“Sunday night at 9:30. Sit or lay down anywhere in the church and listen for free to the Men’s compline choir. A cerebral experience that is often capped off by a performance on their massive organ. ”

“Not to be confused with any of the various "Apostolic" churches, "COTA" is an eclectic Christian liturgical community long supported by both the Northwest Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Diocese of Olympia of the Episcopal Church. COTA also has deep roots in the nascent days of the Emergent Church movement of a decade ago. Eucharistic Mass is held at 5pm on Sundays at the much beloved Fremont Abbey Arts Center (be sure and check out that entry on this guidebook as well). We find the experience to be a compelling mashup of ancient liturgy with the dynamic creative energy of the community, both ever changing and ever consistent.”
