“Triple J Chophouse has an in-house brewery that keeps several rotating craft brews on tap. Their food is excellent, and the service is always top-notch. If you’re looking for a great steak, burger, or chicken fry, this is the place to go. They usually have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s also located directly in the depot if you want to go out and enjoy some of the bars during your stay. ”

“In our opinion, this is the best pizza in Lubbock by far. Everything is made fresh in-house and they have an impressive selection of craft beers on tap and in bottles. Service can be a little slow at times due to high kitchen demand but the wait is totally worth it. Grab a box and take the rest home for a late night snack. Highly recommended!!”

“This is our favorite restaurant in town and is in downtown about 14 miles away. It is on the upper end price wise, but is worth it if you are looking for amazing food, drinks, and service.”

“The Crafthouse is one of your hosts favorite places to eat in Lubbock. They feature a new menu every month with a variety of home-style meals with an upscale and unique flair added to them. If you’re here on a Saturday or Sunday, give this place a try for brunch. You won’t be disappointed. They also have a great selection of craft beers, wine, and liquor. ”

“Chimmy’s is one of the main staples on the Broadway bar scene. It may be packed in the evenings, but if you want to experience a true college-town bar, this is the place to go. Their food is excellent (try the nachos) and their margaritas are STRONG!! Once this place closes down, head over to The Local, Crickets, or Bar PM to finish off the night. ”

“Evie’Mae’s is rated in the Top 10 for Texas BBQ. It’s only open for lunch and early dinner but if you get the chance, stop here. You’ll likely wait in line for 15-20 minutes, but there is free beer available while you wait and the BBQ is worth the wait. If you are really hungry, try the beef rib. It is MASSIVE!! Their desserts are 100% gluten free as well. If you have a large group and want to feed everyone, Evie-Mae’s has great catering packages as well. ”

“La Sirena is located inside the Cactus Alley Courtyard with several other local businesses. This restaurant is more upscale and provides an eclectic arrangement of Latin fusion entrees. The food is always amazing, and the drinks are first class. If you’re looking for something different, this is the place. ”
