“Recently taken over by Lucky Chopsticks and is an excellent Chinese Take-away ... not to be missed. It's a lovely Chinese Take-away, which also delivers to our door for a small fee. I use it regularly and would totally recommend it. Menu available in the room.”

Church
“St Mary the Virgin is the Church of England parish church of Iffley village. It is a small Romanesque church of great beauty and peacefulness, built about 1160 AD. It is a Grade 1 Listed Building of Historic England, meaning it is of major architectural importance. The oldest of the six bells in the bell tower was cast in 1592, while Shakespeare was working on Richard III. The huge yew tree that grows at the south side of the church is reckoned to be about 1600 years old, the oldest tree in Oxford.”

“The Thames Path and circular walk around they Hydro are easily accessible. Strongly recommend walking boots or shoes as can get muddy. The lock is a lovely place to sit on summer days and watch the boat life. ”
