The landlord a very warm and good, clean and spacious room, great room can stay for a family of three people, which in addition to King size bed as well as a single bed for a child can sleep, from Six Flags amusement park less than 10 minutes away from the naval base of nearly 20 minutes from the surrounding shopping, restaurants easy; this is my first book a room on this platform, the overall feel good, give five stars!

Ron was a great host. Very nice, hospitable, made sure my stay was comfortable. (Great communication.) The basement bedroom is ideal for a good night's sleep: good AC, quiet, and no windows make sleeping in easy (it stays dark). When you want light, it has ample indoor lighting. The location is nice, too. Not highly developed -- so you can appreciate a bit of countryside. But also close enough to some development that it's easy to get food or other necessary items. And his dog is adorable.

I had a fine stay at Ron's place. No problems with the common areas. I had a large room to my self in the carpeted basement. The lack of windows let me sleep in longer which I liked. Shared bathrooms are up the stairs. I would stay at Ron's again in the future.

Ohhhh man I don't know if I can use nice enough words about Ron and staying at his place! First off me and my friend had a bunch of odd little computer issues with booking the room but Ron never got frustrated or upset with us and resolved the issue perfectly! We were so so thankful for that! His house was lovely and in a quiet and nice neighborhood. At the door we were greeted by the adorable and friendly dog!! We felt very comfortable staying there and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to stay! Amazing first Airbnb experience!!

It was great staying at Jon's place, it is located in a quiet neighborhood but not from Gurnee malls. Check in was breeze, and Jon's a great communicator. I would highly recommend.

Can't beat the value, the location close to shopping, food, and the workplace I was visiting. Ron and his family were gracious hosts, giving me the freedom to go to work early, and have long work days. I'm grateful for their hospitality.

This has to be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Ron was so welcoming, he even bought wine for my first night there for us to say hello. Unfortunately, I didn't get to have a drink, I was asleep so quickly after a long day of travel. He always responded very quickly whenever I had any questions. For those sensitive to noise, Ron has a dog that barks a lot. Ron was a wonderful and responsive host. There were a lot of details regarding check in and entry to the home that were problematic, and Ron was rarely there.

Ron definitely makes an effort to accommodate the needs of his guests and strives to maintain the peace between the various occupants in his home. He is also a very nice individual and is easy to get along with. Everything in the house was extremely clean and well maintained. I had no issues with accessing or using common spaces since everyone more or less kept to themselves. I very much enjoyed my stay as the room was exactly as described and very comfortable. The best part of this experience was hanging out with his dog Coco! The only negative would be the thin walls in the apartment. Of course, there's not much that Ron could do to fix this. If there was a way to fix this, I'm sure he would try to as he seems very motivated to give his guests a satisfactory experience. I would definitely stay again if I am in the area!

Very welcoming, especially since I was about a half hour later than expected due to traffic.

Our first time not staying at a hotel was a new experience for us. I love the way Svetlana sets up details and prepares answers for me thru text before the day of travel, that gave me an idea of what to expect. The room is pretty much what you see in the picture but keep in mind the bed is low (I'll have to learn to notice details like that in the future). We came home after a late event and sat out on Svetlana and Igor's deck and it was really nice back there. Got some mosquito bites but they also had a living area inside for us to retreat to. We made ourselves at home and truly enjoyed staying in this house.

Svetlana is a person who really enjoys receiving guests at home. At home you can enjoy a clean, quiet and safe stay. I am very grateful for your attentions.

This room was lovely with closet and dresser access. The bathroom was big, beautiful, and kindly stocked full of clean towels and washclothes. Soaps and shampoos were provided. Svetlana was a lovely host. A quick drive to Six Flags!

Svetlana was easy to communicate with. Even though she was not home when we arrived, she texted details to us of how to get into the house. The location is in a quiet cul-de-sac so is very peaceful. It is also close to a great local Italian restaurant. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. When we got to meet Svetlana, she was friendly and welcoming.

Our stay was comfortable. Everything was clean and as in the pictures. The bedroom might benefit from a thermostat but it was all warm under the blanket so it didn't bother us much. It's at a convenient drive to six flags and is located in a quiet neighborhood.

Although I didn't manage to meet Svetlana, she responded to all of my emails and helped make me feel at home for the night that I stayed. The location was also ideal for a drive to Six Flags the next morning.

Svetlana's house was delightful. The pictures don't quite do it justice. An artsy kitchen and living room, and a beautiful room to stay in. My husband I visited as a mini-getaway, and it was definitely to our satisfaction. The upstairs bathroom, though shared, still felt private. Our room was very large, tucked away at the end of the hall and tastefully decorated. We loved our stay—it was wonderful talking to Svetlana and it was a great launch-point for our little day-excursions.

Russell was lovely about hosting us - even making sure that my car didn't get ticket when I parked it overnight! The basement is very spacious. Plenty of room.

This home is close to everything and yet it feels like your up north at the cabin since it's on a dead end and the lake is so quiet and peaceful. The home is beautiful and just as described. We enjoyed cooking meals in the open kitchen while visiting with everyone else in the dining room and living room. I highly recommend this property and would love to visit again.

This was our first time using AirBnb and I can honestly say it far exceeded my expectations. The home was immaculate, cozy and very homey! The neighborhood was very quiet and the lake views were outstanding! We swam in the lake, played cards on the deck and enjoyed some very much needed family time. Christine left wonderful booklets with restaurant menus and things to do around the home. She also provided sunblock, bug spray, lake toys and access to her raspberry bushes which my husband couldn't stay out of! There were card games, board games.... to much to even mention it all but we will defiantly be visiting her beautiful home again.

Sam's photos are very accurate. It speaks for itself. The place is indeed clean and quiet. Staying there is worth it. There is food/snack you can grab I especially enjoyed the availability of Keurig. Everything you would need is there extra towel, beddings, washer and dryer.The place offers the comforts of your own home. I would definitely recommend Sam's place.

This home was very cozy we came here for our daughters graduation from Bootcamp during thanksgiving so we cooked thanksgiving dinner and the home was well equipped with everything we needed and clean.

Sam forgot to mention the piano. There was food in the pantry and two beers in the icebox!! Everything we needed during our five-day stay was there - including peace and quiet.

Sam it's the reason why Airbnb its taking the Hospitality business by storm. The house is exactly as shown in the photos. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed at Sam's for our nieces graduation from Naval Basic Training and the space worked out very well for us. It was close to graduation and a nice place to be able to visit with our new Sailor. Sam was very pleasant to work with and kept in touch often. We travel frequently and this was a two thumbs up experience for us!! Thanks Sam.

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this charming cottage on airbnb and I am so thankful that we did! Amanda's property was so unbelievably charming. We walked into our cottage and it smelled of fresh linens and lavender. Each cottage was so unique and Amanda was an incredible host. We loved having our own grill, fire pit, beach, local coffee, kayaks, fresh flowers in our room and the list goes on. We will definitely be coming back. We feel so refreshed and content with our stay. I also want to say how amazing it was to see that Amanda is restoring her original family lake resort. Cypress has so much history and love poured into it, and you definitely feel that when you are there. Thank you for everything, Amanda!

Amanda greeted us as we pulled into her resort lakeside. She took the time to show us our cabin as well as all of the other ones and a review of the resort. She went above and beyond all weekend to attend to our every need. Her cabin was exactly as she describes. It was the perfect romantic weekend getaway. We had such a great stay, thank you so much to our host Amanda who was incredibly nice and welcoming. This was my girst airbnb trip. I was desperate to find something fun to do for my birthday but it was on a monday so nowhere looked good. My friend mentioned airbnb so I checked it out and stumbled upon this spot. I am SO happy I did. Amanda had kayaks that we used for an incredible tour around the lakes. The beach is stunning and quiet, she even had a fire pit too. The cottages are super cute and clean. The decor is minimal and beautiful. The people staying in the other cabins were really nice too and we all ended up spending the last night by a fire together chatting about how wonderful our stays were. We will absolutely be back, what a great great birthday! Thank you Amanda!!

My husband and I escaped here for two days on our mini-moon. We couldn't ask for a more laid back, tranquil spot. If we weren't so exhausted, we would've loved to hang with host Amanda more than we had the chance to!

Amanda is the best! She is wonderful, and her cabins reflect that in not only their charm but also in how much she cares about the property. This cottage was perfectly cozy and had everything we wanted & more. We were lucky enough to get the full tour of the resort and can't wait to come back and check out the other cabins she has available.

Donovan lived up to the name "warm and welcoming." He is a very polite and friendly host, but (as I had told him my preference for solitude) also gave me plenty of personal space. I flew in from California and was not used to the cold weather of Illinois, so it was nice that the temperature was always set to a warm comfortable level (I'd guess around 74 degrees). The room had everything I needed-- a big comfortable bed, a large closet with hangers, and a TV with a Chromecast set up. Donovan also invited me to use his X-Box in the living room. The internet speed was more than sufficient for the Netflix I wanted to watch. I did laundry once during my stay and the washer and dryer were both larger than the ones I have at home, so it was nice to get everything in one go. Donovan was kind enough to supply the detergent also. I brought my own food and kept some of it (sealed lentils packages from Costco) in the room with me, using the microwave in the kitchen to heat it up. The neighborhood seemed quiet. The streets aren't as well cleared in the snow as some of the main roads are, so I found my rental car's budget tires slipping a bit, but nothing too serious. I parked my rental alongside Donovan's car in the garage, which was really nice given that it was snowing for a few days of my visit. Space in the garage was a little tight, but definitely workable.

Donovan's place is great for anyone trying to relax and get away from fast-paced life. Easy to access off of main roads makes it perfect for people traveling through for a night or two. Also, Donovan's a pretty cool guy!

Stayed the weekend while househunting. I wasn't around much, returning late and leaving early, but I found Donovan to be a great host. Bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. He let me park in his garage as well.
