“The tiny Eiger Stubli restaurant is superb. Quality food beautifully presented and excellent wines, in a quaint Swiss styled restaurant. Book in advance to ensure you don't miss out. Start or end your evening in the Tachi Bar, for cocktails & digestives...and live music occasionally. In warmer weather, dining tables are also set out on the terrace - with its lovely views of the peaks.”

“A car-free mountain village. Very quaint. Take the cable car from Lauterbrunnen (opposite the train station) to Grütschalp and from there a train ride of just a few minutes to Mürren. Alternatively, walk from Grütschalp to Mürren. An easy walk of about an hour. Amazing views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. ”

“A hike and climbing experience that you won't forget soon! Rent your equipment at Sportshop Staeger and take this walk with or without a guide. The walk takes about 3 hours and is quite strenuous. Good shoes are necessary. The walk is not recommended if you are afraid of heights... The whole path is secured with a climbing harness, from Mürren to Gimmelwald. Definitely a must to do!”
