“What is it? In summer Oslo Fjord including Hovedøya and Gressholmen are ideal for cruising, swimming, beach picnics and hiking. Why go? It only takes five minutes by ferry to reach the main island, Hovedøya, with its lush forests, beaches and monastery ruins and costs same price as a bus ticket. Buy a day pass and jump from island to island, or book a guided tour.”

“Fantastic place across the fjord from us. In the winter you can go there by car through the Oslofjord tunnel in 30 minutes, and in the summer there is a ferry going from Drøbak. Villa Malla has a sparkling white sand beach, crystal clear water and palm trees that look real. The view of the fjord is stunning and the sallad buffé has everything you desire for a great lunch. This is a place unlike any other places around here where a lot of people get married on the beautiful little beach.”
