  • Loved our stay at Jill's amazing cottage. Everything, from check-in to check-out, was smooth and easy, and the cottage itself was nicely outfitted, comfortable, and very close to Mystic. Can't wait to stay here again!

  • Jill's place was perfect for a weekend getaway -- the apartment is spacious and beautifully furnished, with spectacular views. Peaceful and serene, yet just a few minutes away from great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Jill was friendly, helpful, and made everything easy for us. Only wished we could have stayed longer!

    Susan2015-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We were made to feel very welcome and Jill made sure to provide recommendations and to greet us when we first arrived. Great Wifi, complementary toiletries, and a few cold bottles of water were awaiting our arrival. The house was within 10 minutes of the best places to eat and in a great location. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Mystic.

  • Jill made us feel very welcome and was willing to go above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable, relaxing! Very sweet of her and kind. The home was even more beautiful in person, and did I mention breathtaking views of the beautiful sunrise and sunet.....ahhhh!!! Can't wait for a future return!!!!

  • Our first air bnb experience was incredible. The guest house was clean, beautiful and perfect for the wedding trip we took. Jill was an amazing host; she gave us easy to follow tour/instructions and an info packet to the area. The area is GORGEOUS. I would absolutely recommend this airbnb.

    Laura2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jill was a wonderful host, and the guest house is amazing! My partner and I stayed for one night as a quick getaway, and had a marvelous time! It's the perfect size, with a beautiful view, and Jill was incredibly helpful with finding places to eat, things to do, and just general area advice. We were incredibly comfortable, and it was SO much nicer than staying in a hotel downtown Mystic! We're very appreciative to Jill for her area expertise, and for making us feel right at home! Thanks so much!

    Brianne2014-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a delightful stay at Jill's guest house in Mystic. The home was even better than in the pictures. Jill was an excellent and attentive host and helped us navigate our way through Mystic. We look forward to returning this summer... The views were spectacular.

    Jay2015-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 2nd time this year we stayed at Jill's cottage...and we're planning to come back for a 3rd time. We love this place almost as much as we love Jill and her wonderful hospitality!

  • We loved our stay at Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn! From the moment we arrived, Erika was so accommodating. The room was exactly the way it was described with a cute little patio section in the back. Erika does such an amazing job from her breakfast scrambled eggs to the delicious warm cider she prepared on a cool autumn day. There is so much attention to detail and making you feel like you're right at home. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone! Thank you for a wonderful, cozy experience Erika!

    Erika2015-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little bed and breakfast. Erika was very nice and helpful. We had a great time.

    Arpad2017-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Lantern Hill Inn was an absolutely perfect getaway for us. The inn is charming and Erika absolutely thought of all the little details to make our stay, and her guests stay, complete. Erika had a wealth of ideas for touring around the local towns, being outdoors, enjoying music, and eating at the local restaurants. Everything is convenient, about twenty minutes away, and we were still able to enjoy the seclusion of her property and the grounds.

    Kelly2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Erika's place very much. Had that adorable, classic, New England vibe that we were looking for. The property was secluded and scenic, but close to main roads so it was easy to get to where we wanted to go. We only got to have breakfast once during our stay, but it was delicious and the service was friendly and quick. Overall would recommend.

    Haley2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was such wonderful experience! My wife and I were taking a 4 night vacation to just getaway. Erika exceeded our expectations regarding the homey and relaxing room, scrumptious breakfasts, and fantastic sightseeing recommendations. The small but special touches in the room, such as aromatic soaps and shampoos, tea lights around the jacuzzi, and small portable speaker, truly made this a relaxing and romantic experience for my wife and me. Starting our day eating a delicious full hot breakfast with a view of her beautiful backyard garden and listening to calming music was perfect. Her backyard has a trail that connects to larger network of fantastic hike trails. Our vacation trip was exactly what we were hoping it would be and more!

    Aaron2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was clean and extremely well kept. The location was perfect and provided easy access to Foxwoods. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Thanks!

    James2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lantern Hill Inn offers an exceptionally clean and quiet stay. Erika is readily available to answer questions or make suggestions yet allows her guests the freedom to enjoy the comforts and amenities of the inn. The grounds and access to the trail system is a bonus. You can have a continental breakfast but we suggest you try Erika's breakfast menu. The Guinness gingerbread was delicious. We highly recommend.

  • We can highly recommend to stay at Erikas Cozy Cottage. The Cottage is very comfortable and the little terrasse in the back is a quiet and sunny place to relax. The bed is the most comfortable I have slept in - mhmmmm. Recommendations for dinner or hiking were fantastic. Great thanks to Erika and her husband.

    Freya2015-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in The Cottage at Erika's B&B was charming! The place has a very rustic homey feel, and Erika and Peter are really sweet hosts - and can cook a very delicious breakfast (the food is so fresh- I literally saw Peter cutting the dill weed that was in my eggs out in the garden)! Everything was great, it was a perfect getaway weekend and not too far from Essex and Water's Edge Resort where we had friends' wedding festivities. Definitely would recommend! Loved that you could hike straight from the property too.

    Sharon2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • A quiet cozy place to rest and relax

    Dave2017-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the cottage for a family trip to Foxwoods. We loved that our puppy was welcome. Not only was the cottage itself amazing but breakfast in the morning was incredible as well! Erika was available to answer any questions and provide us with a map of trails to hike. She also provided us with information of the surrounding area and things to do. We will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the cottage and inn for a few more days!

We enjoyed the central location; which allowed us to enjoy all that mystic had to offer during the day and all the casinos had to offer at night! Jane and Jim were amazing hosts; very responsive, accommodating and thoughtful. We arrived late and they made sure to have snacks available for us. I would recommend anyone looking to enjoy this area to book with Jane and Jim!

  • Elena was an excellent host. She made sure we had everything we needed and she was very accommodating . The house is beautiful. Exactly how it is advertised. Very clean and cozy. We loved the hot tub and the big back yard. It was pretty close to the beach and the casino. Great experience.

  • Elena was a great hostess! She was very responsive to all of my questions and very helpful. Her home made for a very quiet and relaxing place for a small family vacation near Mystic. An open living room/dining room/kitchen with very conveniently placed pocket doors helped us contain our toddler to the main area and plenty of rooms means everyone got their own private space. We were within a short driving distance from downtown Mystic, the Mystic Aquarium, and some beaches.

    Justin2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Elena's home in the days leading up to my wedding as a headquarters of sorts for us to do last minute prep and spend some quality time together. The house is absolutely beautiful and SO spacious! There was more than enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably (there were 7 of us) and the big kitchen made it easy to cook meals together. Elena was also very responsive and helpful when we had to contact her with a question about the thermostat. She also left a great guide with info about her home and the surrounding area. We could not have asked for more!

  • One of the best Air BnB locations that we have stayed at to date. Melissa and Tom were amazing hosts and very welcoming to our family. They had a great set up for our kids which was a plus when you factor in everything else. The room and bathroom were excellent and best accommodations to date with AirBnB. Everything was perfect. The continental breakfast was a very nice finishing touch to an enjoyable stay. If we are back in the Mystic area again, we will be reaching out to Melissa and Tom! :)

  • The cabin was a great place to stay. The house and beds were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed playing pool and spending time in the patio out in front. The grounds were well maintained and very spacious for our dogs to enjoy. The doggie door to the fenced in area was a great touch. Also Emmanuel was available via text with any questions. I would definitely recommend coming to stay at this log cabin.

Lady of the Lake is an idyllic camping trailer retreat located on private property, overlooking a lovely, quiet fishing lake. You’ll love our place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers. We are located close to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, Mystic with her Seaport Museum and Aquarium, CT and RI beaches within 15 miles, and great hiking trails. Wonderful restaurants and grocery stores are nearby! Escape from the world!
PUT TO BED FOR THE WINTER, BUT REOPENS April 28th TO ENJOY THE MAGIC OF SPRING TIME! If you love the experience of camping in an idyllic location look no further! Lady of the Lake is for you! It is a place to relax and be rejuvenated watching the seasons as they pass, listening to the sounds of nature. Come experience our fully equipped camping trailer, set up to enjoy private lake views, without being surrounded by the crowd. The set up is all done and just waiting for you to arrive. It will comfortably hold up to 4 adults. She is a well cared for 31 ft camping trailer located on the owner's home property, but in a space to feel like you are all alone with nature. The camper is fully equipped for comfortable 3 season living, with AC and heat, a kitchen with refrigerator, oven, cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker, pots and pans. We have a TV with a DVD player but unfortunately do not have cable so have some limited channels. There is also a built in CD player. There is good cell service from both Verizon and ATT towers nearby. The sleeping spaces are a master bedroom with a queen bed, 2 hanging closets and lots of drawer space, as well as a bunk room at the opposite end with 4 bunk beds, and hanging closets and drawers. Even though there are lots of beds we feel that limiting the guest number to 4 total will give our guests the best 'camping experience'. The bathroom has a shower and toilet space, with the sink located separately in the hallway, accessible even when the bathroom is in use. Outside your door is a fire pit with a view out to the lake, picnic tables, and a gas grill. There is a canoe and double sit-upon kayak for your use.
Lady of the Lake is located on private property, near neighbors, but not too near. We are on a lovely pristine lake used mostly for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. The lake has a speed limit that restricts high speed boating, making it a very quiet lake. Enjoy the view of the lake from your trailer, watching the geese and swans as you have your morning coffee.
  • The RV was great. The description was accurate and the location was more pleasant than described. It offered quiet privacy and were able to pitch a tent nearby. The lake was very clean fresh water. Everything that was needed for a very enjoyable lakeside day was available. The beds were comfortable. And we actually did have enough hot water for everyone. Refrigerator and the kitchen set up were helpful in helping keep the cost of eating out down. Betty and Bob our hosts were gracious, responsive and friendly. We enjoyed our "camping" experience without the true discomfort or inconvenience. We were close to attractions and able to drive everywhere we needed to. I would certainly recommend.

  • Betsy and Bob were great hosts. Check in was smooth . They were very accommodative, although we arrived at the location quite late at night. Camper was clean and as detailed out. Beds were comfortable. The view outside the Camper was scenic and the location was beautiful. We would love to visit again.

Our farm is located close to Downtown Mystic, the Casinos, Long Island Sound and lots of fun stuff.... The historic homestead has 8 original outbuildings, and many acres of fields. Your bedroom windows look out onto a small peach, pear, & apple orchard with blueberries and grapes. Our place is quiet, private, and peaceful. The farm is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
This space is a private suite connected to the main house, and it's all yours! It has a private entrance looking out on the small orchard and rear yard. There is a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, a small private bathroom with a claw foot tub. (Note: Shower is in tub - if you are tall, it is not ideal - but doable.) Kitchen is stocked with coffee & tea, full refrigerator, microwave and simple cooking amenities (pans, baking dishes, oil, s&p, cutting board, chefs knife etc.) if you need specifics just ask! Kitchen also has a table & chairs. The bathroom has shampoo & conditioner, a medical basket with Advil, tums, bandaids etc & a toiletries basket in case you forget toothpaste, shaving cream etc. The house is built into a hill with the suite on the rear ground level, entry on the South side. So whether you choose to use the narrow, steep, wooden stairs at the deck or the old granite stairs by the wisteria pergola, you will be walking around the side or back yard to get to your entry. Note: The path is not easy for anyone who has difficulty with mobility and is not well lit at night. There are lights at the front of the house and at your door, but we are working to add lighting between the two. In the meantime we provide an LED lantern which some folks use when coming back from a late dinner. The post and beam farmhouse and barns are full of charm and yankee ingenuity. We love this place for all it's quirks and unconventional nature. Lucky for us, the original family who owned the property for many generations were expert stone masons. Their work can be seen all around the property including dry stacked stone walls and an impressive retaining wall creating the upper and lower levels of the property.
The property is located in the southernmost part of Ledyard in the historic, bucolic, Quakertown area and was once a larger working farm owned by the Watrous family. Come for a visit and recharge in this peaceful, neighborly and rural town. Ledyard has lots of small businesses and creative folks who enjoy living the simple life. There are plenty of nearby nature trails and places to kayak or bike in addition to well known attractions which you can find in our guidebook.
  • Historic farmhouse one bedroom. Everything needed for an overnight stay. Overlooks pretty grounds.

  • Jon accommodated is on short notice. our stay was short, but his beautiful farm gave us the perfect place to rest before the next leg of our trip.

    Daniel2016-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very quaint and charming farm, conveniently located close to downtown Mystic. Katie was an excellent host and was very quick and responsive. Overall a great experience!

    William2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved waking up to the rooster in the morning. The setting and apartment decor is rustic- it reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse...which was one of the motivating factors for booking. We loved our stay at Jon and Katie’s. Great place. Things to know: bring slippers to keep feet warm, bring a flashlight, we rented an small SUV which worked well for the driveway.

  • Great location for visiting Mystic! Great potential as an air bnb!

    Beth 2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • I needed a place for a wedding and Jon's place was perfect for my short-term stay. There is plenty of space in the one bedroom/bathroom + kitchen. (The place only has a few items still being renovated, but overall was not a draw-back and everything was completely functional and clean). Also a plus was the fresh flowers placed when I arrived. I would use his place again.

    John2016-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • During my week stay I enjoyed the area, lodging, toiletries provided in case you forgot something. Great alternative to local hotel. I will likely be in the area again for work and will look into staying there again. A couple things to consider not readily available on listing; no outside lock, I'm 6'2 and my head hits the ceiling in the shower (had to bend to use shower head to wash hair), also the walk from drive way to door is grass and small hill (couple old steps too) to the door stoop; darkness, rain, ice/snow, personal handicap could make it a slighty dangerous, i dont think this info is readily available to future guests.

  • Alex was very quick to respond and easy to work with. The house is in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood.

  • Nice Neighborhood. Close to Mystic, Stonington, Foxwoods etc. Stayed only very briefly but the house was great. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. Great outdoor space. Alex was very accommodating and communication was easy. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

    Brendan2014-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Grounds are lovely. Really spacious, quiet, and well maintained. House is also great, but a few things to note: not a true 3 br, but a 2 br with a den that has a futon. Hot tub wasn't working the whole weekend, so check before you book if you are looking forward to it. Upstairs shower doesn't have a shower curtain. That was a bit strange, but the water pressure was so low it didn't matter so much. Overall the place is nice (if not a bit lacking in cleanliness), but a good space and great outdoors to relax a weekend away in.

    Adam2014-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice stay at Alex's house. The house is spacious, clean, well maintained and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It was easy to explore the Mystic area using the house as our home base and Alex was easy to deal with.

    Lindy2014-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Alex's place is awesome! I spent the weekend here with some close co-workers to go out on our boat, and ended up spending more time at the house grilling and taking advantage of the massive back yard. The pictures don't do it justice, as there's enough space to play two or three full on softball games (we only used it for wiffleball and frisbee though). Alex was a great host in terms of answering our questions and opening up to let us borrow whatever we needed, like letting us borrow a couple fishing poles since we forgot ours and giving is advice on where to get bait or where to eat in order to avoid all the tourist traps. The place is a little hard to find since the numbers of the houses don't go in order on the street, but once we eventually found it we had a blast staying there and would definitely come again!

  • Lee and her husband welcomed us as soon as we arrived, and were very gracious hosts. We stayed in the Queen suite, which was beautifully decorated with antiques. The room was clean, well stocked and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and served in the elegant dining area overlooking their lovely grounds. The location is convenient to Mystic and Stonington, in a country setting. Another nice highlight was a tour with Lee on Sunday morning of their horses and trails around the property. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back! Thank you!!

    natalie2015-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lee responded within minutes of my inquiries. She was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. When I emailed to inquire about use of a printer, she offered to print what we needed and the documents were in our room upon arrival. The room was beautiful and clean. We especially enjoyed the tour of the barn and getting to met the horses!

  • This is my second time staying here, Lee is the most wonderful of hosts! The room I stayed in was beautiful & comfortable, and the grounds spectacular...such a sanctuary for the mind, heart & Soul. Thank you Lee!

    Bonnie2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lee was an incredible host! The place was spotless, huge, and more than accommodating. She is the sweetest soul I've ever come across in my AirBNB experiences. The bed was comfy and the carpet was so cushiony, too! I almost slept on the floor! Everything was just perfect!

    Spencer2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I had a great time - Lee and Jim are great hosts. Their home is lovely and welcoming - a mix of traditional and eclectic. Our room was very comfortable and roomy, with an elegant canopy bed and comfy couch to lounge on. Room and bath were clean with lots of light. Breakfast included meat, cheese, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola - even gluten-free granola for those of us who can't eat gluten. The house is on beautiful property that is more secluded and woodsy, so relaxing and peaceful. But there is a lot to do in all directions. The beaches are about 15 minutes away. We like spicy food and had no problem finding good Indian and Thai restaurants - but there are restaurants for all tastes within an easy drive. One of the best reasons to stay at this Airbnb - it helps support all the on-site programs of Horses Healing Humans. If you don't like dogs, this might not be the place for you. The four-legged family member, while small and very friendly, is a bit noisy until he gets to know you. He didn't bother us, but we like dogs. We got to see the barn, corrals and the beautiful horses - that was a treat. Don't know how to rate between great and fantastic - seems like a goofy measure. How much greater is fantastic?? We would highly recommend this Bnb.

For the Sportsman, there is a local gun club/ firing range as well as ropes course and paintball nearby. (NO HUNTING on premises) Area guides are available in each room.
  • Beautiful and charming place - house, room, yard, horse therapy facilities in the property. Nice and responsive host who took the time to walk us and show us around horse therapy facilities. Check-in wasn't perfect because she seemed very busy with horse therapy activities at the time. But Lee and her husband are very nice people, and I recommend their nice place.

    Konstantin 2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lee was there at our arrival and the room was ready early. We enjoyed the country setting and it is close to nearby attractions. We enjoyed morning coffee in the library and on the patio. Lee explained her Horses Healing Humans program and the non-profit organization. It was nice to see the horses and barn facility. It was a pleasant stay in Stonington.

  • Fantastic visit. The house and farm are beautiful, and Lee and Jim are warm and engaging hosts. The room was bright, clean, well appointed. I cannot imagine having a better experience anywhere, and it broke my heart to leave. I plan to return!

  • We both enjoyed our stay very much. The room was comfortable and the property is lovely. Bill was friendly and helpful with recommendations on local eateries. The fire was a great feature on such a cold night.

  • Erin and Kenny's house was the perfect spot for our girls getaway weekend. The house was very spacious and clean. Erin and Kenny provided us with very detailed information on activities and restaurant recommendations. Thanks for a great stay!

  • Clean, up to date, spacious and quiet home! Close to Casinos and phenomenal for a weekend get away! Stayed here with family going to see a show at Foxwoods and they all enjoyed the space in the home. Erin and Kennys home is a dream and would stay there again!

    Justine2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks to Erin & Kenny for making our stay so seamless and easy. The house was great & was perfect for us. Little extra personalized touches were above and beyond & were so thoughtful & made our stay that much greater! We would definitely stay again!

  • We hosted our thanksgiving of 19 people here and it was fantastic. The hosts were kind enough to let us borrow an extra folding table and chairs and we then brought in an extra folding table and chairs for the rest of our guests. The kitchen was perfect for all of the cooking we needed to do. There was plenty of space for our guests whether they wanted to watch TV or read quietly and listen to music. The location of the house is on a quiet street with privacy and plenty of parking. Beds are comfy!

    Danielle2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Erin and Kenny have a beautiful home! It was very spacious, clean, and full of all the basics you need to have a nice relaxing weekend. Thank you so much!!

  • Erin and Kenny have an amazing house that is perfectly located for the casino. It is a perfect place for a bigger party to be able to stay and enjoy each others' company without having to be at the casino. House is well described and Erin and Kenny were very quick to answer any questions we had throughout the weekend! Totally recommend staying here!

My place is close to history, quaint towns, excellent dining and entertainment, the water, casinos, wineries, art and music. You’ll love my place because it is very comfortable and bright. Large kitchen. Spacious deck and patio over looking beautiful woods.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
  • Eric met us at the house and showed us around inviting us to make ourselves at home. We enjoyed the fireplace and the dining area overlooking the beautiful deck and back woods with a stream flowing through. The game room was also much appreciated and saw some spirited pool matches. We found things easily and the kitchen was well equipped enough so that we cooked our Thanksgiving meal with ease. And although the neighborhood felt very quiet and secluded nearby attractions were easy to reach.

    Kathleen2016-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Can't say enough regarding how wonderful our stay was. This is an amazing house with a quiet and super cozy back yard area(which turned out to be our favorite place, of course). Interior is clean, anything you might need for your stay is definitely there. Nice and spacious basement full of games. The house is close to all major activities, which is also a big plus. The host is great, welcoming and very responsive. Our overall experience is we loved our stay here and would do it again without a second thought.

    Nick2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • As a first-time venture into airbnb we were quite satisfied. Eric welcomed us into his home and made us feel very comfortable. We visited with our adult children and the house afforded space, comfort and privacy for each of us. The neighborhood was quiet, pleasant and the view from the back deck was spectacular. Eric returned for our checkout and was receptive to some minor suggestions of ours.

    Joan2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Eric was an awesome host! The house had everything we needed plus more. The house was super nice and way better than the pictures represent. The location was perfect, close to everything but quiet and secluded. Would stay there again!

    Chad2016-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous location; spacious rooms; incredible amenities (amazing deck and firepit area overlooking a babbling brook; pool table and pin pong; lots of TVs, fully equipped kitchen; washer dryer; quiet wooded street). The house was clean as a whistle. Eric met us right on time and explained everything fully. Very pet-friendly house and location. This was our first Airbnb experience and it couldn't have been better.

    Lynn2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Eric's place in Mystic! The home was perfect for us, with the basement playroom being the favorite spot for the kids and grown-up kids. Although we came on a rainy weekend, the outdoor fire pit and living space looked lovely! Eric went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of, from coloring books, bubbles, and even a baby gate all set up for the kids, to a handwritten list of things we might like to do nearby. The home also had it's own unique personality, filled with musician memorabilia and instruments, and tons of music - CDs and even records! It's refreshing to stay somewhere that feels loved and not just a generic rental. We would absolutely love to find an excuse to come back sometime!

    Amanda2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay at Eric's place. The house was really nice, clean, spacious. The backyard was beautiful, the pictures here don't even do it justice!! The game room was a great space to hang out in. Eric was a fantastic host, Very accommodating and flexible. I highly recommending staying here!!!!

    Darcey2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Eric's house was the perfect location to visit all the sights in Mystic. He has a beautifully serene backyard and plenty of room in his lovely home. Communication with Eric and his sister, Cindy who lives next door was very simple. They responded quickly with any questions we had. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend Eric's home to anyone visiting the area.

A secluded country retreat. This quiet second floor studio apartment overlooking gardens (on 12 secluded acres) is a great home base to explore the area's attractions.
This secluded studio apartment is the second floor of a workshop/barn and is separate from the main log home. Enjoy the deck overlooking private landscaped gardens, which include a water feature. The apartment has a comfortable double bed with pull out sleeper couch. A small kitchen area with vintage dishes and original art will help you feel right at home.
This is country living. Our home is up a driveway that is a quarter of a mile long. From our home you can drive to the casinos (Foxwoods is 10 minutes), Mystic/Stonington (20 minutes), RI Ocean Beaches (30 minutes). You can also enjoy local golf courses and tour the CT Wine Trail while you hunt for antiques .
  • Although I wish I had more time to spend in Ashwillet Gardens, my trip was perfect! In a phone call prior to the trip, Paul let me know that if I arrived early enough, I could join them for pizza. From the drive in to the property, where two deer crossed the driveway, to the property itself, nature is abound. I was greeted by Paul and his party and brought to the house. The pictures are true to life - no special angles - and pure country bliss. It is perfect. When I was settled in, I was offered two plates of food, grown in their garden. As a guest, you feel welcomed and your privacy is respected. If you'd like to interact with the hosts, they will do that too. The house has everything you could possibly need. The property is located off the main road and had it been not raining, I could only imagine sitting on the deck and looking up at the stars, free of light pollution. Located in North Stonington, there is plenty to do off property, while you can relax with all the country surrounding you. I had a road race the next morning, in Misquamicut RI and within 25 minutes, I was parked and warming up. I would definitley recommend Sabrina and Paul's country retreat; if I do the road race next year, I will definitely be back. Thank you again for an evening of rest. Thank you once again!!!

    Brad2014-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sabrina and Paul were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, flexible and patient. The apartment is even more charming than it appears in the pictures and it was the perfect size for two people. The bed was comfortable, the shower was delightful and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment! As if this wasn't enough, the surrounding area is gorgeous and we really enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the property. I would go back in a heartbeat and I highly recommend this place to others!

    Rachel2015-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay this past weekend! Paul was very helpful and accommodating. The space was perfect for my wife and I. Maybe next time we'll explore the grounds a little more! Perfect place to stay if seeing a show at Foxwoods.

  • Lovely space on a beautiful property. This is a gem and a can't-miss rental. Paul and Sabrina were very inviting and positive and also left us plenty of space to enjoy our privacy in the peace and quiet of their property. The area around Ashwillet Gardens is beautiful farmland and country roads, plus its within miles of Foxwoods, homeade icecream, and Pachaug State Forest. Quite a treat... we're hoping to return soon!

    Nikki2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely property, from the flowers and greenery to the roosters and goats, it was so charming and welcoming! The apartment itself was clean, neat, and simple yet had everything we needed. And it was an easy drive to Foxwoods, beaches and wineries! We would absolutely stay again!

It is a quiet residential neighborhood. Very little traffic on Forest Avenue.

  • What a great place. Very clean apartment. The hosts provide you with everything you need for a short trip, incl towels, basic toiletries and some breakfast staples. They got a great Keurig coffee machine with a selection of different pods. The whole Mystic/New London area is beautiful, perfect for a short trip. Big recommendation !

  • This is a very comfortable place and is located close to most things in the area. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and will return. The apartment had everything we needed for our time here. Restaurants were good (we rarely cook while traveling) and the shopping was wonderful. We were very glad we stayed. We drove here in an Electric car and found charging not far away at the Groton Library. Thanks Bruce. The Grand Theater was just a 15 minute drive away.

  • This little Inn was so homey, quaint and the perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend. My boyfriend and I spent our 4th of July weekend here and we loved our room, the friendly feel, the yummy breakfast, open kitchen, and quiet atmosphere. The grounds are spectacular with a beautifully kept yard, and several outdoor sitting areas, including a firepit and hammocks, which we took advantage of while we drank some wine. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bathtub with jets was relaxing, and the bed was very comfy and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again!

This home is set on the camp grounds of Strawberry Park. With three pools, hot tub, parks and playgrounds and endless scheduled activities for kids and adults. Each week has a new theme with activities based around those themes. This is rented bare bones so you will need to bring towels and linens during your stay. There are tons of things to do in the park and the nearby areas. Around 10 minutes from both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos. 15-20 minutes out from mystic aquarium and seaport.
THE AREA- The property is Located inside Strawberry park camp resort. Strawberry park is located 5 minutes from foxwoods casino, 15 minutes from mystic and has several beautiful wineries within a 3 mile radius. There are also 3 lakes perfect for fishing within 2.5 miles as well. A perfect trip for the summer filled with various activities to do. STRAWBERRY PARK- Known best for its themed weekends, the 77 acre property offers a ton. - 3 swimming pools and a hot tub - full size basketball court -2 large playgrounds -a baseball field -a rec room and arcade room - a grill and ice creamery - pickle ball and horseshoes The scheduled activities are a constant at strawberry park. From kanjam tournaments to face painting to the Tiki bar poolside for adults. I will put up both a link to the website and a sample activities list and themes for the upcoming summer weeks. MY PLACE- It is a one bedroom/ one bathroom home. The bedroom has a queen size bed with plenty of closet place. The living room couch pulls out into another queen size bed. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and a 4 burner gas stove. Plenty of counter tops and dual sinks. The bathroom is standard with a shower/tub. The upstairs loft cover over 1/2 the square feet of the first floor. It's wide open and can easily sleep 4-5 adults comfortable. There is an air mattress provided. The deck is a huge space where you can eat drink and hang out. There is a table of 4 with another picnic table on the deck (NOT SEEN IN PICTURES). • The room is very nice and Caryn is a great host.

    Henrik2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Caryn's room was just as described. Huge room, comfy bed, had air and a fan in case we needed it. The bathroom is attached, it needs some upkeep mostly cosmetic but if you are fussy you should be aware but for what we wanted it for, a safe place, comfortable and close to all the things we had in store for the long weekend. Caryn asked us before hand what we wanted for breakfast which was nice. We only took advantage one day due to other commitments. There are 3 smallish dogs who live there, they were confined to certain parts of the house and they really didn't impact our stay. We would stay here again if we needed to be in the area. Great price, great location, great hosts.

    Jill2015-09-07T00:00:00Z

  • This was our first Air BNB experience. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. Sabrina and Paul did wonderful on the landscape. Our room was private and had its own entrance, which was great because we didnt get back to the room until midnight and 1am. I have nothing bad to say about our room.

    Shanna2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Sabrina and Paul could not have been nicer or more accommodating! They were welcoming from the second my family pulled into their driveway. Everything was clean and organized. Paul told me about their property and the history behind it - so interesting. It is a very peaceful place to stay. My only complaint is that we were there just one night!

    Molly2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Sabrina, in about 5 minutes, turned from an AirBNB host to an old friend. Margie and I could not have had a better experience. Everything was perfectly described, communication on how to enter the amazing property, and we spent the morning talking together and even found out that we have mutual friends through our charities. We are already planning future dates to stay at this amazing place - and can't wait to get back our new little vacation visit spot in CT!

    Pat2016-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely beautiful and way much better than our expectation! Sabrina and Paul are very nice hosts and provided us with very detailed directions to their house before our trip, so we found the place easily. They welcomed us at our arriving and introduced the space carefully to us. The beds are very comfortable and we had a very good sleep after a day's walk in Newport. If we travel to somewhere near here, we will definitely choose Sabrina's BnB again!

    Haoxun2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Sabrina and Paul was absolutely amazing, we first started by a short stay in their apartment. We loved and enjoyed every second of it!... The set up was simply adorable the apartment was open and bright we felt like a million of miles away from the city. Very nice bath room and super cute room. Waking up with the ducks and the chickens was a delight and the land around was so beautiful and green, We went for walks to near by pounds and lakes and enjoyed what the Mohegan Sun and the Foxwood casino had to offer as well. Paul gave us some address to go

    vanessa2015-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Hosts are very warm and welcoming and the photos accurately depict the cozy accommodations. Stargazing at the location is excellent! Hosts allow guests to make use of their refrigerator in the main house at any time. The bed is wonderful with crisp clean sheets and the quiet of the setting made for a great night's sleep! There is no air conditioning and keeping the highly affectionate cat out of our rooms was difficult and required closing the door a little sooner than we had wanted! But we found another window to open and were comfortable. Just a note: there was no lock between our rooms and the main house for those of you who would find that uncomfortable.

    Denise2015-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pleasures spending a night at Paul and Sabrina's cabin! It was very homie and the bed was very comfortable. The house draws well water and utilize eletricity genrated by solar panels, if you care environmentally aware, this cabin is perfect for you! Lastly, thank you for everything Paul and Sabrina! You guys left the light on outside when we went out and came back late at night! It's these kind of details that earn you guys a all around 5 stars!

Just mins away from both major casinos. Less than 30 mins way from the beach and famous Mystic seaport. This is a beautiful cute 3bdr with all the amenities of any hotel at a much more attractive price. I’m sure once you stay here you will for sure stay again when visiting this area.
Each bedroom is comfy. There is hardwood floors and tile throughout. A great back porch with an outdoor bar set up for your use and the views.
Great quite area that has easy access to both 395 and 95. Less then 2hours to both NYC and BOSTON.
  • Better than advertised - it’s always nice to have your expectations exceeded; and amazing when it is a new listing that does so. Scott is a great host and very responsive and helpful while respecting your privacy. The House was in a great location for our family reunion nearby while close to the casinos and even closer to the up and coming downtown in Norwich with pubs, restaurants and microbreweries (the staff at These Guys Brewing was even better than their beer - the Lord Hobo unfiltered is recommended) all pretty close together. Two things blew us away - Scott’s very thoughtful stocking of goodies, drinks, and traveler’s supplies was comprehensive and amazing. Then when we asked if we could use the fireplace, he not only said yes but went the extra step of getting us some firewood. It definitely made our stay merry and bright! The house is very clean and was nice and warm during the cold spell we experienced during our stay. Whether it’s a family trip or a casino visit with friends, this is a good spot. With family in the area, we look forward to visiting again.

    Steven2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • I was provided with more than I could have asked for. Scott was prompt with any queries I had. If not for my tight schedule, I would’ve gone to the pub I was given coupons for. You won’t regret this..take it before anybody else grabs it.

    Wesley2017-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Scott was a very gracious and responsive host. I was not there to initially meet him, but he met my friends at the house, and explained the setup and rules. There was a fully stocked bar (beer/wine/nips) that are available for purchase which was very convenient if going out to the casinos. As a local bar owner, Scott also left us coupons for one free entree each. Thanks again for this Scott. Overall, this is a great spot for people going to the casino, or enjoying any of the other activities in the area. The house is very comfortable, and has nice views of the Thames river. I will definitely look to stay here again when I next go to the casinos.

    Jack2017-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • The house was clean, and fit our needs perfectly. There are plenty of drinks and snacks available for a reasonable fee. Scott is very welcoming and communication was awesome. The whole stay was pleasant from start to finish. Thank you!

    Nicole2017-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic, about 8 minutes from the Mohegan Sun and about 12 minutes from Foxwoods, can't beat it. The house was in excellent condition and the stay was more than we could have asked for. Scott is a great guy and we would absolutely stay here again. There were items for purchase in case you forgot anything, snacks, and there is a fridge stocked with beer and sodas for additional purchase. Excellent stay 100% recommend, thanks Scott!!

    Louis2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever booked. The photos don’t do this wonderful home justice- as it’s clean, spacious, and wonderfully stocked with any amenities you may need. Scott was a phenomenal and gracious host, bringing us rock salt for the front walkway and champagne flutes as it was New Year’s Eve. He was very quick to answer questions and offered to help us book table service or reservations at Mohegan. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable and the snacks, nips, Beer, soda, wine, and champagne were a wonderful surprise. For the value, this space was perfect! I would love to come back in the summer when it’s warmer and we’d be able to use the back deck space overlooking the river!

  • We really enjoyed our stay with Molly. Her home has a welcoming feel which goes along with her personality. It was great for us that Molly has a dog because we brought our two dogs. They all played together and Molly didn't mind watching them when we went out for dinner a couple of times. The location is really close to downtown and the bedroom we were in was a good size and very quaint. We also had access to the back porch which was nice for some before dinner drinks. My only feedback would be perhaps advising if there is someone in the other bedroom - this is just good to know since our bedroom shares a bathroom with the other room in the house. Also when we arrived the bathroom floor had a lot of hair on it. My wife use to work in a hotel and that is a pet peeve of hers. Other than that we would definitely go back. It was really relaxing and Molly is VERY accommodating

  • Very nice and accommodating! Molly and Jim made sure our stay was above and beyond with their good recommendations and flexibility. We had a great time.

    Shaylin2016-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Molly, her partner, Jim, and dog Andy were delightful hosts! Loved my stay at Molly's airbnb. Welcoming home. Great location. Comfortable bed. Very nice shower. Will stay here next visit for sure. Mystic is such a wonderful town. Check out the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Bank Square Books, Red 36 (festive restaurant), and of course, Mystic Pizza. Also, if you like consignment shops, check out Pennywise and Marine Consignment.

    Marcy2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Molly provided a fast response to my initial inquiry which I really appreciate and she was in close touch to ensure that my arrival was as smooth as it could be. She and Jim and Andy the dog, all gave me a very warm welcome and ensured that me and my cats were safely and comfortably settled. The hospitality from the moment I entered their home until I left was outstanding! This is a really quiet lodging option that is close to all that Mystic has to offer.

  • Molly was very friendly and fun to talk with. The bed was super comfy, the room had plenty of room and storage, and the bathroom was clean! I was so close to downtown, that I could ride my bike. I was there for work so was rarely at the house, but would be happy to stay with Molly again!

  • We stayed at Mystic House for a long weekend family reunion. There were six adults. The experience was excellent. The house is large, the neighborhood is quiet , the photos on the web site are accurate. The kitchen/family room has an "open concept" that facilitated the ambience we sought for the reunion. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. All of the amenities we needed for the weekend were present and well-stocked. We especially appreciated the good supply of large bath towels and all of the coffee "fixins". The kitchen is well equipped. The location is very convenient to Mystic and its attractions. It's not walking distance, but an easy five minute drive to all of the shops, restaurants and attractions of Mystic. Emmanuel is friendly and was immediately responsive in making all arrangements. The "key exchange" was a "code exchange" which went flawlessly. If your group (up to 8) is coming to Mystic, you will can't go wrong selecting this property.

  • Spacious, clean house. True to the photos! Great for families and short drive to town & attractions.

    Brenda2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house was great - nice, clean, big, close to town and a nature sanctuary. Communication with Emmanuel superb. Enjoyed Mystic pizza and Aquariam and relaxing in the house. Couches very comfortable to lounge on! Would go back again!

  • We were three couples with five kids under the age of five staying over fourth of July week. The house is comfortable, clean, spacious, safe and very well-equipped. My friends and I have high standards and this house exceeded our expectations. It was also very close to downtown Mystic and an easy drive to Newport and other great spots around eastern CT. Thanks Emmanuel, we will be back soon!

    Alarice2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful home and really worked for our family. Great location as it so close to Mystic shops and attractions and less than a mile from I-95. The driveway is owned by the neighbor so inviting guests has the potential of being a problem.

Natural beauty and home baking await at your private, fully equipped apartment on the quiet side of the Mystic River. Walk, bike, or paddle to historic downtown or explore the seaport and aquarium. Groton's Submarine Museum, New London's lively waterfront, and Rhode Island's ocean beaches are just a short drive away. Enjoy the patio in warmer weather and wood stove on chilly nights. Fresh muffins or bread will be on hand. Celebrating a special occasion? A homemade cake can be arranged!
You'll be staying in an in-law apartment which is attached to our home but has its own separate entrance - so you can enjoy total privacy. The apartment has a kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, french press, fridge and freezer for your use. Down the hall, you'll find a full bath with shower and a washer/dryer. The bedroom has a full bed, a mini-dresser, and a walk-in closet. There's a queen sofa bed in the living room, as well. The TV in the living room is hooked up to Roku, and you'll have access to our Netflix, Amazon Prime, Acorn, HBO, Showtime, and Sling channel subscriptions. There are board games, books, and more books at the corner of Bindloss and Cow Hill Roads, where our neighbor maintains a Little Lending Library. :-) In fall and winter, you'll have use of the wood stove, which will be supplied with wood or bio bricks.
Directly across the street is a babbling brook which runs into a salt pond at the end of the block. Also at the end of the block: the majestic Mystic River, which is basically one big, gorgeous postcard. If you have a kayak, the boat launch is a 2-minute drive. If you like long walks, the trek into town is a lovely mile and a half of river views and historic homes (be sure to explore the Peace Nature Sanctuary, which you'll find just 1/4 mile from the apartment). Not surprisingly, cyclists love this neighborhood! Bring your own bikes or from May 1 - Nov. 1, you can use the Mystic Community Bikes ride share program, which offers convenient pick-up and drop off locations nearby for a $10 deposit.
  • Susan's place was so cute, charming and cozy! It had everything we needed for the weekend and was only a picturesque mile walk to town. Susan also made us fresh muffins which were delicious!

    Kristie2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Right off the highway (95) and within walking distance to Mystic. BEAUTIFUL walk along the water and county road. House is clean and spacious with games, books, wifi, and TV. Susan was extremely hospitable. She was so flexible with our check in time (we drove here in a snow storm!). She made us blueberry muffins in the morning and had all sorts of breakfast foods and drinks available. Would do it again in a heartbeat!! Highly recommend this place!

    Libby2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was waiting for us, stocked the fridge with essentials, baked some homemade muffins, wrote down local things to enjoy, and showed us around. Couldn't have been better!

    Timothy2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway. The pictures and description do not truly do it justice for the size and comfort. Large bedroom, large living room and kitchen. Very quiet, and the mentioned I 95 noise simply sounds like the quietest white noise machine ever, so not even worth mentioning in my opinion. Susan was super easy to communicate with and her baked goodies were abundant and extremely delicious. Highly recommend!

    Jamie2016-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • This home had everything we were looking for. Enough space for a family to spread out, but still the coziness of a river cabin. We loved walking next to the river in the morning, and in the afternoon heading downtown to the lovely shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. This was our 100th time in Mystic, but our first time in an Air BnB... and we have to say it was our best time so far.

    Nicole2017-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I spent one night at Susan's place when we had a wedding in the area. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We had everything we could've needed and more. Her house is located on a quiet street, yet you are just a few minutes from the center of town. Susan was an excellent host and check-in/ check-out was a breeze. Highly recommended.

    Cara2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is much more spacious than it looks in the photos. Susan was such a gracious host and worked so hard to make sure we were comfortable. We were able to walk to downtown Mystic even with a stroller and we made the apartment baby-friendly by bringing a pack n play. Great memories for our first trip as a family.

    Katherine2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first B&B experience. My daughter and I stayed 3 nights. It was a home away from home! The TV situation was a little quirky, but Susan was a text or call away to help me figure it out. I would stay again if I come back to the area. Susan also made excellent suggestions as to where to dine. The area is beautiful. Plenty to do and see for 3 days.
