Lake
“The lake is in a volcanic crater with a small island on it. It has spectacular views from the surrounding mountains. You can take boat tours or have lunch on one of the surrounding restaurants. There are restaurants on the rim looking down as well as restaurants at water level. Water is very clear. Lots of houses to rent and even a few small hotels.”

Park
“A few minutes away in taxi or by car or bus will . I would suggest to get there in the afternoon. You can watch local people gathering at the park to take a cup of coffee. If you walk around you will find multiple pupuserias and handmade products. My favorite places to eat pupusas are "Senkali" for fancy and new flavor pupusas. If you like to taste something less touristy try "Pupuseria Iris". ”
