“Because how can you say no to Shepard's Pie?! We love visiting the bar area- one dollar bills pinned on the walls with a fun vibe. Dahlonega is just fun town to walk around in and we always seem to have dinner here and visit the Fudge Factory for dessert afterwards! ”

“This is a fun, small winery in a lovely location. It offers tastings and a small menu. A nice gift shop as well.”

Winery
“We love Kaya but be warned, they close at 5:30, so we always start there and head elsewhere. Also, forewarning, their gift shop has the cutest home goods and gifts but a little pricey! After a few glasses of vino, you tend to overlook the price tags. Really great atmosphere for a tasting or sit outside with a bottle and listen to live music. Highly recommend and right around the corner!”

“We almost always sit at the bar, order a slice and a beer or a glass of wine and just chill. The pizza is excellent and there is a good "by the slice" selection. Great selection of beer, too, or so I've been told by folks with better palates than I possess.”

“Great griil. It's too far to walk from the Public Square but an easy drive. We always enjoy it. It's simply basic American fare, well done.”

Greek Restaurant
“Mediterranean/Greek food located downtown on the square. The owner’s family is from Greece. Open daily for lunch and dinner, full bar. One of the popular Dahlonega restaurants on the square. They also sometimes feature foods from a specific country on certain months. You can also eat outdoors.”
