Zoo
“Central Park is like a mini city on its own! It has free playgrounds, bikes to rent, carnival rides, street artists, food trucks. The cream of the crop is the zoo! It does come at a cost, but is worth it! We highly recommend you spend at least half a day here!”

Art Museum
$$
“For ambience, the Frick Collection tops the list when it comes to New York City museums. Housed in an early 1900s mansion, the building and the original collection were donated by Henry Clay Frick, who had the mansion built to display his art collection. The artwork, which includes a mix of paintings, porcelain, and furniture, is beautifully laid out in sixteen galleries. On display are works by Monet, Rembrandt, Bellini, El Greco, and many other famous artists. The collections are not laid out according to period, artist, or country, but in a more random fashion designed for enjoyment. Rooms surround a beautiful covered Garden Court, with tropical plants and a central pond. Address: 1 East 70th Street, New York, New York”

“One of the most luxurious stretches of retail in the country, Fifth Avenue is the main artery of New York City's shopping scene, having welcomed a steady stream of fashion mavens for over 100 years. From catwalk copycats to bargain hunters, buyers flock to this section of Midtown (between 49th and 60th streets) to shop for it all. And with mass brands like Victoria's Secret and Abercrombie & Fitch, upscale department stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and multinational retailers like H&M, Zara and Uniqlo, the thoroughfare quite literally offers something for everyone. The shops there sell more than just apparel: Fifth Avenue is also home to the 24-hour flagship Apple Store.”

Italian Restaurant

“Amazing Italian restaurant - try the meatballs as an appetizer and pretty much any pasta on the menu is amazing. :) If the weather is nice, you can ask to be seated in the open outdoor patio in the back. This place is good for groups of 2-3 people max and there is often a short wait, but it's worth the wait and it's a nice area to walk around in to kill time. :)”

“The posh, residential Upper East Side is known for its wealthy denizens, fancy restaurants and designer shops along Madison Avenue. It's a pretty neighborhood, with a mix of classic brownstones and upscale high-rises. Museum Mile, a stretch of 5th Avenue next to Central Park, draws crowds to cultural institutions that include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and El Museo del Barrio.”
