Ski Area
“The Kitzsteinhorn is a great destination in summer and winter. With many ski runs, alpine huts, and breathtaking views over the mountains and valleys of the surrounding area, its simply a haven for skiers and snow-boarders alike. In summer this skiers paradise transforms into a playground for hikers and sun-lovers. Take a gondola up to the Gipfelstation at 3,029 metres, the highest accessible point in the province of Salzburg and soak up the views of over 200 Apline peaks!”

“The Sigmund-Thun Klamm is a beautiful gorge in Kaprun (about 15 minutes' drive from here). Entry is about €7 per person, which is definitely worth it! We recommend starting at the gorge, then after that taking a little walk around the gorges' source lake (about 2km). There is a children's play park at the tip of the lake too with a cafe/bar serving delicious refreshments :) ”
