“Come inside the Old Grammar School and discover the story of Kingsbridge and the surrounding area. The museum has both permanent displays and special exhibitions which demonstrate how people in the area have lived, worked and played over many generations. There is something for all the family, come rain or shine, in this lively, local museum. ”

“The Fat Monkey is a restaurant and bar situated over the traditional 'Shambles' of Kingsbridge (which dates back to the early 1800's!). The restaurant offers lunch & dinner as well as brunch at the weekends. There is live music most Saturdays - why not grab a drink or two and listen to some local musicians? They also do cocktails!”

Café
“Perfect for rainy days, the art cafe is a wonderful little pottery painting cafe in the stunning town of Kingsbridge. Pick out an item (eg plate, mug, money pot etc) and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a snack whilst creating your masterpiece. Once complete they need a couple of days to put your pottery through the kiln to get the glossy finish, so try and book early in your trip so you have time to come back to collect your items. Alternatively they can send them home to you.”

Night Club
“If you absolutely MUST go to a club while you're here, it may as well be 'Coast'. It's not really the most salubrious of venues but it does stay open late and is reasonably inoffensive as nightclubs go. Anyone over the age of 20 will feel old. You've been warned. ”
