“The beautiful waterfalls are located right across the Switzerland border which is not far from the guest house. There is an entry fee to see the falls but it is a nice afternoon trip. Here is a money saving tip: You must have a Swiss vignette for your car to drive on the Autobahns in Switzerland. This costs approximately 40€. BUT if you take the side roads (set your GPS to non-highway roads) you can access the Rhinefalls without ever going on the Swiss Autobahn after leaving the German border, therefore not having to buy the vignette. If you have any questions about this, just ask us!”

“Take a 30- or 60-minute walk on the adventure trail and experience the Rhine Falls up close. Then stroll through the exhibition in Schloss Laufen. You'll have an unforgettable day. Experience all the sounds of water, from gentle trickling to vibrations and thunder, as you discover fountains, water drop listening posts, a tunnel walkway carved out of the rocky cliff and a 25-metre path winding down to the Känzeli. From its majestic position atop the cliffs, Schloss Laufen looks down upon the unique beauty and attractions offered by this special destination. Don’t miss it.”
