  • Sue and Kris are the most hospitable hosts. They are attentive to your needs and any problems that may arise. Simple gestures from hosts are more appreciated than obvious ones....replacing yummy smelling lavendar soap, bubbly water cold in the fridge, a cute pin for my daughter, going out of their way to drop off a package, all reasons that will guarantee we rebook this apartment. Thank you for having us again as your guests. We wish you continued success, good health and happiness!

  • The owner is really nice person, and the accommodation has an amazing pool and gym. I'd like to use this apartment again.

  • Sue's place was excellent and very comfortable. Check in was easy and very thorough and instructions were clear. Lots of light in the apartment and everything was very clean! Would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

  • If you are looking for a chic, comfortable, clean, safe space in an amazing location, then you must stay here. We could not have been happier with the check-in communication, extensive recommendations, and location. The one small caveat is that if you are a sensitive sleeper, you may want to pack an eye mask - the lights from the train tracks are pretty bright. The Arts District was the highlight of our Socal visit. Thanks, Sue!

    Cara2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • A super clean and nicely minimal stay in a great part of the city. Sue also left great info on good spots nearby.

    Kyle2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and cozy place. Walking distance to anything and everything. Very clean.

    Ryan2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is an ideal Airbnb spot for vacationers. Security system made me feel safe and instructions were well thorough. This place comes with kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, plates, and cups! I'd definitely come back and use this place again.

  • We stayed here for 1 night to explore the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. It is a perfect location, nestled above some cute shops and restaurants, and you can easily walk to the galleries and other bars and restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed the rooftop pool and gym and the apartment itself was very minimalistic modern, which I enjoy. Never felt unsafe in this area and parking is a breeze with plenty of unmetered street spots located right across the street. The only thing I would advise is that this is not economical for a short stay, as I only stated 1 night but paid a $79 cleaning fee (which is the same price of the nightly rate itself) so in the future, I would recommend staying here at least 2 nights to get your money's worth.

  • The room was clean and the location was great! I definitely recommend it.

    Jimmy2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, quiet, and perfect for one/two people--too small for more than one large suitcase but again, perfect for me! Thanks again Amanda!

    Nichole2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Micro definitely means micro...! Smaller than expected for the price and a full length mirror and light above sink mirror is much needed. A little delay with providing check in details but otherwise communication was great and I had a comfortable stay. The apartment was very clean and location is great. I slept very well :)

    Miriam2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Micro and extremely clean to the level you could believe you are the first person to of stayed in the property. (That is unless I was the first?)

    Andrew2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Good value or price. Quarters are tight, but it serves the purpose. Good location, close to restaurants right outside of front door., etc. Love the rooftop deck!

Awesome loft with exposed brick and high ceilings. Beautiful, large semi-private bedroom with curtains for privacy. Close to Manuela, Boomtown and Angel City breweries and Union Station Metro stop. Newly renovated kitchen with stainless appliances. Large newly renovated bathroom with giant soaker tub and shower with excellent water pressure. Super fun hosts who are happy to show you around the great neighborhood. Great space for musicians/bands!!
Our loft is super low key and fun. We are a couple musicians and love hosting musicians and music enthusiasts. We are always open to hang out and jam with guests, or will leave you to the privacy of your room if you prefer. We are constantly adding cool features to the loft to suit a Music theme for the space. Our neighborhood is incredible! Very walkable, lots of great spots to eat, awesome little shops and we are a quick walk or uber ride to Little Tokyo, Staples Center, Grand Central Market and so much more! You can take public transit to Santa Monica, LAX, Hollywood and more.
Our loft is in the Arts District so it very walkable to explore the restaurants, museums, cafes, shops and breweries/bars in the Arts District or Little Tokyo. Manuela, Hauser & Wirth, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Wurstkuche, UmamI Burger, Pie Hole, Bestia, Church and State, Grand Central Market, Angel City Brewery, Boomtown Brewery and Arts District Brewery. We are also a few minutes walk away from Union Station, which has a shuttle to LAX for about $9. You can also catch an uber to the airport, about 25-35 minute drive without rush hour traffic. Our neighborhood is downtown, so you can also get to the Staples Center, Dodgers Stadium, LA Convention Center, the fashion district and more very easily. You can also take public transit or uber to Hollywood, Venice Beach, or Santa Monica.
  • Awesome host :)

  • Alex's place is great value; from the hosts, the facilities to the surrounding resources the location has to offer. The apartment is situated amongst a wealth of things to do and eat, as well as a number transit options such as easily accessible-public busses pretty much just outside the entrance. Definitely enjoyed my short stay at this awesome studio apartment!

Stay in the India room in an artists loft, close to Union Station and Disney Concert Hall. Private room with queen size bed, sleeps 1 .kitchen access, largr bathroom. Laundry facilities available in the building, cafes, bars and lots of yummy food in walking distance. Free Wifi available.
Amazing Murals and cafe's all around.
  • We had a great experience at LA and Tiger has defiantly played a roll in it. Everything was great, the location, fairly close to Union station (7 min walk), the place by itself is really nice and very unusual, you will probably not find something like this elsewhere. So if you up to go to LA and don't want to stay at the hotels out there you should take a look at Tiger's place, it's a good choice.

    Aleksandr2012-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Tiger was a very welcoming and kind host. The loft is located in an old warehouse, with several artists studios, close to Little Tokyo and the metro. If you like to meet people, see selfmade jewelery and you are not afraid of sleeping behind courtains, not walls, this is the place for you. We were there on a thursday when Tiger hosted a poetry reading night, and although it was not much sleep that night, it was great fun.

    Claudia and Romedio2012-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Tiger was Awesome! beautiful place! we has really loved to be there, and specially Rufus, our dog, he was soooooo happy! thanks Tiger for every thing!

  • It's a really nice place! I love it!

    Yue2016-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Tiger's place is amazing, from the interior decor choices to the calm, informative grounded spirit of herself and the energy of this loft. It's in a perfect location downtown, super close to the train and then only one stop or a short walk to Union Station that is the lead to all transportation. Uber's & Lyft had no trouble finding me either! Little Tokyo is amazing easy walk to Grand Central Market for delish fresh food! I will defly be returning and satisfaction!

    Kelly2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Tiger's comfy bohemian place was great.

    Kevin2012-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Tiger is a very gracious and friendly host who genuinely cares about people. Her loft is unique and filled with all the aspects of her creative life. It might be difficult for some to get up the make-shift stairs to the India room, but it was fine for me. The bed is very comfortable. Perhaps the only recommendation would be for a reading light next to the bed. The bathroom is shared with other roommates in the loft, but was plenty clean. It's in a neat old brick building on the edge of a pretty happening area in LA. However, I only needed a bed. I did not take advantage of the area, I didn't use transportation, etc. because my sister dropped me off and picked me up and we headed out of town, so I can't really comment about that. Great bargain.

  • We had a great stay! Svetlana was very flexible and make the check in process really easy! She gave us a tour of the complex and had all the amenities covered, she even came by later and dropped off an extra blanket for a last minute guest which was above and beyond. The apartment was really clean and comfortable and the area is easy to access with coffee shops, bars, shops, restaurants, etc right around the corner. We would happily stay here again!

  • This apartment is amazing. Fresh from a week of partying in Vegas I was looking for something relaxing and low key and this place absolutely delivered. Located right in the heart of the arts district, this apartment is located minutes away from great restaurants and cafes. The apartment itself uses the space extremely well and contains everything you could possibly want while the complex houses a gym and heated pool which I used liberally. Great place and I couldn't recommend enough Thanks Svetlana for being an excellent host!

The condo is wheelchair accessible and very easy to get around in a wheelchair. Parking: Attached garage parking is FREE for September and October. (Nearby parking is $20/overnight and $10 during the day for garage parking) You save $30 per day on parking! The place is great for crashing after a long day exploring the city =) This place is perfect for you if you are looking for a safe, affordable and convenient location in Downtown LA. I am very easy going. Feel free to ask me any questions or for any recommendations. I speak fluent Mandarin although I am Chinese illiterate. Yelp Little Tokyo Restaurants! This condo is right in the center of Little Tokyo between the Historic Core and the Arts District. There are multiple Asian supermarkets nearby, DAISO, multiple karaoke joints, bars, restaurants, boba, co-working spaces...all within a two block radius! The EightyTwo Bar and Arcade is 1 block away! (website hidden) LAX to Condo: It takes 30 min to get to my apartment from LAX via public transportation depending on traffic conditions. Take the Fly-Away to Union Station and take the Gold Line 1 stop to Little Tokyo. My apartment is 2 blocks to the Gold Line station. To get around downtown: The A dash stop is right outside my condo. You can also take the Metro to Union Station or walk to any of the Metro stops nearby to get to Hollywood, Culver City, Pasadena, etc. Citadel Outlet Shopping: There is an express bus stop to the Citadel Outlets nearby. I SPEAK MANDARIN and English I do not have any pets.
  • Jo is a very nice person. Her place is clean and tidy. I would recommend to any people who are willing to live in LA downtown. There are quite a few restaurants in little Tokyo that are highly recommended.

    Shizhen2014-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jo was a great host, and the apartment was perfect, in a simple and clean building. I've been there by two nights, the neighborhood is secure, i didn't have any problem by night. I recommended this private room, was a great stay in a very good apartment.

    Guillermo2015-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • it's really a great time to stay at Jo's Plc in DTLA. Jo is so hospitable n it's very convenient to go anywhere by bus or subway from her Plc. Hope I would have chance to stay there again soon.

    Irene2014-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jo made our stay comfortable and she was very easy going. Communication was quick too. Her apartment is clean, modern and we get our own bathroom which is maintained very well. Laundry washer and dryer is also located in the bathroom for us to use. The bed is absolutely MASSIVE and the covers and sheets are really comfortable. The bedroom also has plenty of space for storing suitcases without an issue. She provides tips and recommendations around Downtown too. I hope to return to LA again, as my stay was very enjoyable!

    Tracey2017-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • I really loved staying with Jo. Her apartment is perfectly located to visit the Impact Hub in LA, and also close enough to the public transport systems to visit attractions across the city. In fact if you are touring up the West Coast (or down) it's just a short walk from the Bus from San Francisco, and again to or from the Union Station and the bus to LAX. Be careful of Little Tokyo though... so much pop fashion and gadgets you might go broke :). Also a very efficient launderette just downstairs.

    Stephen2015-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Jo's was great. I booked at the last minute and her mom met me and let me into her spotless and well appointed apartment. The bedroom and private bathroom were very comfortable and I felt right at home. Jo was super friendly and warm and I would happily stay with her again. Having a reserved parking space was wonderful! An exceptional Airbnb experience. Thanks, so much, Jo!

    Katherine2015-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really great and well priced option in the middle of Little Tokyo. The room was ample and clean, and has its own bathroom across the hall. Jo and Chris were great, friendly hosts and were helpful in recommending nearby things to check out. Little Tokyo is a cool neighborhood with lots of great food, and is really well located with a lot of different types of neighborhoods a few minutes walk away. Getting to Jo's apartment from LAX was surprisingly easy with the inexpensive shuttle that runs you directly to union station. Bonus!! The Frances Bakery is right next to the building and has the best donut I've ever eaten in my life. Highly recommended!

    Alberto2014-03-21T00:00:00Z

We have 18 pods in a large industrial loft. Check us out on Vice, Curbed, LA Weekly, LA Magazine, KTLA - we are all over the net right now! Yay!
This is PodShare's newest location! Each custom built pod has it's own flatscreen television with Roku (Netflix, Hulu, Pandora), LED night light, personal outlets, and small luggage area. The Space itself is an industrial loft. We have a community kitchen, lounge, co-working space, two bathrooms/2 showers, and24hr keypad access. This is a co-living community - an awesome opportunity to make new friends.
The Arts District is the heart of downtown LA. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and incredible street art right out side our doors. Little Tokyo is just a block away, and is filled with food, a museum, cute stores, and a bowling alley. Getting Around The closest Metro is Little Tokyo (across the street), and anything you could want to see downtown is within a mile of the location (Staples Center, Disney Music Hall, LA Live). Hollywood, Dodger Stadium, Pasadena are all a short metro or bus ride away.
  • I always love staying with podshare, I highly recommend it.

    Charlie2017-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Good value for your money. Beds are super comfy. Changing was kind of hard as the bathroom stalls are pretty small. Otherwise, good place to stay as I was looking for a bed and place to keep my stuff as I explored.

    Mallory2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • It is great for a weekend trip or for a short stay otherwise u may find the privacy problem.. they had a great show with sofar on friday nite, chance to meet some local artists and socialize with other guests.

    Gülay2016-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • For the most part, I really enjoyed staying at the PodShare. The location was good, there was free street parking nearby, and the staff was friendly. There were some really great places within walking distance too. A few things that I wasn't crazy about was the condition of the showers, which were a little on the gross side and all the dishes in the sink that seemed to build up even though there was a sign marked that asked people staying to wash their own dishes. A touch more privacy would be nice as well. Maybe a curtain to go around the bed to allow more privacy when changing and sleeping if people should want it. All in all I really enjoyed the experience, it allowed me to stay in LA relatively cheaply and meet new people I otherwise wouldn't have while I was there.

    Sarah2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first time with Airbnb and staying at the Podshare was perfect. I had a great experience, all amenities there, really comfortable, really clean. Elvina was fast at responding and let me check in early. It was a lot of fun to see the diversity staying here. Id definitely stay again if in LA! It was exactly what I needed for a festival!

    Sammi2016-10-10T00:00:00Z

Mid century modern, luxury condominium in the heart of cultural downtown Los Angeles, walking distance to The Broad & Disney Concert Hall. Condo is located in one of the newest residences with a rooftop zen garden and dipping pool, social lounge and well equipped gym. With a walking score of 97 everything can be found on foot, but even if driving is your thing, condominium includes one parking space in attached garage.
Modern, comfortable and well appointed designer condominium
  • I have to agree with a previous review - this place appears to be a test location / Airbnb for the traveler. Upside: Place is centrally located across from Little Tokyo, $4-$5 UBER ride to DTLA. Apartment is nicely decorated and has a modern feel; however, the listing does not disclose the bedroom view of a rundown parking lot, making it difficult to keep the blinds up. The noise was a problem for me since loud heavy metal music was playing from 10:30pm - 12:30pm (club or pub next door). People in the building (especially the parking attendants) are extremely nice. Not sure if I would stay again due to the parking lot, noise. Also, I was asked to take out the trash, so not sure why I'm paying for a cleaning fee? And picking up keys / dropping them off offsite is a big ask for for any guest.

    Imee2017-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and very well organized. Also, perfect size for two people trying to just relax AND be in DTLA all at the same time (which may seem counter intuitive). One and one thing only bugged me was that there was a picture of a larger pool, which I was looking forward to swimming in. I believe that this image may be from a different property that the host manages. Other than that, the place is as described. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Great spot. Great location. I would recommend for anyone looking to stay downtown.

  • Great location in downtown LA, reasonable price, very secure, very clean, good internet, all facilities like new. The parking space definitely helped. Eric gave very clear instructions from checking in, staying and checking out, a very helpful host. We would stay here again.

  • The place is okay. Our stay seemed like we were testing place out. No toilet paper and linens didn’t seem fresh. Parking is a bonus. Location is good.

  • Eric's apartment is very clean and modern, the bed is comfy,Eric is so nice and thoughtful,I hope we could be back to la and live in Eric's apartment again

A private room in beautiful spacious, light filled downtown loft. Comfy Queen Bed, Laptop ready Desk, Wifi, and in-room A/C. This 3-story brick building is one of LA's oldest–built in 1887–and has some seriously unique history. Walking distance to The Broad, MOCA, Little Tokyo, the Arts District and many of the hottest places to eat in Los Angeles. A good fit for solo adventurers and creative business travelers.

We are located in Downtown Los Angeles which is made up of around 15 different neighborhoods or districts, each with their own subtle character and personalities. We are in The Old Bank District which is a sub-district of The Historic Core, which contains some of the oldest buildings and architecture in the city. The neighborhood is a lively and fascinating place! Downtown LA is very urban, and with that comes many wonderful and not so wonderful things. Some of the wonderful things are the museums–like MOCA, The Broad, The Geffen Contemporary, and The Japanese American National Museum that are all within walking distance. There are numerous world class art galleries, restaurants, and coffee bars nearby. Downtown is really the only place in LA where you feel like you are in a city. Our neighborhood is incredibly diverse and colorful. It contains populations from just about every ethnic background, age range and economic strata. In recent years we’ve had an abundance of amazing restaurants open all around us, as well as fashionable bars and nightclubs–all within a stones throw of our front door. Downtown is not where you go to “get away from it all” and be rested and peaceful (although, there are many hidden tranquil and magical sanctuaries around the city, too!) It’s more the place you go when you want to see and experience a real cross-section of Angeleno life. While downtown is on the economic upswing and numerous fancy spots have opened up, it still remains a gritty place. Our location is positioned at what we like to refer to as ‘the golden mean’–the felicitous middle between the extremes of excess and deficiency. Skid Row to the east, glitz and glamour to the west. There is a large homeless population in downtown and walking it’s streets you will encounter them. You will be asked for spare change and come across people muttering to themselves or invisible friends. Downtown is not a quiet place. When the guest room windows are closed and the air unit on, the room is like a cozy cocoon–very quiet and comfortable. However, there are police sirens, helicopters, trash trucks and car horns–you will hear them sometimes and they can be noisy. We are across the street from a nightclub that attracts a late night crowd, and across the alley the back side of a music venue. You may hear the sounds of late night revelry in the streets. It’s urban, visceral and authentic and that holds it’s own sort of unique beauty.
  • In big city like L.A. Jodi is the perfect host!! I stayed with them for 2 nights, the place is fantastic. It's full of creative vibes and interesting details. The beddings are so comfy, you will fall asleep as soon as you hit the bed! Have a good time with them, definitely a place to stay in DTLA.

  • Clean, beautiful, and artistic loft + surrounding neighborhood. Very unique place. Jodi and her husband are very accommodating and kind. They offered lots of advice on hip places to check out around the area. Only thing is the place is slightly closer to Skid Row, but i did not feel unsafe at all as most of the surrounding area is becoming more and more modern.

    Patricia2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed the stay at Jodi's downtown retreat. Jodi's was very welcoming and offered me dinner because I arrived late and had a long drive. The place is comfortable, very clean and the loft is cool, creative, with a super cool vide overall. Jodi and Stephen are excellent guides to the DTLA area. I will be back!

    julie2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jodi was great to work with. Kind and very accommodating. This isn't a hotel, it's someone's home with a nice guest room. They are sharing their home and their lifestyle with you. If you're looking for a clinical resort, this isn't it, but, if you want a comfortable place to stay with a kind and helpful host, her place is great!

    Michael2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jodi's place was beautiful, central and a great friendly. A long time Angelino, Jodi gave us great recommendations. We loved our stay. Thanks, Jodi!

  • My experience with Jodi and Stephan was the best Airbnb experience I have had yet. The room is in one of the coolest loft spaces that exist. An authentic loft with beautiful wood floors that Jodi and Stephan craftily installed, artfully decorated and styled , high ceilings and big beautiful (URL HIDDEN) like walking into the pages of a gorgeously styled home decor coffee table book. The neighborhood is diverse with fabulous restaurants as well as some LA grit. You may be greeted by a homeless wanderer once and a while walking down the street, but their space is a gorgeous oasis in the midst of a "vibrant" urban neighborhood. Stephan and Jodi also have a beautiful shop and art gallery below the loft and have an in depth knowledge of the neighborhood as well as the LA art and food scene. I slept great in the comfy bed, was greeted in the morning with a nice strong cup of coffee and left feeling like I have friends for life as well as a new inspiring appreciation for LA. I can't wait to go back to the loft, to see and laugh with Jodi and Stephan and shop in their beautiful store. I would love to keep this gem to myself, but feel like I would be doing a dis service to any other creative spirits that are looking for a great LA experience with amazing hosts. Thank you Stephan and Jodi for opening your space up to share with the world.

  • Do you like amazing people? Are you curious what a truly awesome host is? Are you tired of cookie-cutter and crave a true experience? How about a beautifully appointed loft, comfortable but with a curator's eye? Then you you've found the right place, friend. Book now. Do it. Downtown LA is a vibrant place worth experiencing. It's gritty, caveat emptor. And not for everyone. But it just might be for you.

    Jonathan2017-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous hosts who helped with every aspect of my visit, from restaurants to walking routes. Most adorable dog ever who does not bark and will brighten your days. Slept like a baby. Was traveling for work and loved the proximity to office. Definitely would stay again.

We welcome you to an affordable space inside our huge loft apartment w/ exposed brick and epic ceilings. Located in the trendy Arts District-- just two blocks from the Metro & Little Tokyo. Open kitchen, HD TV and a ping pong table. WiFi, Netflix. How can this listing be so affordable and so epic? You'll have your own cozy nook upstairs, but there is no door, low ceilings, and one of the walls is a curtain.
1,000 square foot common area. 16 foot ceilings. Wood floors. Wood beams. Several different lighting options depending on your mood. Brick walls. Natural light from the skylight. Oh, and we have a pro-grade ping pong table! Your space is an upstairs lofted area with your own queen bed, bedside table, clothes hangers and lamp. You'll be sharing the main area, kitchen, and bathroom with a cool LA locals. This room has low ceilings (it's a loft inside our loft). It's best for someone who is OK with that!
City life in DTLA is awesome. You can walk to Cafes, Farmers Markets, Little Tokyo, Chinatown, and much more. Not to sound full of ourselves, but this is one of the coolest parts of LA and you'll have a lot of delicious food and interesting art to explore. The area also offers free yoga in the winter, free lunch time dance series in the summer and just a very lively but expansive area to explore. We are close to the HUB LA if you need a possible Meeting room or business set up.
  • Jordan and Anastasia's place is a nice option if you'd like to crash near Los Angeles Arts District for a short stay. The description they had is accurate so be mindful of it and read it through carefully. For me it was a good option since I was just looking for somewhere to crash for two nights on my own, however I wouldn't choose it as an option for a lengthy stay personally because of the close bedroom quarters and the lack of windows that you can use to air out the space. Occupants were respectful of the shared space. Weekend price seems to be a little bit on the expensive side for what you get but it was still ideal for me due to the proximity to the Arts District.

    Itir2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Anastasia was a terrific host. She gave me many recommendations on where to eat and places to check out. The room was very clean and the home was spacious. Location couldn't have been better...close to shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, and galleries. Will be staying here again soon!

  • Jordan and Anastasia's place was perfect for me during my stay in LA. It was just a short distance away from everything I wanted to do and was very close to restaurants and grocery stores. Also, Jordan and Anastasia were very welcoming hosts and were very easy to contact/communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

  • Lovely artsy home in a great location. Downtown has a lot to explore plus Hollywood is only 15 minutes to Uber. Be aware that the room is really tiny with very low ceilings and a desk fan. Also there is no desk in the room but you can always use the dining table downstairs. Clean and tidy home. Cheers!

    Priya2017-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Located within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and other entertaining stuff. Pretty close to Union Station. Place was neat. Good hosts. Room is marketed correctly. Little above 6 foot ceilings with a few beams that aren't, but you only have to hit one once to remember that.

  • Jordon's house is at a super great location! And their house was beautiful, with string lights and all. The hosts were friendly, I had a great welcome and touring upon entering the house. :) thank you! The room was a little darker than expected. One side of the 'wall' is a curtain was not that big of an issue. Bathroom was rather clean too! Only issue was the noise at night. One sound and the whole house could hear. Although I was only in the room around 10pm at night onwards and left around brunch timing in the morning, would appreciate that the noise level was kept lower. It was kinda loud. All in all, the bed was super comfy and the environment was warm. I like it as outside was kinda cold. Thank you for hosting!

The apartment is located in one of the best places in LA, Little Tokyo. It is adjunct to Downtown LA, Art District and Korean Town, very close to highways. Metro, markets and tons of restaurants are within walking distance. You don't need to worry about coming here without a car. The apartment itself is brand new with excellent facilities, including the pool, hot tub, gym, club room and outdoor spaces (we have BBQ, kitchen, and billiards). You'll enjoy living here with other young people.
This is the places only for the girls. The room is bright and sweet decorated. Guests will have your own closet and private bathroom. We have a huge dinner table in the living room and enjoy sitting there having a cup of coffee with friends.
Little Tokyo attracts young people. Rarely places in LA are like Little Tokyo, everything you need is within walking distance, restaurants, coffee shop, market, bookstore, museum, art gallery, bars, nightclub, public transportation. You are very close to the newly development Art District and historical DTLA. You'll even walk to some famous attractions such as Moma museum, Japanese Village Plaza, The Broad museum, OUE Skyspace, Union Station, Chinatown, Grand Central Market, and famous restaurants like JiST Cafe, Blacktop Coffee, Shin-Sen-Gumi Raman, Daikokuya Raman and Marugame Monzo Udon, the Spring french restaurant. Starbucks is just at the entrance of the building. Several events are held in this area. We've seen parades, biking events, Japanese culture exhibitions. Though there is a lot going on in this area, it is very nice and quiet at night. What I like Little Tokyo most is that it is "walk friendly", which is very rare in LA. I used to live in Korean Town which has tons of restaurants. But every time I went out I have to drive.

  • Sarah’s Airbnb is right in the heart of the LA arts district. The pictures are true of the space but even more beautiful in person. Right down stairs is the arts district co-op to shop and support local artist. The area has quick access to the freeways so for my weekend is was easy to get around LA. The Chairman across the street offered quick and good food when I arrived off the road and needed something eat with out searching. The murals around the area are beautiful works of art. Sarah was an excellent host and even opened up the place three hours early when o arrived in town earlier. Excellent place and would definitely recommend to anyone.

The only thing I would be aware of is that there isn't an oven or microwave, so if you're planning on cooking, just make sure it's something that can be cooked on a stove top.

    Taylor2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • A real loft experience. Excellent. Close to the Japanese area.

    Geraldine2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect spot to explore LA's Arts District, Little Tokyo, Chinatown, Echo Park and beyond! Easy (and free) parking nearby, a number of really great places for food (Urth Caffe became a trip staple; Emerson Royce Bar was a highlight) and drink (the nearby breweries were exactly what we were after) were well within walking distance. The loft itself had a lot of character, and Sara made sure any questions or concerns were taken care of. Great value. Thanks again, Sara!

  • Sarah's place was in a perfect location, there are a lot of things that are within walking distance and it's always really lively during the day since it's in the art district. Sarah was a great host and she was really good with helping us out what anything we needed!

  • The images speak for itself. It's a great little cozy place right across from the Japanese Village Plaza. There are great places to eat near by and bars to check out! Pretty nice neighbor and there's a security guard at night at the door. Can't get over the room because it is small but great for one person and is designed nicely. Loved it! The only tiny problem is the wifi for the phone and on the first day it worked but after that it didn't so I had to go out to the lobby or the roof but other than that it's all good. Be sure to check out the rooftop! They have a great little place with lit string lights and it's just a great way to relax and end the day! Would definite come back again! (:

  • Great location in Little Tokyo. Right next to markets, restaurants and shops. Amanda and her colleague were very attentive and answered any questions we had immediately. The rooftop patio is an awesome bonus and a great place to hang out. :)

  • I would stay here again. It's a safe area close to the metro station, walking distance. The room is small but fine for one person.

  • Great location and the room was nice and cozy. Great communication with my hist and would definitely recommend staying here.

  • It's was great, located in Little Tokyo, super close to all train stops and walking distance to fantastic restaurants. It was a little smaller than expected, but great for the two of us. I'd recommend for only one person if you want to be really comfortable. But super clean and Amanda was super responsive to all questions and concerns.

    Matthew2017-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Overall, the stay was great! Communicating with Amanda was so easy! ☺️

    Prince 2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Well-located, clean apartment finished to a pretty high spec. Might be slightly small if travelling as a couple but perfect for one person. Great communication and happy with the stay.

    Jevan2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda's microsuite was very comfortable and clean, and was a great way to experience the minamalistic life. It had everything you need yet the furnishings were very new, fresh and up to date. It's nice and quiet and love the japanese indoor garden. The location is great - walking distance to lots of really great restaurants, shops and attractions. There is also accessible public transportation through the Union Station. Amanda was such a great host! We didn't experience any issues but Amanda was very responsive anyway. I would definitely stay here again especially for a longer business trip. Thank you so much!

  • Kevin was a fantastic host! He was very easy to contact, and was very flexible with the check-in and check-out process. Extremely nice lodging! This was our first time using Airbnb and I'm sure it will not be our last.

  • Kevin was accommodating and it was super easy to check in and out. The complex was really nice and access to the pool/jacuzzi was definitely an added bonus. It was super close to food and shopping, which was nice. The price was WAY better than any hotel we could find.

    Jessica2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin met us right on time and was very accommodating. He gave us a lot of ideas for enjoying Los Angeles. He is a great host. The condo was sound proofed and we never heard our neighbors. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. The location was excellent. We felt safe and there were multiple restaurants, bars, and a brewery that offered tours nearby. It's a great place to stay.

    Sandra2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin is extremely reachable. If you text him, he'll get back to you almost immediately! The location is excellent as you can easily walk to Little Tokyo and it's equidistant to a lot of the other neighborhoods/cities in the LA area. The place is very accessible to Uber or Lyft which is great since that is how we mainly traveled. Would stay here again the next time I come to LA!

    Jackie2016-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin was a wonderful host. From day 1, got me acquainted with the apartment, and made sure all my questions were answered. Place was great, location was great, cell phone service is a little dodgy for business travel calls, apartment in general was cozy, and a two thumbs up experience. Kevin was also quick to respond, a great host!! Thanks Kevin.

    Howard2016-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in if you want to explore L.A and little Tokyo. Would def come back.

  • *This location is Everything! We were in town for a conference and found everything downtown to be either within walking distance or a very short transit ride away. *The apartment photos and descriptions are very accurate. *No cellular service in the apartment (At&T and Cricket) and spotty wifi. *We did not meet Kevin but he was very responsive when we contacted him.

Our place is close to plenty of restaurants and cute shops -- it's unique because of the ambiance the neighborhood brings. The home is quiet so you can rest at night, yet close to activity so you can enjoy your days outside. It's good for young couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. ATTN: WE HAVE FURRY CHILDREN. We have a large dog and a small dog and they will be as much your hosts as we are :) They will welcome you eagerly and are very friendly and docile: great with people.
we are both expats from different cities and guests will experience a home that's eclectic and a reflection of our interests and styles. the entire apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 shared bathroom. you are staying in the guest room closer to the living room.
we love all the local small businesses in the area and how dog-friendly the neighborhood is. it's still in downtown so it's always busy in the daytime, but in the nighttime, it slows down so it's quiet...perfect for getting a good night's sleep or staying in for the evening. it's still close enough to activity that we can always walk to the nightlife.
  • We loved staying with I and V! They were so accommodating when we had to change our travel plans which we appreciated. They were very friendly and we felt at home in their home. Their dog biggie is so cute and definitely contributed to making us feel at home. We loved the outdoor space at their apartment and definitely used the hot tub a couple of times. We would definitely stay with them again if we go back to LA!

    K & A2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I would highly recommend I & V's place. We were looking for a safe and comfortable spot in a fun, walkable neighborhood in LA and found just that. The building is nice and new with good amenities, their place is clean and well maintained and the bed was quite comfortable. The neighborhood has a lot of restaurants, breweries and bars within walking distance and it's also a good jumping off point to get to other spots in the city via Uber or public transportation. We're also dog lovers, so we were happy to spend time with their two pooches. I & V were even nice enough to invite is to watch Game of Thrones with them on a Sunday night. All in all, if you're looking to have an active weekend in DTLA with a great spot to lay your head at night, this is the place.

    Nicholas2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • I & V were such amazingly friendly, fun and lovely hosts I've ever met, along with their cute puppy Biggie. They gave us lots of suggestion and always love to help us. The flat is super tidy and well-located. Great location for wandering around Arts District. Like Hauser Wirth & Schimmel is only a stone's throw away. Strongly recommended!

    Lois2016-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • I & V were the perfect hosts! Their complex itself is beautiful-- hot tub & pool are perfect after a long day wandering Hollywood and DTLA. Their apartment is clean, well-kept, and right in the Arts District-- everything we had on our "bucket list" was a short drive away and totally manageable. Their dogs are SO cute; definitely a perk to the stay! I & V were super friendly and laid back, had tons of great recommendations for food/activities, and are great communicators. I never hesitated or felt uncomfortable contacting them with questions! 10/10 would recommend a stay with them!

    Vera2017-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Their place is close to a lot of great restaurants. We loved the little tokyo too. And they offer towels, shampoo and toothpaste which is very nice.

    Doris2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Everything went really well. I and V are super friendly, the apartment is clean and nice. The pool is an awesome touch.

    Nicholas2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a GREAT time at I & V's place. Amazing hospitality; we felt very at home and could not have had a more fun and comfortable stay. The apartment building itself is brand new with plenty of amenities and is located only a few short blocks from the Arts District, Little Tokyo, and China Town. I would highly recommend I & V's place for any type of traveling from business to leisure.

    Michelle2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • I & V were gracious and friendly hosts. They supported us with our later-than-expected check in and everything went smoothly. Communication was timely and informative. Special shout out to I as it was in the middle of the night where she was when we were on our way. The security was excellent and we felt very safe. The building is very new with wonderful facilities that we unfortunately did not get to enjoy (heated pool and jacuzzi). Great decor and the shower was bright and clean. The room was spacious, well-maintained and the Tempur bed gave us 2 good nights of rest! :) For those worried about their pet, no issues there as Joanie is a sweetheart and very well-behaved! Thanks once again I & V for opening up your place to us!

  • Ro and Al apartment in LA is the classic creative’s industrial loft with vintage details you see in the movies! I loved the wide space, the comfy bed, the design furniture and the freedom of using ingredients in the kitchen. They DO live in it, so you experience the true LA life as if you were staying in a friend’s house. The view on the skyline is terrific. Many attentive details - welcome sweets, shampoo and shower gel, juice. Any advice you may need just ask and they will try to help you. We loved eating in the restaurants nearby, like Baco Mercat, Central Market on Broadway, Sushi rolls etc. Thank you for this great experience!

  • It was a pleasure staying here. I loved the building and the loft. Check-in was easy, and there was plenty to do only a few blocks away.

    Charles2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Ro is super helpful, replies messages within minutes. The location is great if you want to explore DTLA, Grand Central Market is few minutes away, the restaurants downstairs are great. But you might want to avoid walking down 5th and 4th street. Overall, we are very happy about our stay.

    Jordan2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Ro was a great host. Clear instructions and he provided great information about the surrounding area. Place was centrally located and surprisingly quiet at night for a busy/urban location.

  • Ro was a great host. He was always available and answered my questions immediately. I loved the loft, nothing more, nothing less, just perfect. It was clean, huge tv in bedroom and I loved the location. I go to LA every month for business and always stay in DT, but I really like this part of DT because I m close to some of my favorite restaurants and galleries. I definitely will stay at Ro's loft again. Thank you Ro. I loved the little details like the chocolates.

    Isaac2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful place. The host were very accommodating and responsive from all aspects. It was my birthday weekend and they even left me a little surprise for when I arrived. The only minor dislike was the lighting. With the industrial feel and loft style windows I can see why the lighting should be a bit dim. It just wasn’t ideal lighting for my friend and I getting dressed to go out at night. Other than that great place, great location, and great host! Thanks guys!!

  • Everything about this place is great!

    Jessica2017-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place looks exactly as pictured, clean, accommodating, and in a great location near Little Tokyo! I found the check in process a bit stressful, it wasn't clear we needed to coordinate a specific time in advance as the host never reached out to make this clear. Although they came over quickly to check us in, it was a bit rushed having to orchestrate the parking/building access. All in all, I would recommend this place for the value and location and reaching out to the host in advance to coordinate the check in time.

  • Place was great and communication was amazing. Very simple and easy. The pics are accurate. Excellent location

    Justin2017-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Really central DTLA location and one of the few places with 2 beds! Lovely bright spacious loft pretty much as pictured, with a great little private balcony. Dina was really helpful getting us checked in and really communicative on the phone, which we appreciated. If you are a light sleeper, know that the mattress on the bed in the loft is much more comfortable, and be aware that the blinds allow lots of natural light in. When the windows are open, there is a lot of city noise as well, which is to be expected based on the location, but you may want to pack some earplugs if you're not used to it. The only bummer for us was that I was here for business and the Wifi was out so I had to go downstairs to Starbucks--not the worst but certainly not as preferable as having it in your apartment!

    Laura2017-06-11T00:00:00Z

  • Great place to spend a few weeks or months when first arriving in LA and getting on your feet. Made some wonderful friends here and Alex the manager is incredibly helpful and friendly. As many other reviews note, the internet is spotty and sometimes quite poor. With 40+ units in the building, consumer grade internet just doesn't cut it. Other than this, it was a terrific stay. The next time I need a place to stay for a month to month period, I'll certainly be back.
