“The Palace of Winds named as Hawa Mahal by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. It is made up of red and pink sand stone and was designed by Lal Chand Ustad. The specialty of this pyramidal shaped monument is that it has 953 small windows called Jharokhas decorated with intricate lattice work. It has unique five floors with a rise of 50 feet from the ground level. The intent of lattice design is to allow royal ladies to observe daily life and festivals celebrated in the street.”

“A good place to know and understand history. A scenic view from the top. You have a clear view of the entire city of Jaipur. There is a sunset viewpoint. You can access this leave via a car or you may also walk up this mountain on foot. Remember the walk up is not easy. Yet it's beautiful to try. The structure itself is not great. However, the view of the city from the top is simply amazing and beautiful. ”

“Great place to witness olden technological culture. It simply shows how great the olden day’s astrology was. The time plot was just amazing. The other bigger time plot had an accuracy level of 2 seconds. I was just amazed to see how they had generated ideas to get 1 half and complementing another half to look at the various stages of Sun movements. Different blocks for different zodiac signs placed according to the configuration of the stars. Suggest to go along with the guide it’s worth it. ”

“A cafe that offers healthy and tasty fresh food with an international flavour. (kindly note: The cafe DOES NOT offer Indian food, many other places in Jaipur offer great Indian food) As far as possible the cafe offers foods that are made from fresh seasonal organic produce grown locally at Anokhi farm. Their salads for example are made from home grown organic lettuce that is freshly picked every morning and served the same day, it is washed with bottled mineral water of course!”
