Rock Club
“The Cavern Club is one of the most famous music clubs in the world and will forever be associated with the Beatles, despite the fact many other bands and musicians have played at the venue including Queen, Adele, The Kinks, Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, Travis and Oasis amongst many others. You can't go to Liverpool without paying it a visit!”

“Get a head for heights and enjoy dinner with a view at Liverpool’s sky-high restaurant. This should be your go-to if you’re looking to impress a date. Only problem is, you’re likely to get distracted by the views. Panoramic 34’s killer location on the 34th floor of the West Tower is the perfect match for its impeccable menu.”

Beer Garden

“We simply can’t make a list of the best places for drinking, dancing and being merry in the Merseyside without including the beloved Kasmier beer garden. This effortlessly cool, creative venue is one of Liverpool’s worst kept secrets. Leave the hustle and bustle of the streets, grab a beer and enjoy eclectic live music on the unique split-level staging. Head on over in Summer when the garden parties are in full swing, get festive in the Winter with the twinkling lights and mulled cider, whatever you do, don’t miss it !”

“Alma de Cuba has always been the city’s most glamourous, stand out venue and a major attraction for visitors and residents alike. Today the bar and restaurant are famed for its extensive Cuban themed cocktail menu and show-stopping weekly entertainment. Every Saturday at 23:00, the petal drop begins, scattering the crowds below in a fabulous floral shower. Then at the stroke of midnight, a floor show unlike any other takes place, as Alma de Cuba’s main stage becomes a platform for Voodoo. Captivating their audience with daring displays of contortionism, dancing and fire breathing, a cast of creepy characters come together to make everyone’s Saturday night out in Liverpool mesmerising.”

“When asked what was the 'Price of Fame'?, John Lennon said "Not being able to have a drink in 'The Phil'." This is 'The Phil'. If you're not famous, 'The Phil' is. It was designed and built to be the most fabulous pub in the world. It is. Well worth a visit.”

“A little-know lair hidden behind a plain black door on Berry Street, be the first of your friends to discover this confidential, for-your-eyes-only speakeasy cocktail bar. The mystery doesn't stop behind the door, even the menu is hidden within the pages of a book. So outsmart the bartenders and play Sherlock as you swagger straight into the bar and grab a novel straight from the shelf. Dimly lit, with low hanging lights and rustic wooden flooring, this bar is cosy and trendy at the same time, and it's your own special secret. Take a date and brush ankles beneath the table, and why not order a cheese platter to share ? Or for a more raucous evening, take some friends and delve into the impressive array of alcohol displayed behind the bar.”

“Born out of many European getaays and visits to New York, the mixologists a Salt Dog Slims have created an experience which winks at German camaraderie whilst draping itself in an American flag and parades around in Scouse nipple tassels. The beers come by the stein and after a few of them, you might not want to ever leave.”

“At the Alchemist they're masters in the dark arts of molecular mixology and demons in the kitchen. Their mixologists create every cocktail with an obsessive eye for detail, presented in vessels orchestrated to add a devilish dash of theatre, they dazzle, bewitch and set the scene for everything they do. Back in 1907 Walter Dixon Scott wrote of Liverpool, "this strange territory seems, indeed, to form a kind of fifth element, a place charged with daemonic issues and daemonic silences". A fitting location therefore, for an Alchemist. They've firmly set up shop in a beautiful Grade II listed building on Brunswick Street in the heart of the commercial district. Exposed ancient brickwork, reinstated wonderful wooden floors and a touch of their own alchemy with a stunning commissioned mural, setting the tone for a decidedly unconventional bar and restaurant.”
