Best cafés in Long Island

Pizza Place
$$
“One of our favorite places. We love going here for pizza (the coppa & carciofi is our favorite) or just to hang out at the bar or backyard. There can be a wait, but if you put in your name and hang out in tapas bar next door they'll come and find you.”

Gourmet Shop

“When visiting Flatiron building, this is a place to have some coffee or food :) I would not recommend restaurants inside, just grad some pizza or a sandwich..”

Bakery
$$
“They do much more than sweets, but it's the sweets that you'll get in line for. There's wild Maine blueberry pancakes and caramelized banana French toast for breakfast, plus loads of pie, cake, and milkshakes. But, if you insist on eating real protein (as fans of the bakery did years ago, pushing the owners to expand to other meals), then you won't be disappointed. Go for the fried chicken!”

Donut Shop

“Donuts that are truly unsurpassed by any other donut or donut shop I have ever been to in my life-- and I'm a life-long donut fanatic! Bettter than krispy kreme's which I loved as a kid. Huge PLUS: They also just happen to be vegan! The most popular flavor is the jelly donut with peanut butter icing and a chocolate drizzle, (my own personal favorite as well!) But they have other unique flavors that are fun to try such as: Rosemary butter flavor, Blueberry french toast, Pistachio, Raspberry with oat flakes, Strawberry, and more! Truly a Must-have!”
