  • Even we didn't meet in person, the communication went well. Of course we really enjoyed staying in this comfortable apartment. Especially the instructions on how everything works (wifi, netflix, heating, bus schedules etc. ) turned out very helpful. My highlights are the guitar and the picture of The Beatles!

The kitchen was spacious with phenomenal extras and the bedroom was extremely comfy with adorable decor. Easy access to and from the bus with great direction by Glenn himself.

    Nicolas2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in Glenn's place with my girlfriend over the weekend and from the moment Glenn welcomed me to the day I checked out I was very happy with everything. His guest house is nothing less than beautiful, he's made sure to add all the amenities one could possibly need and his attention to detail is second to none. The place is not only beautifully decorated but it also immaculate, never have I stayed in such a clean apartment. Although the location is slightly out of the way with regards to the city center, there are plenty of things to do around the area with cinemas, shopping center and restaurants only a short 10 minutes drive away. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay at his place as there is no other place that I have stayed in that comes remotely close to his lovely apartment.

  • My 12 year old daughter wanted to go on an overnight trip with her 2 besties for her birthday.... to say that the cabin was perfect is an understatement... the girls were outdoors the whole time ... visiting the rabbits, collecting eggs from the hen house, playing on the zip line and treehouse... the cabin was beautiful and so cozy despite the freezing temperatures outside... the location was ideal for the activities we had planned (Horseriding and archery). The facilities in the cabin were perfect for catering for my little group ... the 3 slept in the bed and I was on a Fold up bed It was a very special trip and there was lovely touches such as birthday balloons, eggs and milk - Claire and Jonathan were so helpful with any questions This was a very special trip for 3 young ladies from the city to enjoy the Wicklow hills away from phones and technology (I told them there was no coverage but there is WiFi if you want it). I cannot recommend this cabin highly enough.. when 3 12 year olds want to club together to pay for an extra night you know they liked it! My daughter and I will be back I hope in the Spring and apparently also again for her 13th birthday Thanks to Claire & Jonathan for a wonderful stay!

  • Great stay and even better hosts. From the first moment I entered the house, I felt welcome and warmly received. The house is incredible, you can appreciate a family atmosphere, close and warm. Every stay is wonderful, there is no detail missing. But the best of all is them, they make the stay even better. Whenever I have needed help they have offered it to me. I have felt like one of the family. I'll definitely come back...

I couldn’t have asked for a better host than her! Her place was very lovely, and made us feel at home when we could come back for the day from exploring the country. The bust stop is close and buses straight to the city run every few minutes with a travel time of 30 min. There’s stuff to see in Cabinteely as well, such as the lovely park. A shopping centre can be found in the neighbourhood, as well as pubs and restaurants further down the road. If you’re staying for a longer period of time, you’ll love the washing machine - just remember to turn on the air dehumidifier, otherwise your laundry will never dry. Don’t hope for a great view out of the window (it’s just a suburban street), watch the TV instead, it has a great selection of channels to keep you entertained on a rainy day. All in all, a gret place to stay!

  • Bryan and his family was very kind and lovely. He helped me a lot what to see in the neighborhood. The room met my needs, it was very compact and clean. I highly recommend this accomodation.

  • This is a great studio room with everything you might need. It is on a quiet street, yet 5mn from a Dunnes supermarket and the bus stop. So it's handy to UCD and TCD. Bryan is a lovely and welcoming host. I would 100% recommend!

    Audrey2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Bryan and his family were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The room has a separate entrance so it's private, small but very cozy. Communication with Bryan was smooth, he's an extremely helpful chap. This is what I call Irish hospitality!

    Jaakko2018-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • small but nice place, separated from the main house provided a private space, very nice accommodation.

  • Bryan is the best person I could meet in Ireland. I had a really bad experience when I arrived and he helped me with everything. He helped me with all the tramits I needed to do and he was really kindly. That’s the best hostman I’ve ever met in Airbnb. As the room, it has all the things you need and it’s very comfortable, you can have as much contact with the family as you want.

    Lucía2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Absolute gentleman of a host and lovely place, would absolutely recommend!

    James2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Bryan is a kind and considerate host. His house is very clean and the studio perfect for a single traveler. I had everything I needed and more. Bryan also took the time to drive me to the supermarket that is just few minutes walking from the house. The neighbourhood area is green and provides everything you might need. in I was in Dublin only one day for a conference, so I cannot say much more, but the transport to and from Bryan's place was ideal, the bus quick and with frequent connections. Highly recommended!

Kiltipper is on the foothills of the Dublin mountains close to the border with Wicklow, it's a great place to go for long walks with my little dog. The air is fresh and when the weather is good the views can be spectacular

  • Peter was very welcoming and friendly (as was his little dog Tilly!). Room was clean and comfortable, have booked again for my business trip next week!

    Lee2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Peter is extremely accommodating and very hospitable. He may smoke a little bit, but if you ask politely, he’ll gladly keep it outdoors, but personally wasn’t a problem.

  • The location of the house is perfect to visit Dublin and Wicklow mountains at the same time, as it takes very little time to get to both places. Bray itself is a really nice place for a weekend, and this house is situated in a quiet area just a couple of minutes far from the beach and restaurants. The house is full of beautiful paintings and the decoration is really nice. Everything was tidy and clean. But best of all was that they made us feel at home. We will repeat

  • The Rose Cottage was by far the most beautiful Airbnb I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in them all over the world. I wish that we'd had more time there!

    Leah2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The Rose Cottage is absolutely perfect! Tanya has thought of every little detail. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer!

    Terra2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tanya's place is lovely! There is a very large kitchen with everything you need to cook. The living area has two comfortable couches with a nice TV capable of streaming Netflix (we streamed from our account on our phone). There are two bathrooms (one ensuite) which are both very clean and nicely decorated with extras like shampoo. The bed was comfortable and we woke up to the sound of birds, cows, and sheep. We didn't use the upstairs area as there were only two of us. The location is great for accessing the Wicklow mountains and surrounding area. Check-in and check-out were also a breeze thanks to easy communication with Tanya. Overall a great one night stay for us!

Split Rock Cabin Built in 1958 and kept alive over time by previous owners and nearly left to ruin until now. I have restored this cabin to a very pleasant and warm space to stay and relax in. You will definitely leave feeling relaxed and chilled. The perfect getaway from the hustle of life. Deers, squirrels, lakes, rivers and mountains. All on your door with spectacular views. The Cabin is named after a giant rock deposited by a glacier just a couple of metres from cabin. Enjoy your stay.
You will not find an original cabin like this anywhere in Ireland. A chance to stay in a real wooden cabin that has withstood 62 years of weather and still survived. It's a magical place to spend time.
Located 2 miles from the Wicklow Way and 3 miles from Powerscourt Waterfall. Enniskerry Village and Powerscourt Gardens are 10 minutes drive. Glencree Reconciliation Centre is 2 kilometres away at the top of Glencree Valley with one of the best views in Wicklow. This former 19th Century British Army Barracks now has the Armoury Cafe & Gift Shop which sell local produce and crafts. Visit the Lourdes Grotto and the German War Cemetery where 135 German military servicemen and civilians are buried. Six were prisoners of war who died while interned in Ireland during the First World War. Others were victims of air and naval disasters of the Second World War. Crone Wood, Lough Tay (Guinness Lake) and Powerscourt Waterfall all only a few minutes away. Drive up the Military Road to the Guinness Lake, one of set locations for theTV series “Vikings” Kattegat village and the setting for the story of Ragnar Lothbrok, a legendary Norse hero, a mere farmer who rises up to become a fearless warrior and commander of the Viking tribes.
  • Hi there, Thank you very much for the nice stay. It was awesome to have this incredible view while having diner and breakfast or when we just opened our eyes in the morning after a peaceful sleep with the best white noise sound system ever - real rain drops. Eventhough we just stayed one night, we felt so relaxed afterwards. Don is very kind and gives cool recommendations for hikes. All the best

    Ben2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Don's cabin is absolutely beautiful and very close to Dublin. It is surrounded by the mystical lights and has an amazing view of the mountains. Even though in the countryside the fire keeps the cabin cozy and has all the amenities needed. Don was very approachable and helped with anything needed. with The constant sound of the river flowing it is the perfect location to get away for some peace and quiet. Will definitely be back Don. Thank you.

Small wooden recently refurbished cottage in my garden with its own separate entrance. Suitable for 3 travellers in a quiet residential area, about a mile from main street, Bray. Convenient to DART bus service is outside the estate. Fully self contained, with electric shower, washing machine dryer, iron & ironing board, microwave, TV, and free wireless broadband. Parking area. You’ll love my place because of the quiet private cosiness & the location, near sea, mountain walks and town!
We live in a quiet 5 bedded bungalow, myself and my son. I work part time as a Nurse/Psychotherapist/ Nutrition coach and Teacher - Depends what day - what hat I wear!! My son Matthew is 18 years old and loves music. We have 2 very friendly little rescue dogs, Dumpy ( called that by the guy who rescued him, because he was dumped out of a car!) and Loo Loo! ; and of course also our affectionate cat Tuddie! The cottage is situated in my garden and is a warm and comfortable space to get way from it all! It consists of a sleeping area for 2 - 3 people, small kitchenette and ensuite bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has everything needed to cook with small fridge and washing machine and dryer. The Cottage also has its own separate entrance from the my home so you can be as independent as you would like!
Our house is located in a lovely green quiet up-scale safe neighbourhood close to all local shops and 2 minutes by car to the Main Street in Bray which is very close to the sea front/promenade where there are numerous pubs and restaurants to choose from. Our part of the country is called The Garden of Ireland and is very close to the Wicklow Mountain National Park with the famous Glendalough.
  • Nice and clean. Very private and no intrusions of any sort. Would definitely visit again.

Our off-grid Tiny House is nestled in amongst a grove of pine trees in the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. With an airy loft bed space, large kitchen and complete tiny bathroom, our cute little cottage in the country is the perfect place to relax. 45 min drive into the heart of Dublin City or short train ride. Close to lots of walking trails. Popular cycling route. 5 min drive from town.
Tiny House living means a more simple way of living, however walking into the space it feels much bigger than expected. The cosy bedroom loft has a roof window so you can watch the stars at night or the birds and clouds float passed during the day. Simply slide the ladder across the rail to climb up into the loft sleeping space! A small fridge, oven, stove and everything else you need to make a big feast, in a small house! Our Tiny House is very well insulated and has gas fire to keep you cosy in the Winter. The house is fully off grid and runs on solar electricity and rain fall tank water (we recommend to bring your own drinking water), compost toilet, gas heating and cooking. NOTE: Because this is an off-grid house there is a chance one of the systems may not work (e.g. if there has not been sun for a long time the solar battery will have no power). The house is equipped with a trouble-shooting guide to assist if this is the case. It is all part of the fun of the off-grid experience!
The Wicklow Mountains are beautiful with lots of walking trails and natural sites. The Lane our tiny house is on is a beautiful walk on its own, and we have a lovely view of Sugarloaf Mountain. It is a very peaceful area with lots of birds and trees. 5 min drive to Newtown MountKennedy, a small town with a Dunnes Store supermarket and restaurants. 10 min walk to Djouce Golf Club 17 min drive to Guinness Lake 24 min drive to Glendalough 15 min drive to the ocean (Greystones) 40 min drive into Dublin City or a short train ride from Greystones Station
  • The place is unbelievable. It's cozy unconnected and all you need to enjoy a great time on the calm Wicklow. Evething around and perfect.. the communication was good with the owners and the staff.

    Andres2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house is very cozy and comfortable. U got everything u need here and there are so many attractions to see. We definitely want to come back and stay longer.

    Marco2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny house is perfect for discovering Ireland. In addition to charming accommodation, walking and cycling are close by, as are Dublin's pubs. I recommend !

  • Great place, full of love. One of the most special Airbnb's ever!!

    Michel2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the lovely tiny house und the beautiful natural surrounding!

    Adina2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny home is beautiful, scenic, and charming, with more than enough amenities to make an off-grid experience surpass most other plugged-in homes. The home is remote yet ideally located within the Wicklow mountains, an easy distance from neighboring towns and hikes. The care which the owners put into its design, construction, and maintenance is apparent in every detail. We would highly recommend this space to anyone interested in staying in Wicklow!

    Henry2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Emma’s place is a little piece of calm: a great opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. It is beautiful up in the mountains where the tiny house is! The tiny house is really cosy and welcoming. It has thoughtful little touches and decor that make you feel at home. It is well equipped and there is lots of information on local things to do (which is great when you’re there to do a bit of hiking/sightseeing). We would definitely come back!

    Scott2019-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Emma was always available, if you had questions and knew everything a quick answer! The cottage itself was really cute and we felt like in our own little cottage Sweden! For people who want to experience a first Tiny House experience (like us), "The Rocks" is really recommended!

Welcome to our country cabin in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains and Blessington Lakes region. We hope you enjoy this home away from home as part of your visit to the "Garden of Ireland". Only a 20-minute drive to Glendalough and 15 minutes to Blessington, you will be situated in a convenient location for exploring our beautiful county. The cabin was built by Ed, with the help of family and friends, and we are both excited to host you. You will have the entire cabin to yourself.
You will have the cabin to yourselves, which boasts a dual aspect veranda to enjoy the sunset and stars. There is a double bed with a luxurious memory foam mattress and an electric blanket to help ease your tired muscles after enjoying one of the many walks in the area. There is also a futon which could sleep an extra 2 people, but for maximum comfort, we would recommend the cabin for two 2 guests, or 2 adults and 1 child. The comfortable bathroom has a walk-in shower with on-demand hot water. There is a grill-oven with double hob, toaster, kettle and fridge freezer so that you can prepare meals if you wish. Salt and pepper, tea and coffee, cooking oil and milk will be waiting should you wish to use them. A comfortable living and dining area with gas-fired stove and electric heater will help to warm you on those chilly nights.
We are situated down a small country lane, at the end of which you can access the lake on foot. The area is extremely quiet, with no traffic noise. The only sounds you might here are the chickens, cows, sheep, and sometimes of deer.
  • Lovely quaint cabin , spotless clean and very thoughtful hosts , a well stocked kitchen means rustling up a meal is easy , CD player with a selection of cds to listen too. 20 min drive from Glendalough which is beautiful to visit even in the rain !

The cutest dishwasher I've ever had, but it does what it should ;-) Check-in and out were very easy, Audrey is a friendly host and is always happy to answer any questions or suggestions. Thanks for the snacks and the delicious jam. The information about the bus and supermarket has already been described several times. Highly recommended as a location for travelers who want to discover Dublin and the Wicklow Mountains. The next time I want to travel to the Dublin area, reunion is not out of the question if availability is given. The information about the bus and supermarket has already been described several times

Pleasant single rooms in a quiet secluded estate in cul de dac in Bray co wicklow. You will stay in a family home near Bray centre with many bars and restaurants all walking distance. You might like to visit our local theatre and see a good play or listen to great live music in the many pubs in the town .the craic can be mighty.enjoy
Rooms are in a great seaside town in Bray and near the wicklow mountains You might like to climb the sugarloaf mountain or walk the cliff walk from Bray to greystones don't forget your walking boots
Bray is a lovely seaside town about an hour away by bus from Dublin or 30 minutes on the dart and one hour from wexford by train
  • Pat and Ann are the warmest, most wonderful hosts. They became friends the week I was there. I learned a lot about Ireland from them. Bray was my favorite place in Ireland. Beautiful hikes, good food, easy bus transport, great charity shops. Mostly, I enjoyed spending time with Ann and Pat.

    Wendy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Patrick and Anne are great hosts and did everything they could to make us feel at home for our long stay. The location is great, its proximity to public transit made going into Bray and Dublin easy and painless. I’m very glad to have stayed here!

    Madison2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at Patrick's place was great! It was in a very quiet neighborhood, it was very nice to take a walk in the morning to go to the seafront. When he can, Patrick offered himself to take me to the seafront by car. All his family was very kind. Really nothing bad to say, I also had breakfast in the morning. I couldn't ask for nothing more. :)

    Alessio2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Bray is an attractive seaside town with excellent train and bus connections to Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock and Stillorgan. There are a great many small Shops, charity Shops and Cafes, and some decent Pubs, plus an excellent promenade along the Seafront. Patrick and Anne live a little way out of town, probably 15 minutes by foot, but the 145 bus goes through Bray and then on to Dublin, and normally arrives every 10 minutes, and the Bus Stop is about 200 hundred yards from Pat's front door, and there is also a local shop where necessities can be bought Patrick was always willing to offer the daily paper or a cup of tea, and tried to make me feel welcome, for a stay which lasted over 2 months and where we had really no problems. Anne organised everything else, I had access to a washing machine and the lounge, with a personal fridge and some space to keep anything which I bought to eat or drink. The bedroom was relatively small, but comfortable and equipped with a small computer table from which I could do some work when necessary All in all very good hosts and a very pleasant location

  • This is the last stop of our more than 10 days of travel. We need a quiet and comfortable place to rest. The next morning we will go to the airport. Catherine has received us very warmly. It is a pity that we only stayed for one night. The community in which the house is located is very quiet and the scenery is very beautiful. You can go to the nearby lake area to relax.

Situated in picturesque Killiney, South of Dublin, located in a quiet neighbourhood. Dalkey is a 20 minute walk, with its many pubs & restaurants.
  • Lovely spot with a glorious view out over Dublin Bay. We had a terrific 11-day stay. Vivienne is every bit what one would hope for from a SuperHost. She picked us up from the bus and gave us a quick tour of Dalkey, provided varied and ample supplies for breakfasts (and replenished these--after asking about our preferences--halfway through our stay); she also freshened up the place and provided fresh linens and towels halfway into our stay. Everything was very clean and there were even fresh flowers. It's also worth mentioning that it was incredibly quiet (we woke to birdsong each day). Dalkey was a great jumping-off point for exploring busy Dublin--an easy DART commuter train ride away. Thanks for everything, Vivienne. We would highly recommend you and your place to any visitor to Dublin.

  • Very friendly host. The cottage was very clean and there where beautyfull fresh flowers. Also a lot of food waiting for us in the fridge.

  • We spent our honeymoon here and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Vivienne‘s place was sparkling clean, and cupboards and fridge fed us for days. The appartment is located in a very nice, quiet, safe and sophisticated area and is even better than on the photos. The incredible view overwhelmed us again and again. On top of that, communication with Vivienne was always very quick, she gave us the best local tips, which never disappointed us, and we even got to spend a lovely evening with her which we really treasure. Vivienne is a very kind and generous host and we will definitely book here again if we come back to visit stunning Ireland!

  • The house is amazing and the views are breathtaking! Everything was immaculate, Vivienne was really welcoming despite we got there late because our flight was delayed. She showed us the house and gave us some information maps so we could go visiting the morning after. The kitchen has everything you could need. We had a lovely experience! We would come back for sure! 100% recommended!!! Thanks Vivienne!

  • Wonderful stay again! Always happy to help :)

  • Can't recommend more this unique gem in the heart of South Dublin! We used to live in the city for a very long time and we thought we know Dalkey and Dun Laoghaire, but this time it was like re-discovering your fav places again! Vivienne is an amazing host and will look after you well. The place is spotlessly clean and the views are second to none. Just enjoy the moment when you stay there.

    Filip2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Despite a slight mishap with communication, we had a great stay at Vivienne’s. The place has a great view and was easy to get to. We especially enjoyed the groceries and snacks that were left for us!

    Staisha2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Vivienne's place was fantastic. Best Air BNB I've ever stayed at! Her hospitality was second to none - pictures were exactly the same as the apartment. Flowers smelled lovely and she had essentials stocked in the kitchen so that you could catch your breath before running out. Lots of great tips for sights to see around the area! I cannot say enough about this lovely apartment and it's tremendous host! I will most definitely be back!!
