“Go right before sunset and get a table on the beach. The fishing boats are coming in for the day and the iconic Los Muertos pier tower is beautiful lit up at night. The service and food at this restaurant is the best, we go here every time we visit. ”

“Los Muertos beach is a quieter, smaller beach than the main Sayulita beach. It is a 10 minute walk down Ninos Heroes rd, (dirt road to the south from my casa, Opposite way from town). ”

“After almost three years, the Pier at Los Muertos Beach has been inaugurated with fireworks, music, and fun, on January 4th, 2013. The pier is one of the main elements in an ambitious renewal program for downtown Puerto Vallarta that includes a series of important projects around the town. These will add to the main existing attractions for both local and international visitors.”

“The most famous public beach in Puerto Vallarta. You can bring your own beach umbrella or you can have some food and drinks in a restaurant and they will provide you with chairs and beach umbrellas "palapas". Do not forget to try "camarón en vara" or "shrimp in stick", the beach vendors will come to you to offer this delicious snack.”

Street Address
“Hidden Gem -gastro bar -local place Although it looks to be like a pizza place (and it is best in city) the gourmet appetizers are remarkable and reasonable. Huge jug of tasty sangria is special and so is the homemade cheesecake. Be prepared to wait as only about 10 tables. Next to Cocos on Pulpito it is in the middle of everything great about Old Town....”

Place to eat
“This is one of Puerto Vallarta’s finest restaurants. On the main square and upstairs with a view to die for! The food is fresh, healthy and gourmet. It's always terrific and beautifully presented and the staff very welcoming and appreciative. For the quality of the food, service and ambiance the prices are very reasonable as well. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, and in the evening a guest can see the twinkling lights of Marina Vallarta. ”

“Healthier option (not everything is super healthy) for dinner. Pizzas, tapas, lots of great fare here. Smaller plates so you get to try multiple things and really affordable prices. This is the favorite of many of our guests, cocktails are great too!”

Comfort Food Restaurant
“Healthy option and most popular for its salads that you build ingredient per ingredient ala Subway or Chipotle style. Also has great smoothies, good sandwiches and soups. If you're choosing between Super Food Salud and Barra Light for a healthy meal, I would recommend Super Food. But if you've already been there then give Barra Light a try and you won't be disappointed.”
