“You can walk on the south side of the river Thames from Kingston to about Thames Ditton or all the way to Hampton Court on the north side. There are many riverside restaurants in Kingston, walk, cycle or even run along the path. Experience the varied 'boat life' cruising down the Thames, ranging from the rowers practising for their next race, to the small motorboats, to the much larger 'gin palaces' of the more well-to-do. There are also restaurants and pubs at the Hampton Court end (mainly in East Molesey across the river); and, of course, Hampton Court itself. If you don't want to walk both ways, you can take the train back to Hampton.”
