Doctor's Office
“(Take the bus “L” from Nino Bixio street in La Spezia, very closed to La Spezia train station. In 25 minutes you’ll be in San Terenzo and you can walk to Lerici, 2km). In summer time simply use the ferry boats from Monterosso-Portovenere-Lerici. Along the promenade of San Terenzo-Lerici, you can find several beaches. The view on the Gulf of the Poets is amazing. Through the centuries, many famous poets, writers and artists spent their holidays or part of their life in the villages of this gulf. We remind some of the famous writers who loved this place: the writer David Herbert Lawrence, the poet Lord Byron, the writer Percy Bysshe Shelley and the Italian writers Petrarca, Montale etc. ”

Castle
“Near La Spezia you can find the charming bay of Lerici with its Genoese castle (thirthteenth-sixteenth century) which was an extension of an earlier medieval castle. In the castle you can visit a very old chapel dedicated to Sant'Anastasia (1250). Lerici castle houses also the Museum of Geopalaeontology, which was set after the discovery of prehistoric remains in the area. The Lerici Castle Museum of Geopalaeontology is closed on Monday.”
