Tawelfen is a lovely dormer bungalow situated a 10 minute walk from Abersoch and the beach, with private driveway. The property sleeps 4 adults and 4 children comfortably, and has secluded lawned gardens to the front and rear, complete with raised decking area, digital TV and complimentary WIFI and DVD. Sleeping arrangements consists of two king size beds, a pair of single bunk beds and three single beds. A travel cot and highchair are also available if required.
Large driveway allowing off-road parking space for two vehicles runs along side front garden area laid to lawn. Entry through the front door will take you in to an open landing area. Open plan lounge, complete with log burner, comfy seating and digital TV and leads on to dining room area with solid wooden table and seating for 8 people. Patio doors lead from the dining room area on to a raised decking area, with sunken hot tub and rear garden area laid to lawn, with partial views of the sea and the Tudwall Islands. Downstairs kitchen complete with dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric oven and microwave. Downstairs sleeping areas consist of 2 double bedrooms, complete with wardrobe and cupboard space and sink in the room, with power point for electric shavers / toothbrush. A small room consisting of single bunk beds, suitable for children. The main bathroom is downstairs - please note that the water pressure in Abersoch is not great and the shower is therefore an electric one! There is a seperate toilet room in addition to the main bathroom. Upstairs you will find a small children's play area in an upstairs landing area and a further bedroom consisting of 2 single beds, with velux windows over, offering partial sea views. These beds are good for children, but we would not recommend them for adults and therefore we offer the property to a maximum of four adults only (2 couples sharing 2 double beds). Complimentary WIFI is available throughout the property. Please note that the price quoted is for the use of the property only. We will endeavour to ensure that the hot tub is in good working order for your visit, indeed we pay a lot each month to ensure it is, however the use of the hot tub should be seen as a complimentary extra (if working) and not part of the rental price agreed. Please also note that the use of the hot tub is only permitted having read our guidance and signed the disclaimer. It should not be used to wash sand of kids. With regret, it will be checked upon your leaving and security deposit taken should this be the case, as it is the usual reason for the hot tub to break, thereby ruining it for other guests. Please note there are plastic stumps fixed to the decking around the hot tub area and care should be take around these - footwear should be worn while on the decking. 2 nights stay can be arranged, for £470 lump sum.
The bungalow is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, with neighbouring properties normally forming part of holiday lets, with a couple being full time residential. There is a short (10 min max) walk in to Abersoch town and the beach area. The local restaurants are fantastic and available on trip advisor, with the pinnacle probably being the Coconut Kitchen, which you generally need to book some time in advance to be sure of a table. Local firms offer boat and yacht hire and we can very much recommend the fun boat trip, which takes you out around the Islands and allows a good view of seals, sometimes Dolphins, and the greater spotted Bear Grylls!

    This attractive stone end-terraced cottage has been extended, tastefully refurbished and attractively finished to provide comfortable family accommodation, within a short walk of the main beach and the centre of Abersoch. The Cottage benefits from enclosed lawned gardens, large patio and decking areas with quality garden furniture for dining, relaxing and appreciating the views over Abersoch Bay and Harbour towards Snowdonia. There is gravelled private parking, space for boat/trailer and a storage shed for bikes. The Cottage is deceptively spacious. The open-plan living room is furnished in cosy cottage style, with two sofas, multi-fuel stove, Freeview TV and DVD player, 'shabby chic' dining table and chairs. The adjacent kitchen is fitted with modern units and oak worktops, well equipped with electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and a wine cooler.     Cae Du is bang in the centre of Abersoch. Minutes walk to beach, golf and yacht clubs. Convenience store close by and short stroll to the village with its popuar restaurants/ bars and boutique shops. Family friendly location. Perfect for spring/summer holidays as Abersoch is blessed with lots of sunny beach days. Ideal for cozy autumn/winter breaks, with access to snowdonia, costal path and quiet beaches. Clear nights with excellent star gazing opportunity.
  • The house is located in a secluded, but central location in Abersoch. There is ample free parking on the street. Make sure you use the map that Simon provides (we didn't), as our Sat Nav struggled to find the house. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is within 5 minutes walk. The house is modernly decorated and the living room is a suntrap in the morning, with a lovely balcony to waste away a summer's evening. WiFi was pretty good, which was unexpected. A few more basic provisions such as kitchen roll, oil, salt/pepper and some basic toiletries would be the only thing which could be improved. Overall we would highly recommend.

  • The house was in a lovely quiet area which was really close to the beach. It was well equipped and really clean and fresh. Simon provided a travel cot and the stairs had a stair gate which was really helpful. Directions and check in were easy, and we were even able to check in a bit early. I got an immediate response to my text message when I text Simon with a minor query. A lovely few days in a great place which provides really good value for money.

    This is my haven, I'm happy to share it with people who will love and care for it like I would. The location is incredible, next to Abersoch Golf Course with Sea views. This is a stunning, expensively furnished holiday home and I'm very protective over it so if you want a party house -this is not the one for you... A famous Welsh Bishop was born here and villagers would come to the house to receive spiritual solace. It retains that wonderful sense of calm and everyone remarks on it.

  • The property was in a lovely location within walking distance of the shops and beach. Beautiful views across the golf course down to the sea and across into the mountains. Everything was spotless and had enough cooking equipment to cook a curry and have a BBQ (After playing a round of croquet in the garden first)! We went on some lovely walks and would recommend visiting the Welsh language centre at Nant Gwrtheyrn. Climbed Snowdon on the way home, thoroughly enjoyable trip! Thank you

The views from the house and garden were stunning and we even enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace one evening and spotted a pheasant on the golf course! The conservatory gets lovely and warm during the day and it was perfect to sit in and relax. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Lovely and quiet at night so we also enjoyed a really good nights sleep. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.

  • We arrived late at night and it was a bit tricky to find in the dark. I would suggest keeping a note of the directions to hand if you are planning on arriving late! Check in was easy, linen was waiting on arrival. House was clean and tidy. Great location, only a 5 min walk to Abersoch with its shops bars restaurants and beaches. Good size, close walk to the spar for essentials (a really good spar!) and walked into abersoch town in about 5-10 mins which was lovely. Easy check in with the key box but didn't receive email from air b n b with details, but host lovely An quick replies and very helpful. Had a bit of a tough time trying to find all the right sheets An bed sheets to put on four different size beds - could have been left out for us maybe to help? Only one toilet roll left for 6 of us weekend. Would definitely stay here again and recommend! Thanks

It is a smallish room but we had enough space for a travel cot and all the baggage that comes with a 12w baby so would be very comfortable for just two! Location is perfect for the town and beach.

    Goleufryn is a detached period house in a peaceful location on a quiet country lane less than a mile from the centre of the popular seaside village of Abersoch and its shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. The layout is perfect for large family groups. The main house sleeps 10, with two bedrooms and a bathroom on both the first and second floors and space for additional guests in the two separate annexes - the games room barn, sleeping two, and the barn annexe, sleeping four. A discount is available for parties of 12 guests not using the barn annexe and for 14 guests not using the games room barn. The house has been refurbished with care and attention to detail. There is an open plan living/dining room and kitchen which leads to a further sitting room in the conservatory. The living room has leather sofas, a log burner, on demand TV with sky entertainment package and WiFi. The fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher and leisure cooker ceramic hob with double oven whilst the utility room houses the washing machine. The conservatory sun room has a sofa and double doors to the garden. On the first floor is the king size bedroom (with large ensuite bathroom and corner shower cubicle (with jet spray) and a twin bedroom, also cloakroom with WC and basin. The second floor has a large family room with king size bed, single bed and additional pull out bed, TV and panoramic views. A further bedroom has twin beds. There is a shower room and separate WC with basin on this floor. The Games Room Barn has a games room with table football, a darts board and small pool table, also a double bed, a day bed, a toilet and shower.   • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the beds were really comfy and the house was easily large enough to accommodate all of us (6 adults, 4 children). The beach is a 10 minute walk down a steep hill from the house. The house has a lovely garden and is very child friendly. Our host Will was super friendly and approachable. Overall, a lovely few days in this very pleasant house.
