“This place is a bit quirky. It's a non-profit restaurant -- the employees are volunteers. But the food is incredible. It can be a bit slow, but it's worth it. The menu is huge.”

“This is a hidden gem, located on a nearby backroad. Pop in for a quick tour of their relatively small operation and try some incredibly unique and delicious cheeses. Last time we were there they had dill, lavender, herbal tea, and jalapeño cheeses.”

“Not far at all from the Outpost, this is a seasonal wedding venue. We've had a few guests stay with us who have been attending weddings at Blenheim Hill Farm.”

“The 10,588 acre Burnt-Rossman Hills State Forest is located in Schoharie County, about 2.5 hours from the Syracuse area. This is a very popular state forest for hiking, camping and other outdoor activities. A section of the aqua blazed, 350+ mile Long Path travels through the state forest. Along the Long Path is the Eminence Lean To, located about 0.5 miles east of Old Cemetery Road. The Long Path crosses Old Cemetery Road just south of an old cemetery.”

“We've had a couple people stay with us who have been in the area for the race track. It's close enough that on a calm day you can actually hear the cars or motorcycles.”

“We love having Sunday breakfast at Buck's. It's a very homey, family-run place for pancakes and bacon. Come in late spring and you can watch them boil maple sap into syrup while you eat!”
