“Get more backgroubd at Angkor National Museum! Put it all into context at this comprehensive museum, which explores the Buddhist and Hindu treasures found at the nearby temple sites and tells the full story of the powerful Angkor civilisation. As the museum gives an overview, rather than detailed explanations of the early Khmer royals and their grand schemes, it might be better to go before you visit the Angkor complex. Opening times: Daily, 8.30am – 6pm, (until 6.30pm 1 Oct to 30 Apr). Location: 968 Charles de Gaulle Blvd. Price: Adults $12, Children under 1.2m $6.”

Performing Arts Venue
“The Park entrance is $ 12, but it's worth it. A huge, well-kept area in the open air, where the traditional settlements of peoples inhabiting South-East Asia-Vietnam, China, Burma, are traditional houses, fishing village. In each small "village" are on the schedule of themed shows, we especially liked chemerka wedding ceremony. - definitely worth a look, even if you are not a fan of Khmer culture. On-site dining options include ice cream and soft drinks. Miniatures of famous historical buildings are presented. Do not forget to bring your camera, as places for photos here is not less than in the Angora temples”

“When you dine at Malis Restaurant, not only do you get to savor delicious Cambodian cuisine, you also consume an important story. During the 1970’s under the Khmer Rouge, many of Cambodia’s traditional recipes that had been passed on for centuries were forgotten and vanished from the kitchen. Malis was born in 2004 out of the desire and passion to restore Cambodian cuisine to its former glory and put Cambodia back on the map as a culinary destination. Renowned for its fresh seasonal produce, delicate flavours and generous hospitality Master Chef Luu Meng and his team, decided to revive Cambodian cuisine from the past, adapt it to the present and preserve it for the future.”
