“Achterin een schitterend park ligt buitenplaats Doornburg. Het is van de nonnen van het Heilig Graf, die er in de jaren zestig een modern klooster naast hebben gebouwd. Er wonen nog steeds nonnen in het klooster, die hier mensen ontvangen voor vergaderingen of stilte-retraites. Het park is in de 19de eeuw ontstaan door de tuin van Doornburgh samen te voegen met de parken van drie buur-buitenplaatsen. Aan de lange kade langs het jaagpad kan aangemeerd worden. Vanaf hier kun je langs de Vecht naar het dorp of door het park van Goudestein wandelen of een bezoek brengen aan het Vechtstreekmuseum of het Drogisterijmuseum, naast Goudestein gelegen.”
