“The best apple pie in town – with or without whipped cream. If you're lucky (and that's most of the time), the pie is still warm from the oven. Combine your visit to Winkel 43 with a stroll on the Noordermarkt (market) on Mondays or Saturdays.”

“You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Bar Brandstof, which can be found on the corner of the Marnixstraat and Rozengracht. Ease into your day at Brandstof with a homemade granola with yoghurt or grab a takeaway coffee if you're in a rush. There are also healthy sandwiches on the menu made with spelt bread or 'boerenlandbrood' (farm-style bread) from the bakery Van Menno. ”

“Cafe Nol, is a typical Dutch bar, where you will only find locals. Our Dutch legend singer André Hazes, use to visit this place frequently. Nice to visit but unfortunately you won't be able to sing along, since they only play dutch music!”

“"Our terrace is comfortable and pleasant where you can take place on the Prinsen as well as on the Brouwersgracht! The benches we put around our building during the Amsterdam terrace season will be provided with large soft pillows on the beautiful days so that everyone can enjoy the view in comfort. There are also pillows on the roof above the kitchen. From this wonderful hangout is the crossroads, the canal, the street as well as the bar to oversee !!!! During Queen's Day and the Gay Parade you have the best view of the canal and the boats on this corner".”
