Amphitheater
“If you can catch a Red Rocks concert while you're here, you won't regret it. Hands down the best concert venue! You get to watch music and watch the sun set on the city. If you can't get tickets for a concert you can still visit, walk the stairs, see the view, or do a hike nearby.”

Mexican Restaurant

“Although Casa Bonita is a restaurant many locals will tell you it is an experience not known for its food. Personally I have had a great time here when I came for the experience. Casa Bonita has enjoyed a renewed interest in it’s provided entertainment since being featured in an episode of “South Park”. It is truly a restaurant experience like no other. Watch out for the pirates and gorillas roaming around. Any local will tell you the sopapillas are worth sticking around for. Indoor cliff diving show all year round. For lovers of all things camp and kitsch!”

Theme Park
“Lakeside is an historic amusement park that will make a little bit of $$ go a long way. It’s truly an old-school theme park with rides suitable for all ages (even toddlers). A great alternative to Six Flags for those looking to spend less money, wait in shorter lines, and are up for a little character and charm (and a little nail biting on the older wooden coasters!). Take the little train ride around the lake after dark to get a great view of the park all lit up! ”

Thai Restaurant
$
“Best Thai food in metro Denver area! The dining room is no frills so we recommend carrying out and taking it across the street to enjoy with at beer at Joyride Brewing Company - they allow you to carry in since they don't have a kitchen. Joyride has a great atmosphere, great view of the lake, board games, not to mention beer. If you'd like to branch out from your typical Thai staples, this place is exceptionally good at making 1) Pad See Ew with tofu and 2) Fish Curry. They are very generous with chili pepper so choose your level of spiciness with caution!”
