Top bars

Irish Pub
“They have a roof top that features several "food trucks". If the weather is nice, it's a golden spot. It's also a great spot to catch some night life.”

Bar
“I’m not a huge fan of this place but other people are. New place made to look old, but no way it should be called a “Pub”. ”

Bar
“Elegant décor. Lively vibe, but not excessively noisy. Great for people-watching. Gayest of the unofficial gay bars, (which includes pretty much all of Lancaster's nicer bars, apart from the official one of course). Live music upstairs at Crazy Shirley’s some nights. Open til 2 am without fail 364 nights a year.”

American Restaurant
“Dating back to the early 1900's speakeasy times, this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Lancaster city. Tucked away in a quaint alley, it's charm & great food make it a very special dining experience! 5 min Uber ride or 17 min walk, (6) blocks if you cut through the cemetery) ”

“A 10 minute walk from the property, great menu selection, outdoor seating, and local beer! ”

Bar
“This is actually just a really good quality "regular bar", but I include it here because one of the managers, Steve Wood, is a world-class, award winning mixologist. Consequently, the on-menu cocktails are way above average, and you have maybe a 50-50 chance of being served by someone who will create and personalize vs just following recipes. ”

“This place is a local brewery and has some great, heavy-hitting beers. Try She-Monster and Big Gruesome (our two favorites). This center-city location is great for the downtown vibe. Check out their brewery location for a different experience!”
