cook a quick meal or breakfast was in the kitchen. Quiet location yet 1 block from all the things to do on Warren St. Easy parking out front or in the municipal lot across the street. The record player was a nice touch, as well as the coffee. Juan and Julia were very quick to respond and communicate. A great stay!

    Tony2018-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location just a block from Warren. Half a block to the farmer's market! Juan and Julia provided a greate guide that answered all our questions about the stay. Easy check in/out, very clean, exactly as pictured. Would stay here again.

  • My wife and I visit Hudson pretty regularly and this was definitely one of the better value places we've stayed in town. I was surprised by how spacious the kitchen and living room were! The space was kept very clean and is cozy and well decorated. We'll definitely be returning!

    Caroline2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is in a great location and access to the backyard was great for our pup. The bed is a little bit small if there's more than one of you in there, but otherwise we enjoyed our time here.

    Amanda2018-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Juan's place was such a great find. I travel to Hudson often and have stayed all over, it's hard to find something that is affordable and centrally located. It's a perfect location in the heart of town but off the main st so it's quit and cozy. It's very clean and the full kitchen is ideal for longer stays. Julia was in communication with me all weekend and was available to offer any help or recommendations I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

    Christine2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice little place in the heart of Hudson. Centrally located one block from the main drag, Warren St. Juan and Julia were readily available and communicative; we never actually met them but it was clear they were ready to deal with any issues and for us there weren't any. You won't be watching TV here but I preferred throwing a record on and getting ready for a day out.

Bright & sunny, beautifully renovated designer home just off Warren St. Luxury linens, pillows and memory foam mattresses. Brand new chefs kitchen with bbq and gas fire pit on the patio just outside. Spa-like bathroom with heated floors and large tub. In home massage or yoga services available. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and bars and 1.3 miles from the Amtrak station. We finished the renovation of this 1842 farmhouse in January 2018!
This completely remodeled home has gorgeous exposed whitewashed ceilings, high end birch floors and designer elements throughout. The downstairs has a large living room with a 55 inch TV with Netflix, Amazon TV and HBO and chrome cast, as well as an open concept dining room/kitchen and a half bath and laundry room. We say it can sleep 10 people, but note that there is 1 full bathroom and 1 half bath and there are 4 bedrooms. So it may be more comfortable to have 10 people if some of the people in your party are children. Upstairs you'll find four bedrooms, all with large closets. The bright and sunny master bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress with a workspace and room to do some morning yoga! Or if you have a larger party, we can put a double mattress on the floor of this room if you'd like. Off the master (but also with it's own hallway entrance) is The Moroccan Room - a wonderfully cozy room with a double bed - perfect for curling up with a book, or for children to play and jump in. The bathroom has an oversized tub and luxury rain shower. The Deck Room has a queen bed, also with a memory foam mattress. The shining feature of this room are double french doors that open up to a private 150 SF deck complete with 2 lounge chairs. The Double Room has a full sized mattress and an extra large closet. Bright luxury linens warm up this wonderful room!
Hudson has been called “The Trendiest Town in New York State" by Conde Naste Traveller. Having lived all over the world, most recently in Brooklyn, I'd say I have to agree! We have a great small town vibe with the comforts of a lively city - just in smaller scale. The house is on a street that has fairly constant traffic. We provide ear plugs for light sleepers!
  • Amazing decor and amenities. Amanda and Chris have thought about everything one may need while staying at the place from wine openers to little things like good and freshly ground coffee

    Sameer2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautifully renovated and was perfect for kids. We travelled with another family and everyone had a great time hanging out at the house and in the backyard. I definitely recommend this house for anyone, but especially people with large families. Thanks for having us!

  • WOW! This was by far the best airbnb I have stayed in. The house was incredibly immaculate and the photos just don't do it justice. I had the pleasure of talking with Amanda & Chris and they told me they just finished a full remodel on this 1842 house - and what a beautiful job they did! The kitchen was a dream to cook in and we spent a lot of time around the island there - which also opens nicely into the dining room so the cook (me!) never felt alone. The beds were ultra comfortable and the upstairs bath was paradise. The house was very tastefully decorated - not too much - but made us feel right at home even though it inspired a lot of house envy! Despite negative temperatures the house was so warm and sunny, we almost forgot it was subzero outside! The location was great and while we had a car, it wouldn't be absolutely necessary in the future (if its as above 5 degrees outside!). Can't say enough about this house - it belongs in a design magazine! I'd highly recommend staying here.

A 19th century rowhouse only 2 blocks from Warren Street and a 10 minute walk from the Hudson Amtrak station. Located on up-and-coming State Street, this 2-story frame house sleeps 4 people and includes wifi, Apple TV, bedding, bath towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. If you need accommodations for an additional one or two guests, please see our newest Airbnb listing, Hudson Rowhouse Number Two, which is located right next door to this one.
The inside of the house has been partially renovated with many original details intact and the facade has been recently restored. Originally built as a worker rowhouse, the place is very sunny with two stories: On the first floor there is a living room, kitchen and bathroom; on the second floor are two bedrooms and an office / dressing room with a desk and chair. The kitchen is set up and equipped for light cooking. Upstairs, the larger bedroom has a King size Serta Vera Wang luxury pillowtop mattress (plush top over firm) and the second bedroom has a Queen size Nest organic mattress (medium firm). There is a view of the garden, however the backyard and basement are not yet accessible to guests. Last but not least, the WiFi / broadband is very strong ... great for watching shows on your laptop (as the rowhouse doesn't yet have a TV). Apple TV is available on the flat screen in the living room.
The house is located on State Street and Fifth, just half a block from the new library and two blocks from Warren Street. You can walk from the Hudson Amtrak station; it's about 6 blocks. Some of the other buildings on the street are starting to be renovated and in transition, so there are both original early residents and new ones, young and old, and diversity. The street is occasionally a bit noisy and/or busy, but overall, the neighborhood is respectful and safe with a location that is very close to the center of Warren Street ... and also 2 blocks from the new restaurant Abel and 3 blocks to Helsinki. Also 2 blocks from the rowhouse, you will find a choice of 3 coffee shops and also the town's local grocery store, Olde Hudson. A CVS is located within walking distance.
  • Dominic was incredibly communicative and made sure we got exactly what we needed during our stay. There were no hang ups or issues, and the space itself is lovely and a great location for enjoying the nearby restaurants and stores on Warren Street. Definitely will stay here again on our next trip.

The location was ideal and close to the downtown, parking was always available and everything was clean and functional. We'd visit Hudson again just to stay at Dominic's place. I've already recommended this place to several friends!

My place is close to All restaurants in town, 5 mins away from amtrack train station. Walking distance to farmers markets, specialty food stores, yoga Pilates☺️, family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, the city center. You’ll love my placebright clean and spacious ️, the light, the comfy bed, the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
My place has a homey feeling to it. Very clean and comfortable . Even though it is on the main street it's quiet and cozy. Overlooking the park you'll also be within walking distance of every restaurant, bar ,shop and gallery that Hudson has to offer. Don't feel like driving? Leave your car at home! You'll also be within walking distance of the train station. Many would agree that Hudson is best seen on foot anyway. Feeling guilty from a long night of overindulgence? Hit the gym, try a spin class or even Yoga! All within walking distance! Feel like doing some shopping? Clothes, jewelry, art, sporting goods etc. all here at your fingertips. Taxis are available for ventures in and out of town. I also sublet my apt . I work at the hospital and would sleep at my home some nights/dates . If you book on one of those days I will be sure to let you know in advance.

  • Ana's home is in a wonderful location close to all local stores, cafe's and restaurants. Ana's communication was excellent and she left the keys exactly where advised. Her home is comfortable and the bedroom in particular has some very cute touches. The large bath was fabulous. Ideal for a lone traveller or couple. I only stayed a few nights but was very comfortable in Ana's home.

  • Vlad was very easy to communicate with and, as we were bringing our dogs, he made a great suggestion to switch places and stay downstairs where there is yard access.

    Laura2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Vlad's downstairs apartment was just perfect for a quick couples weekend sojourn out of the city. Access to the apartment was super easy and secure. We also lucked out with a super convenient parking spot on the same street as the apartment, and everything about the neighborhood felt completely safe. Super quick walk to the main drag in Hudson and a perfect home base for spending some time in the Hudson Valley!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Marc and Joe's! Thanks for the lovely weekend, guys. Until next time!

    Julia2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Joe and Marc's apartment is located right on Main Street of a cute village called Catskill (8 min drive to Hudson). It's a spacious apartment, very clean. They were so nice to provide us with lots of info about the area. Thanks guys!

    Timothy2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great bright clean space, centrally located, lovely hosts! Can't wait to go back to Catskill!

    Natalie2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a great stay at Suite 2 in Catskill, NY! We planned a last minute getaway from NYC and Marc & Joe were very accommodating with our 1-night request. The apartment was impeccably clean with great design and aesthetic. The town is quaint and very close to Hudson if you want additional options for restaurants and shopping. All in all, we would definitely book this apartment again!

    Katrina2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Marc & Joe have such a gem on their hands! This place was stunning it was adorably decorated and beautiful full of natural light!

    Hannah2017-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Marc and Joe's apartment was the perfect home for our short stay and would have been ideal if we had been able to stay longer. The apartment is spacious, very luminous and so tastefully decorated. Marc and Joe had sent some recommendations for things to do/local restaurants and also had great suggestions when we got there. They were extremely accommodating for us to pick up the keys even with a few last minute changes. Highly recommend this place!

    Marion2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Marc and Joe's suite for a last minute getaway from the city. We saw that it was a "rare find" so we hopped on the opportunity to book right away. They accepted us in less than 24 hours and even sent over a list of suggestions for hiking, museums and restaurants. Joe met us at the door upon arrival for a quick chat and gave a quick rundown of the place. The apartment is EXACTLY like the photos. It is extremely clean, airy and decorated so tastefully and stocked with the necessities. It felt a homey hotel suite. Main street is quiet and has lots of character. Catskill has great parks and easy, scenic strolls if you feel like roaming around. The suite is close to nearby towns that are so rich in history and culture. You can literally pick a nearby town for each day of your stay where you can hike a bit, get a little history in at a famous home or museum, and grab a great meal. We had such a great stay and did so much. Thank you Marc and Joe for a wonderful, stress-free stay!

    Jocelyne2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Marc and Joe's space in Catskill is fantastic! The two of them could not have been nicer, and they were super helpful during the entire process. The apartment itself is gorgeous, comfortable and in a great location. If you're looking for a weekend trip not too far from New York City, this space comes with my highest recommendation.
