Then you transfer to the underground metro that takes you to Union Station, Downtown LA. Great to avoid traffic and get to know famous areas in Los Angeles. You can take the metro to Hollywood Blvd, Universal Studios, Santa Monica, Exposition Park, Downtown LA, East Los Angeles or Long Beach. ”

Outdoors & Recreation
“This hike is halfway between Santa Monica and Malibu. When we have friends come to town, we take them here on the first or second day; from the top, you get amazing views of downtown and a good sense of perspective of the city. There’s something about the rhythm of hiking that starts to slow the mind down a bit and allows you to have more clarity. Insider tip This is the kind of place that really only locals know. You can walk for 20, 30 minutes and not see another person. Aim for sunrise or sunset to appreciate the view and avoid the heat.”

“This is my favorite restaurant in Santa monica. Iconic, oldest Santa Monica restaurant. Known for steaks and clams, but they added other menue items a long time ago. Sit at thbe bar and meet the locals. I suppose there are people who will say there are better, but I have been going there since the '60s and this is my opinion. www.thegalleyrestaurant.net”
