“A drive to Bannockburn will take just under 1 hour. If you want to have lunch at Mt Difficulty, it is best to book in advance. Stop off at Old Cromwell Town to explore heritage buildings, many with artisan businesses in them, located on the shore of Lake Dunstan.”

“The Walter Peak farm is located on the other side of Lake Wakatipu and offers an all-you-can-eat 5-star-buffet. Book your dinner with Real Journeys. It's a bit pricy but a must-do for everyone who wants to experience some of the best local products or have a romantic time. ”

Park
“From the car park, the track descends through native bush with plenty of bird life to Bobs Cove. It has a stunning view over Lake Wakatipu and offers swimming and shore fishing. A historic lime kiln remains from the 1800s, when the Wakatipu Lime Company quarried and processed Bobs Cove limestone. Gum trees here were planted to fuel the kilns. This track connects to the Twelve Mile Delta Track.”
