“Rice wine is a part of Khmer culture, and a stop here is a must-do in Southside Siem Reap. Sombai create infused rice wine, as well as alcoholic jams and great gifts (such as handpainted bottles and glasses). There are a range of items to buy that are some of the best, and most unique gifts you can take home. Importantly, the free tour here is super fun...they will show you the wine with fruit and spices infusing upstairs, and if you are lucky you might get to see an artist hand-painting a bottle. The free tour allows you to taste the full range of wines and jams and the whole visit will take about 30-60 minutes.”

“Awesome little cafe not far from Stay Savvie, that is open 24 hours (yes!) and also delivers to our hotel. I'm in love with the Avocado Salad that has their own special recipe for vinaigrette dressing”

Grocery Store
“Lucky Mall is the most popular shopping mall in Siem Reap, conveniently located on Sivatha Boulevard. There are 3 floors and an underground car park. On the ground floor, you’ll find several small shops, an ice cream parlor and Lucky Supermarket. ATM’s and a pharmacy are available here as well. On the first floor there are more shops and Lucky Burger, Cambodia’s famous fast food chain. On the second floor, the most popular venue is Lucky Shabu House, an all-you-can-eat restaurant which is very popular with both locals and tourists. This floor also has a large stationery store.”

“Park Hyatt's cafe. Great place to stop and have an espresso or a scoop of gelato after a hot day at the temples!”

Hospital
“We hope you never have to go, but this is a decent local clinic in case you need one. Any more serious, head for the international hospital.”
