Walk to The Acropolis From a Bright Koukaki Flat

Defined by its sleek design elements, light wood floors, and smart furnishings, this glowing flat emits an airy, serene tenor. Cook dinner in a modern kitchen with trendy light fixtures and dine at a quaint bistro table on the charming balcony. Feel the sun as it shines in the master bedroom early in the morning and smell the bitter oranges from the trees on the street. Experience this bright Koukaki flat. The apartment is on the second floor and has been fully renovated on August 2017. In the apartment there are two bedrooms, one living room, one fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom and two small balconies. The kitchen is opposite the living area in an open space layout, that automatically lends itself to relaxing after a long day at the museums. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped and serves as a perfect breakfast and dining area. The living room is spacious, has a flat screen TV and leads to a small charming balcony, where you can enjoy an evening drink. The master bedroom is spacious and bright with large window openings. In the second bedroom there are two single beds. Its main colors are warm grey and white and the wooden elements make you feel like home. Both bedrooms and the living room have ACs, so there are 3 ACs in the apartment, which make your stay super comfortable. You can access your Netflix account, so you can watch your favourite series and feel like home! Towels, bed linen and covers as well as bath supplies are available for you. In the kitchen you will find two coffee machines - one espresso machine (Nespresso) and one filter coffee machine. Capsules for the Nespresso machine as well as filter coffee and tea are available for you. I love meeting and talking to people from different countries and cultures! Feel free to ask me anything you like before you arrive in Athens and of course while you are staying in the apartment. I will make sure you have everything you need. The apartment is in Koukaki, an up-and-coming enclave of Athens peppered with trendy restaurants, cafes, and nightlife spots. Central cultural attractions, like The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, are minutes away on foot. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the Syggrou-Fix subway and 7 mins walk from the Acropolis subway. The tram is 1 minute walk and the bus station "Olympiaki" 4 minutes walking distance, right at the Syggrou avenue. There are several buses that pass from this station with destinations into the centre of Athens or towards the southern coast of Athens. The area is very central so finding a taxi is really easy. You can always book a taxi by phone or internet. The "Beat" application available for mobile phones and tablets is recommended. The majority of car rental agencies are located on Syngrou avenue nearby, so picking up a car is super easy. You can park for free on the street in our neighbourhood, but I wouldn't suggest renting a car while you are here. The apartment is centrally located and you can go anywhere by foot. There is a super market near the apartment, only 40 meters away. There is also a pharmacy in the same building as well as a hairdressers. If you would like a haircut or a blow-dry let them know you are staying with us!

Cleanliness and professionalism have always been top priority for us but due to Covid 19 we now require some time between reservations to properly ventilate and disinfect the house in accordance to CDC protocols, linen is washed in high temperature, and we provide protective equipment such as latex gloves, masks, disinfectant, soap, toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. A small , quiet and convinient apartment in the oldest neighborhood of modern Athens, Koukaki. It is just under the hill of Filopappou and Acropolis, walking distance from new Acropolis museum, Plaka,Thisio, Monasthraki, Syntagma Squαre, national Garden and most of historical monuments.Near to all public transport. Dear future guests, I have been a host since 2013 and I can tell you with certainty that this Neoclassical House is one of the very few that is a real Traditional High ceiling house which means a rare experience for you.
