“Sheltered on typical southerly winds, this massive sandy beach with never ending shallow sandy swimming is home to Adelaide's elite holiday houses. I sold my land there to upgrade to Stokes though ;-) ”

“Sweet little township with very interesting history. Visit the RIG (Restoring the Independence Group) who are replicating this famous vessel. There is also a good cafe The Deck there for light meals and coffee as well as the Oyster Shop which has take away and eat in seafood.”

“Take a nice long walk, or leisurely drive around the top of Reeves Point where you can see the oldest European Mulberry Tree in South Australia's (planted in 1836), then follow the coast (taking in the magnificent bird life, including black swans) around to the beautiful Bay of Shoals. Watch sailing boats bobbing up and down in the relatively calm waters of the bay, watch the sunset over the hills behind the bay, then make your way back into Kingscote via the winery, and past the cemetery, watching out for wallabies & kangaroos!”
