“Amazing BBQ with one of the best beer garden's in Westport. BBQ trays (pick 2 or 3 meats), jalapeno cheesy-corn bake, crispy jo-jo potatoes are some of our favorite items. Grab some BBQ / beer and head out to their patio if the weather is nice. Sunday fried chicken is also popular (available noon until it is sold out). ”

“The Ship is a really neat old ship themed bar and restaurant in the West Bottoms that makes the best frozen Irish coffee north of New Orleans! It's a really eclectic vibe and they have live music or a DJ playin oldschool soul/funk. They have good food and you run into all walks of folks and it's one if my favorite places. I have literally never had a bad or boring time there, but just watch out for the crazy potholes in the parking lot!”

Cocktail Bar

“Julep’s passion for libations, attention to detail and dedication to hospitality is evident from the moment you walk in the door. The swanky cocktail club pledges its allegiance to whiskey with a floor-to-ceiling wall of globe-spanning whiskeys, scotches and bourbons curated by former Manifesto bartender Beau Williams. Cocktails are artfully crafted and feature a southern flair, as do many a dish on the menu. The New York Times swooned over its decor, calling it a “mash-up of art deco glamour and midcentury modern simplicity.””

“ The food is okay, but its their bar that is really on point and has one of the best craft beer lists on Mass. An old bank converted to restaurant, their aesthetic is classic and their happy hour runs 7 days a week, 10pm-close ”

“Missie’s has been Kansas City’s most popular drag bar since it opened in 1994 as a piano lounge. Home of good times and good friends, Missie B’s welcomes all and ensures you’re thoroughly entertained, with must-see drag shows five nights a week and karaoke three nights a week. With an extensive upstairs dance floor, a smoke-friendly enclosed back porch and some of the stiffest drinks in town, Missie’s feels like a giant house party. Come thirsty and come often, and make sure you hit up the ATM before you drop in: this bar’s cash only.”
