“Sunday brunch spot for a true LA experience. Live jazz, rooftop vibes, delicious eats and great drinks. Try the crab Benedict, bread pudding and the sangria. “This is home of the “baco,” the signature flatbread sandwich that was developed by chef Josef Centeno. The original baco was the crispy pork belly and beef carnitas with caraway pepper. ““Sudamerica” is a night at the Continental Downtown. It’s only once a month, and it’s kind of a hidden secret, but it’s starting to take off. They have a live band, really good music, really good vibe, a lot of great people. It’s a little dark, but once your eyes adjust to the darkness it’s a lot of fun. The location is a speakeasy, so all you see outside is a door—you go back around through the alley to enter. You don’t have to sign up, you can just show up. For the schedule, they have a page on Facebook and a website.”
